As an unspeakable evil ravages New York City, the last of the Sangerye Family fight just to stay alive. But with Cullen missing and presumed dead, hope is fading fast, both for the family, and the fate of humanity.
The writing and the art remain top drawer. Lots of questions are answered, and the characters get a chance to regroup before all Hell breaks loose, (and in the context of this story they mean that literally). Everything we liked about the first issues, including the back-of-book essays and commentary, are still executed to a high standard.
(Please note that I had a chance to read a free ecopy of this book without a review requirement, or any influence regarding review content should I choose to post a review. Apart from that I have no connection at all to either the author or the publisher of this book.)
I love that this issue really brought everything full circle. I had been feeling like there were some loose ends or hidden connections we were missing, and now I Know exactly what was truly going on. It was all really well done, actually. I can’t wait to see the next issue, because I feel like things are going to get a little…hectic. The antagonists side made that much very clear.
