A missing priceless piece of art and an impromptu trip to Russia– what could possibly go wrong?

Amelia Hemmingway’s estranged father goes missing for ten years and in one day, he manages to upturn her perfect life. Soon, she’s hurtling to the cold white north of God’s Nowhere, North Bay. Even though all she wants to do is hide, Amelia knows if she wants her life back, she will have to fight. To make matters worse, the man who is supposed to protect her is a grumpy as all hell, wolf owning, ex Canadian Special forces soldier.

Could things get any worse?

Ex-JTF2 soldier Liam “Wraith” Snyder never thought he would ever step foot back on Russian soil much less be dodging bullets and playing chicken with armed crooks. He is way too old for that mess. But when Amelia shows up on his doorsteps, a promise Tex made to her father will come back to haunt Liam.

As the bullets fly, and they venture deeper and deeper into the frozen tundra, it will take all his connections to get them out alive—and keep his heart.

Great read

It was full of suspense and had real character development. From time to time I found Amelia’s behavior really childish. I mean instead of being grateful, she was wasting energy in questioning Wraith and being jealous of Lili. I’m glad that by the end she had matured and focused on the important things. I didn’t give the last star because they were a few threads left unexploited. First thing, how come her dad didn’t know where the painting was and why did he need her? I was a bit unclear. The other thing is unless he was going for the Canadian SWAT equivalent, I don’t see Wraith as a cop. With his skills I would have preferred for him to actually linked with the others to set up a security firm, mainly if her dad’s enemies come back for her. It was said at the beginning of the book that neither he nor her could go back to their old lives.

Holy smokes must read!!!

I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down until it was finished and I still want more from these two characters. The storyline flowed and it kept you hooked and actioned packed and romance and steamy sex scenes and hot alpha Male leim who is absolutely been through so much in his life and consider his job of handing out death to the evil men and ends up wanting to stop and finds Amelia on his doorstep asking for help and it becomes an actioned packed and I loved leim and Amelia together.
O cant wait to read what the next book will be.

Good Good Stuff

If you are looking for a fast paced action story with some sexy romance thrown in and along the way a mystery painting is missing. This was not only enjoyable but it was entertaining as well ,you are not going to be bored and you are going to want to know what happens around the next corner. The two main characters are not only likable but you cheer that they come out on top but you like that they are attracted to one another. This was good writing and a good story ,I would definitely look for the other books in the series.

FAST MOVING AND SUSPENSEFUL DRAMA

An intense chase through Russia to save a hidden painting. Wealth is asked to protect the girl. Her father at one time worked for the Seal Team as a handler. He had disappeared from her lifetime 10 years. Now he is back with warnings about danger and has her run for her life. Lots of action and a surprise ending.

Intriguing

This was expertly written by an author I hadn't tried before. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Almost every page has action in it. There is sexual , though it isn't over abundant. From Canada to Russia. As you read you wonder about the heroine's father. Will read more from this author.

Good story - horrible editing

The story, and much of the writing, was actually good. But the editing issues got worse and worse as the book progressed. There were missed or incorrect words, commas in the wrong places, and the wrong tense used in several spots. Also, since I am being judgy, the heroine was super whiny.

The Ending...

I had a few questions like ,where was Doc in the end? Is that all that happened to her father? And will the ending not being more problems with La La?

Yes, yes, another hot read!

When in trouble, who do you call? A handsome, alpha special forces bad-a_ _ named Liam' Wraith' Snyder. Wraith has been in seclusion, enjoying some peace and quiet, but when a woman shows up needing help, he does what a real man does. He gets ready to kick butt and take names to protect her. Amelia Hemmingway's in trouble thanks to her father, so she needs Wraith's help to help foul the bad guys and possibly find her father if he isn't already dead. I love the guys and girls in each story, their strength, dedication to the job, their love for one another, and whom they are trying to protect. This book has action and suspense, and a shocker when we learn it was Amelia's father who was the bad guy. And the laughter and jokes when Tex and the other friends get involved are a must in every story. Enemies, beware, you don't stand a chance! A star rating, but editing is needed.
