A chance encounter with a billionaire, a kiss on the KissCam, and a little white lie...
Amber Jensen gives her extra baseball game ticket—the one that should have been for her ex—to a homeless man. That's how upset she is about their breakup. But the man who buys the ticket from the homeless man turns out to be refreshingly different from her ex. Unfortunately, she's embarrassed about what her new single life entails, so she lies.
Colin Ellery lies too. With Amber so insistent about her dislike for wealthy men, he decides to keep his billion-dollar bottom line to himself. But after they accidentally share a kiss that ends up on the KissCam and he can't stop thinking about it, he wishes he'd told the truth so he could see her again. He does though - when she turns up at his house as the new maid.
She's his new housekeeper - but she doesn't know that. He's her new boss - but he doesn't care about that. Her prejudice and shame could keep them apart, but he wants them to be together. Will Amber and Colin see through the lies as she's deceiving the billionaire?

Delicious. A novel like this one, short but full of love. After Amber's relationship with a millionaire goes awry, she knows for sure; men with money think they can do anything, even belittle their significant other. She's so done with men with money. Tom Colin gets carried away by Amber and her artless demeanor, so refreshing to him. A problem; he has not millions but trillions. How does he keep her in his life?
A short but complete love story that will make your toes curl 4,5*
I found this confusing. For one it needs a good editing. At least one sentence didn’t make sense and the overuse of fuller and passive words annoyed me. The the big problem was the plot. She was burnt by a millionaire and wanted nothing to do with a rich man again. But along comes Tom and when she finds out his rich, it’s okay I’ll go out with you. The previous problems forgotten. I’d prefer more of a bite to the story.
This was a very quick and easy read with not much depth, but it was a very sweet romance that got a HEA in a very few pages. A good book to fill a little time while waiting. VICKI FROM WYOMING
