When flamboyant senior sleuth Sadie Kramer learns the owner of Cioccolato, her favorite chocolate shop, is in trouble, she heads for the California wine country with a tote-bagged Yorkie and a slew of questions. The fourth generation Tremiato Winery promises answers, but not before a dead body turns up at the vintners’ scheduled Harvest Festival.
All four Tremiato siblings have possible motives, as well as a few peripheral acquaintances, but only one could be the guilty party. As Sadie juggles truffles, tips and turmoil, she’ll need to sort the grapes from the wrath in order to find the identity of the killer.
A Flair for Drama:
When a former schoolmate invites flamboyant senior sleuth Sadie Kramer to a theatre production, she jumps at the excuse to visit the Monterey Bay area for a weekend. With quaint Carmel shops a short drive away and luxurious linens in her hotel accommodations, the excursion promises to be both entertaining and relaxing.
Plenty of action is expected on stage, but when the show's leading lady turns up dead, Sadie finds herself faced with more than one drama to follow. With both cast members and production crew as potential suspects, will Sadie and her sidekick Yorkie, Coco, be able to solve the case?
A Flair for Beignets:
When Sadie Kramer heads to New Orleans with her sidekick Yorkie, Coco, her sole expectation is a spectacular vacation. With fabulous music, exquisite cuisine, and rich culture, how could a week in The Big Easy be anything less than fantastic? And it is - until a customer at popular Chez Lisette Patisserie drops dead face-first in a raspberry-almond tart.
A competitive bakery, a newly-formed friendship, and even Hotel Arnaud-LeBlanc’s luxurious accommodations offer possible suspects. As Sadie sorts through a gumbo of interconnected characters, will she discover who the killer is? Or will the killer discover her first?

I read the first book in this series about the wine country, and it was Ok, then I read the next book about the theatre /play in Monterrey and the main character - Sadie came across as a dippy, shallow
Middle aged woman who spent a lot of time stuffing her face with chocolate and buying stuff she didn't need. All this while talking to her Yorkie who lived in a shopping bag she carried everywhere. This is not a woman I would enjoy being friends with and will not read any more of this author's books.
A delightful collection of mysteries with Sadie Kramer and her sidekick Coco brilliantly solving the mysteries after going through hilarious hoolahoops . The supporting characters are endearing, and realistic.
One of the best and intriguing collection I have come across in the recent times. One has to read the collection to enjoy the same reading experience I did.
I am now off to find more books in the series, enjoy them with my canine companion snoozing by my side! !!
Sadie owns a clothing store and her Yorkie Coco is a regular fixture at her shop. The first story is a murder mystery at a winery that her friend that has a chocolate store next to hers family owns. Her friend is a suspect so she helps to solve the must to clear her friend. The second story occurs at a theatre that her friend invites her to. Coco becomes a star in the play. The third occurs in New Orleans at a pastry shop that her new friend recommended. All the stories are fun and entertaining and Coco is the comic relief. Great series.
The "Don't put me down, funniest mystery you will read" !
This author has "Flair" to be sure. I read both books in this set in a day and a half. The characters alone make this worth 📚. It is witty, while at the same time you don't forget you are reading a mystery, one well written. It is not until near the end, or the end of the book, before y you know 'who dunnit'. I would recommend this book to any of my mystery reading friends!
A quirky older lady with a dog who has a big personality solves murders. Sadie enjoys travel with her dog Coco. There are little things I noticed like that the dog must have an amazing bladder but it's all forgiven because the books are easy to read and hard to predict.
This series would make a great Netflix series with Bette Midler playing Sadie or Patty Lupone. I have never been so entertained by such a talented storytelling.
A flair for fashion, life, and murder Sadie a boutique owner and amateur sleuth finds adventure murder and delicious treat wherever she goes with her confidant and love, Coco her little yorkie.
This is an entertaining collection that will be of great interest to those who enjoy fashion. The second mystery is a bit slow, but one and three are engaging.
Sadie just cannot seem to help herself, she seems to always find a murder case to solve. On a week's visit to New Orleans, Sadie meets a local who invites her to breakfast only to have a murder occur in front of them via a poisonous raspberry tart.
Sadie's adventures with Coco are fun and enjoyable while solving mysteries. Sadie visits places while taking a few days away from her work, and dives into solving crimes with her beloved spoiled Coco as a companion. Very entertaining reading.
Cosy mysteries featuring Sadie Kramer a clothing shop owner. Good thing Sadie owns her own business because every time she tries to take a day off she stumbles over a murder. She packs up her spoiled little Yorkie, CoCo, and saves the day. These are cute non gory mysteries with fun characters.
Sadie, a sweet toothed boutique owner embarks on entertaining adventures. She loves solving crimes whilst trying to keep an eye on her mischievous dog Coco. I found these to be enjoyable, entertaining, quirky and delightful. Absolutely mysteries with flair.
These three books we entertaining. It was interesting tho read and try to figure out who murdered the individuals in each of the stories. I loved Cocos involvement and three recipes.
This book is an adventure from the start. The travel and local interest made you feel as if you were there or that you wanted to be. The food made you feel you wanted to grab a plate.
A great three for. I was surprised by who dun it especially in the last book. Very enjoyable with no foul language or seamy sex scenes. Sadie and her cute little side kick, Coco, are off for lots of adventure.
Thoroughly enjoyed this set of mysteries and read them one right after the other. Sadie & Coco are delightful characters and the mysteries fun & exciting. The author paints a vivid picture of the locales and clothing that are fun to read.
Each story was complete within itself! 3 different stories and all *G* rated! Three different cities cleverly woven into three different mysteries! A good read and enjoyable.!!Gramps in Brooklet, Ga!
Sadie owns a fashion boutique called Flair in San Francisco. She is also part-time amateur sleuth who happens to have a knack for finding herself in the middle of murder mysteries when she travels.
