Fight Fire With Fire

The Drow are back.

Unfortunately, the Drow are looking to get hold of Alison.

An order to locate the princess means they need to find and deal with Brownstone.

They will have to go through him first.

Hail To The King

Men Will Be Men

Tyler has figured out an additional way to make money off Brownstone.

But Brownstone has to agree, first.

Brownstone gets a request from his hacker support after doing a job for the Professor.

It seems she might have upset someone close to home.

Will Tyler piss off Brownstone and end the bar’s neutrality, or has the Professor found someone with enough magic to take Brownstone out and asked for a favor?

Alison Brownstone

Alison is back to share summer with James.

The problem is that James' lawyer says that they are going to fight his effort to adopt her.

James has to pull in his natural proclivity to punch something until it gives in with the government.

Unfortunately for the government, James' friends have his back.

The Drow Queen makes an unexpected appearance, fighting James in the courtroom.

One Bad Decision

Shay goes to a museum and consults with the AET. Then, she doesn't come home on time.

Brownstone goes on a rampage when he learns what happens.

Using his contacts, Brownstone gets Tyler involved when he learns that Lt. Hall is in trouble.

The criminals are powerful, and clever.

It seems the hit on the Los Angeles Museum was planned far in advance.

Well, planned or not, if you come into Brownstone's area and kidnap his woman, you have a problem.

Fatal Mistake

The government is trying to take down the Council...

But they get their asses handed to them.

One of the senators wanted to play hardball from the beginning but got outvoted.

Now, the head of the task force is killed.

Will they wise up and swallow their pride to get the best?

Lt. Hall is working more closely with Shay, and admits that the kidnapping and fights and losing a man has made it hard to sleep.

Karma Is A Bitch

The Council Is Dead. Long Live the New Council.

How do you have a Council of one?

Brownstone is working to get back into a rhythm, but the last remaining Council member is seeking Brownstone.

Shay has jobs to do, but can she leave Brownstone alone without him dying?

Can Lt.

Need a Break - For Me

I have been reading, almost continuously, 'The Unbelievable Mr. Brownstone", at least for the past 5 days. My eyes are bloodshot and burning and I am starting to have headaches from too little sleep. But it's been worth it.
The bad guys keep getting badder (is that a word?); James Brownstone keeps upping his game to taking them down. Additionally, the Leadership Team keeps getting stronger and in this book it takes a quantum step up.
Once again, the action is non-stop, exceeding my expectations. For the past three books, I have thought the pace couldn't continue and the next book would disappoint - hasn't happened.
The setup for the next major storyline is shared, and the antagonist isn't exactly who you may have expected.

This writing team continues to amaze and entertain - keep it up folks.

Highly recommend.

Going to take a couple of days off - I'm still ahead of the 200 for 2019 pace set by LMPBM (or was it 400 and I'm behind?)

Awesome set of books, makes it easier to read the series

Love boxed sets, I can start reading and not have to stop and wait for the next book to download. Especially helpful if you are listening to on a my Alexa device Since I have been having trouble reading for extended periods of time, listening to on my Echo isn't a fun as being able to read a book but it's a close second.
This group has great action scenes that will keep you glued to the pages, lots of humor, and plenty of personal interaction between the characters. The characters are so well developed, it would be impossible to name my favorite, it switches from book to book. Highly recommend! Great book!

Smirk

Who the hell invented that word? I think the author used it at least twice on EVERY SINGLE PAGE. It is so overused. Anderle, find another expression. Oh, wait. Did you even write any of those stories? And Stay character. She was introduced and immediately falls in love? Come on. I think this character is very shallow and no attempt to make her better, failed. Stories are entertaining to a point, but too many useless chat pages that did not advance the plot. Another, read a few, skip a few (pages) book.

One of the greats,!!!!!!

I luv the books in this universe! It's full of more twists and more mystery than you can keep up with! The Brownstone family is tough. What he is comes out in the last few pages of the final book in this box set. No I'm not going to lie to you, you already know he's an alien, but what kind? Is he a good man or will he become a monster? No way, not our James! I refuse to believe that! He has to many people he cares about ( even a new dog) . Don't miss this outstanding book set. Highly recommended!!!!!!

amazing

Books 7 through 12 were amazing. The last couple of pages just kind of blew my mind and can’t wait to read books 13- through 18. I mean I’m in the middle of Allisons books after college and the necessary school of magic. I think what I really like best about this universe is the ability to step in it different parts in a different series and it be fine that you’re not reading it in a perfect OCD order. I probably have 100 books on my kindle for the universe alone snag it buy it get them all just just have fun eat some barbecue pizza or sushi.

Great series

I picked the first boxed set up on a whim. Not my usual type of read but I have been thoroughly enjoying them. I just finished the second boxed set. The only thing was, at one point in the book a main character started talking about Lily. I never even read about Lily and how she got into the series. It was a surprise. I don’t know if I somehow missed a book or not. I’ll carry on without ever understanding, I guess.

The Ever Evolving Brownstone At His Best

What a magnificent imagination Michael Anderle has, the Brownstone books are so good they make me want to weep! Many a morning I am still reading at 1am just to get to the end of a book. Brownstone has come a long way from the first book. We now see him with a softer side but woe to those who dare go after his family! Bring on some more Brownstone and beat downs.

Forgive me Father for I am going to sin.

I love James Brownstone and the Heading is basically what JB said before eliminating the Harriman. Poor Father McCartney! James is so tough but also so without a clue. These books are a continuation of the Brownstone story and just make you want more. Being called a Vax Forerunner at the end of the last book makes me convinced that there will certainly be more. It’s so great to be able to sit back and relax with a good book. I have to say that Michael Anderle and company always deliver.

Out of this world...again

Brownstone and crew have once more rocked my world! You know a book is great when you find yourself laughing aloud AND crying over it. I'm going to start the next omnibus tomorrow, and I'm already nervous about the trouble ahead. Keep cranking out these books, and I guarantee reading them!!!

Must keep reading!

The characters grow, action scenes are satisfying, and answers are finally given. Spelling and continuity errors lost it a star but an update should take care of them.

Incredible series!

One of the best series I have read. Totally couldn’t put the books down. Numerous twists and turns in the stories prevented boredom or lagging interest. I want to be a bounty hunter now!!!

I read the first 10 books of this series back to back a while ago. It's formulaic, but entertaining. It seems to have been written for men. The characters were usually likable, but not complex enough for my taste. Everything was rah rah military/boys in blue and "give respect to get respect". I can't count the number of times those ideas were repeated. It was tiresome. I'm used to urban fantasy that has more character depth and lots of grays. This series is very black and white. The good guys vs. the bad guys, and the bad guys are always taught a lesson using extreme violence. The big bad bounty hunter as a 30 year old virgin with strong ties to the Catholic church was kind of over the top, too. One of the books - I forget which - used the phrase "my little angel" so many times that I might have ripped out the page had it not been on kindle. This publisher believes in quantity above all else. I'm guessing they don't put much effort into editing, so it's actually shocking that the books are as good as they are. Heck, I'm complaining plenty, but I still gave it a 4. The series is actually very entertaining; it's a light (and violent) read that doesn't go too dark in the first 10 books.

On the plus side, it's imaginative, and the main character did grow as he expanded his circle of friends and family. A lot of time is spend on the growth of those relationships, and there are always interesting bad ass fight scenes. I gave up after book 10 because book 11 seemed a bit darker than I wanted to read.
