i read this story as part of an arc program. This is a quick read about a young woman named Jess. Jess was raised in a very religious family and was forced to deny her feelings and marry a man. Jess had a son and soon after, an illness killed off almost everyone. Jess lost her family and when her husband and son died, she wanted to leave Atlanta to return home to Savannah to die. Jess started walking and eventually found a moped. When she ran out of gas, she tried to get into a department store, only to meet Havoc. Havoc was another young woman and the only woman Jess saw in the weeks of her journey. Havoc offered to help Jess and give her food and let her stay with her in the store, where she set up home. The two women became friends and soon Jess was noticing how attractive her new friend was. This was a good story. I felt bad for all that Jess had lost, but was happy she found friendship and happiness with Havoc. Good one.

What Would You Do At The End of the World?

A quick read about one woman's journey through grief and finding love after a devastating outbreak wipes out nearly everyone. Jess is young, but after losing all her family decides that she wants to go to the last place she remembered being happy. Her path leads her to Savannah where she discovers she's not as alone in the world as she thought. Havoc is an interesting character that slowly brings Jess out of her shell and lets her experience things she never thought possible. While there are some steamy parts, it's much more of an emotional tale.

I want more!!

Oh… it's just SOOOO good!! It ended way too soon & now I'm gonna be stuck forever wondering what happens to Havoc & Jess—do they ever find anyone else or do they just live out their days together ¿& how many days do they get to enjoy & what experiences do they share? Do they survive, living out their lives, or does the fever get them too, or some other calamity? I just want —need—more of this story so much!!
