It's been a long time since I felt this much emotional during such a short sci-fi story. This featured a teenage adventurous girl, his scientist/archaeologist father, a team of humane scientists in his worklab, a racist villain who formed a group of like-minded people, the whole curious world, the nature, moutains and forests, and a neanderthal boy who has been awakened after quite a long while since his race was believed to have gone extinct.
It's a simple story, with predictable outcomes, and yet, it caught hold of something at the core. I'm glad I read it.
