Alchemy has been a culture of very ancient formation. Already traces of alchemical thought are already known since the Iron Age and in particular from the ancient culture of China. Chinese Alchemy was founded on the basis of the alternation of two complementary principles called YANG-YIN - which created a union of opposites YANG (Sky - Sun - Male) (YIN - Terra - Moon - Female), capable of realizing inversion between them of active and passive properties generally symbolized by a circle in which a double inverse rotation spiral generates a black pole in a white semi-field and vice versa a white pole in the other semi-field black.

Interesting book, would give it another read

I chose this rating becouss the auther made it simple, whilst delving into a complicated subject

I liked the simplicity of the wording
