They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Freya seems to accomplish this after a disastrous night in the French Quarter.

The people she thought she could trust are no more, and her disappearance has the coven’s nerves shot.

Sterling can’t do it on his own, but with tensions rising, will he be able to do what it takes to get Freya back and save his loved ones?
Or will he suffer under the hands of a new villain and find himself a puppet like all the rest?

Don’t take my review for it, purchase the book yourself and READ it. It is really that good.

After reading this book, I am once again at a loss for words. I got to the last page, and kept flipping because there was no way that the book ended. I don’t think this second book could have ended any more perfectly.
So much happened in the second book, both good and bad. There were moments when I would start tearing up, and that’s how I now I have found a good book. The author is able to bring the book to life and everything seems so real.
I also love how she brings in a few things directly tied to Cajuns and New Orleans.
Absolutely cannot wait for the next book!

This book is a ride from beginning to end. Some truths and revealed Sterling makes some choices, you spend the whole time questioning, Shay's motives are revealed, and Freya faces a new enemy she didn't want to run in to. There is a cliffhanger, but it just makes you want the next book more.

Another quick read, things almost got spicy with Sterling (def lots of sexual tension between those two), got to meet her brother & her father, her mother is giving vibes on actually being decent/caring, thought we’d there was gonna be a war at the end maybe it’s what will start the next book?

I never thought I’d say this but here it is.... this book was even better than the first!!!

In Fixated we get to have more interaction with Sterling and in turn his relationship with Freya. We get to meet a selection of wonderful, and not so wonderful new characters. Also Valien and his backstory become more of a factor in the story as well as the lives of Freya and Sterling. By the end of the book a war is brewing and loyalties will be tested-what side will you be on?

The story picks up right where the first left off, so no loose ends there. This one is super fast paced and shows us just how important one witch can be to the New Orleans coven. We are sent on a roller coaster of a ride that takes us from the city of New Orleans to the swamps and back again. Freya is tried and tested and pushed to her limits in Fixated

Freya’s absolutely brilliant in this story-there is more of a leader developing in her, yet she does have a few hiccups with her emotions just like any of us. She is very relatable and I can see myself making some of the same decisions/mistakes as her and that’s what makes a character brilliant in my eyes.

Sterling is fabulous in every way! I’ve always been a fan of his from day one and I have not been disappointed! He starts to morph into a better version of himself and starts to shoulder more responsibility and his true colours start to show.

I can’t rave about this book any more! I need to stop myself as I don’t want to put any spoilers in it! A Lonergan has delivered a spectacular read that I could not put down! I can see my self reading this several more times whilst waiting for the third instalment! Do yourself a favour and READ THIS BOOK!!

Wow....just wow. Reading Lonergans Transfixed you think “it can’t get any better than this” then you read Fixated and it surpasses! She continues to immerse you in the spirit of New Orleans and brings in new exciting characters while building on the original ones. This series is a great read when you just want to escape reality and I cannot wait to see where this adventure leads us next!

Loved it!

Fixated was everything I thought it would be and so much more! Just when you thought things would start to settle down for Freya and Sterling, the plot twists and leaves you craving more, ready for what’s next. I can not wait for Captivated! I loved this book so much and five stars really isn’t enough.
