Archer Hay is the pen name of brother and sister writing team, Jim Archuletta and Kelly Hay. Jim is a small-town police officer. Kelly is a big-city lawyer. Together, they make one (dys)functional crime novelist. They were born and raised in Ogallala, Nebraska and are now based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to being a police officer and a lawyer, they have also been the editor-in-chief of a legal journal, a US Marine, an evil poppet maker, an actor, and a chanteuse. (We'll let you guess who did what!) When the two are not writing, they are deep thinkers who spend hours on group texts tackling such issues as "do you crumple or fold the toilet paper?" and trying to one-up each other with gifs.
