Heven

This book just draws you more and more as you read it. You find yourself cheering for Adonis wanting him to end up with Cara. Cara makes you fall in love with how strong of a fighter she is. I could not put this book down.

When I first started to read this book I was a bit wary, due to the nature at the beginning, but after I got through the first few chapters I started to get really into the story and the characters. The twists in the plot took me by surprise while it helped to round the story out nicely. I was intrigued to know more and found myself starting to like Adonis, even though he was essentially the bad guy from the beginning. The heroine, Daisy is what every girl needs to be, strong, fierce and never gives up, she does not give in to the oppression that is being forced on her. She knows her mind and that is the admirable trait of her. I won't lie that the first few chapters were tough to get through, to the point where I didn't know if I could go on with the story as it is not what I usually read, but I am glad that I carried on and finished it within a few days. Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this book.

Dark & Gripping.

I found this book from the very start to be dark & violent and that is the theme throughout the book.
The characters are very well written and you start to wonder how Cara (one of the main characters)finds the strength to carry on with everything that happens to her.
There is alot of sex scenes which some people may find distressing as alot of it is non consensual so basically rape. Therefore this may not be for you!
I found it a challenge and difficult to read at times but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. It keeps you gripped and draws you in wanting to find out what the outcome is for Cara.

Surprised

I liked it. Pleasantly surprised that it more of paranormal romance than was described. Heroine is tough. I felt that the hero should have stood up to his father more.

Unique,paranormal dark captive tale

My favorite genre written well, with a most unique paranormal twist resulting in over the top steam! The impressive, steely heroine and singular antihero didn't hurt either. I will definitely check out more of this author 's catalogue.
