How the mighty have fallen. Once upon a time, I rode with the Knuckleheads Motorcycle Club - waging war against drug dealers, pimps, and gun runners. Then, I got lucky - or did I?
A winning hand at poker gave me a life of fame and privilege - but it felt empty. Fake. Like part of me was missing. Then, one day, all that changed - when she came pounding at my door.
Chloe Parris - the most beautiful little spitfire I'd ever laid eyes on, and the daughter of my old biker brother Frenchie. Executives from a big oil company had gunned down Chloe's father, and now they were after her. Before he'd died, Frenchie had told her to find the only people he trusted to protect his daughter - The Knuckleheads. Only, the Knuckleheads didn't exist any more - except as the gang of poseurs my buddies and I pretended to be on TV.
But when murderous thugs come gunning for Chloe, my old instincts took over. Once a Knucklehead, always a Knucklehead - and if I have to reform my old gang just to keep this gorgeous girl safe, you bet your ass I'll do it. We're the Knuckleheads Reborn - and I'll wage war against the Devil himself if that's what it takes to keep Chloe safe.
Flint is a 91,000 word, stand-alone, Motorcycle Club Romance featuring explicit sensuality, incredible storytelling, and a blistering pace that will leave you breathless by the time you reach the guaranteed HEA. Enjoy!
ONE CAPTIVATING READ!!! Whoa baby. Talk about walking the walk. When push comes to shove, push back. HARDER! Simone really nailed this bad boy bringing it roaring to life brilliantly. A whirlwind of emotions and events that will rock you to the core. All the drama, fear, uncertainty, corruption, danger and suspense increases while tension spirals. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances that make for one thrilling experience. Talk about an action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, nerve racking, nailbitng, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning bombshell that's as riveting as it is captivating from start to finish. The two main characters chemistry is intense was intense, white hot and explosive. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Simone did an amazing job bringing this read together flawlessly. Fantastic job Simone, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
Flint used to ride with the Knucklehead MC but a lucky streak at the poker tables gave him a chance at a different life. He opened a garage then became a reality star. He is starting to get a little bored with life. In runs Chloe, literally. She is being chased by some bad guys. Her dad used to ride with the Knuckleheads. He was murdered and with his dying breath he tells her to find the Knuckleheads. What she finds is that they have disbanded. Flint and his reality star friends get caught in the middle but they are willing to help. Not quite the MC story you may expect. However, there is plenty of sexy scenes action. Car chases, guns, fires and insta love add the an good story.
I wish Amazon would allow negative stars this author would always get negative 5 from me! She can't write worth a dern and she has more errors then enjoyable reading material. I was reading these because they were free and I have been blown away by the many 5 star reviews I just don't see how she gets them. So I decided I would suffer through to give my honest opinion. Well I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do it because this author has ticked me off something fierce! The disrespectful comments she keeps repeating during Flints meeting with Bertha are very rude. I'm from Alabama and I know Alabama gets a bad rep not only for our over zealous bama fans but some reason they say people in the south their family trees tend to have no branches if you know what I mean. I've laughed at my share of inbred red neck jokes but for this author to keep saying crap about my State is ticking me off. The first comment was - But the way she snaked her arm around Flint’s elbow, and patted his huge hand, suggested the kind of intimacy cousins only have in states like Alabama. Then couple pages later Flint says- “Like a brother down in Alabama,” Call me sensitive but it makes me mad so I don't know if I can trust myself to give an honest opinion for this author who I've developed a severe disliking. She uses the same freaking words to describe everything! She repeats the same stuff she already has said once or twice. When the book started I'm sure Chloe stated that her father was dead more then 5 times but she kept repeating the same mess over and over! This author fills pages with rehashed crap she has the imagination of a rock or better yet less say The Rock since she uses him in every book to describe her male characters at least 3 different times! I finally finished this crap I will say this it was probably the least trashy book she has written so far the first two I've read both girls turned into total ho bags and Chloe was wanting to go that route so badly but thankfully we didn't have to suffer through reading about it. I did a count on the most repeated words she used in this books to describe things which is what drives me crazy like she cant learn better words to change things up a bit the word "Huge" was used 141 times through out the book. The words "Steely eyes" she used to refer to Flints eyes were used 19 times and there are a lot more but this is just the two main ones I can't stand I thought I'd mention pass this one by folks it's not worth it!!
The plot was good, if a little stretched. It is a good Bad Boy romance but not really an MC romance. More of a former biker romance. At points it looked like it might turn into a reverse harem book but it did not. Which is a good thing because it felt all wrong for the characters, despite the two main characters talking about it. My biggest issue is one I cannot really address because I would ave to viThe plot was good, if a little stretched. It is a good Bad Boy romance but not really an MC romance. A judge gives them a perfectly legal justification for doing something in the book yet they do it in a way that breaks laws instead. It makes no sense to me. I can't explain anymore without spoilers but it is the reason I only gave it 3 stars. There is a scene that makes no sense at all. I had the opportunity to read this story by 'ARC'. I liked it so much, I purchased it so that I could re-read it in the future. I have to say I enjoy reading stories by this author. She definitely has a very vivid imagination that touches readers with flair and enthusiasm. She is one my favorite authors to read.
What can I say about this story that the blurb didn't cover. It contains hot steamy scenes with some dirty talking added to the mix. It also has suspense and action (breaking down doors, blowing up things) you get the picture. And all of this is done by a swift fast pace.
The plot was top notch. It kept me is suspense just waiting for their next play to begin. The characters, themselves, were awesome. They played their parts with the story that made them believable. I kept rooting for them throughout the story. The main characters (Flint/Chloe) had an attraction from the start but they kept going with determination to complete their purpose. The side characters had their own small parts to play. I'm really hoping they will get their own stories if this turns into a series (that's a big hint to the author).
I would recommend this to readers who loves hot romance with a purpose loaded with suspense and action.
Where to start...Ok, Flint, a former Knucklehead is now on a reality TV show showcasing a biker club that is similar to Pimp My Ride but only with motorcycles. A former member of the Knuckleheads daughter, Chloe, shows up on his doorstep informing him her father is dead and asking for help with the unpleasant people following her. So the former biker playing a biker on TV along with his crew have to make a decision and make it now or they may lose their lives.
Flint and Chloe fall hard and fast, but there is so much more at risk than their budding romance. There is adventure, suspense, action (some parts felt like I was watching an action movie) throw in a group of crazy but lovable kinda bikers, an arrogant security dude that thinks he’s above the law, a healthy dose of steam along with some really cool people from Flint’s past and you have this story.
I liked this story more than I thought. At about 70% I thought about giving up due to the story getting a little laggy here. However, it soon picked up again. I really wanted to know how this all ended so I kept reading. I only gave four stars because the ending didn’t do it for me. Some readers will surely enjoy it, but I couldn’t take it.
As stated, an entertaining read that will keep you reading until the end.
“Flint” is totally not what I expected and I totally liked it . I don't recall reading anything by this author but I enjoy her style of writing. Instead of a bad-boy biker we have a reality star and a group of young inexperienced men pretending to be a biker club (the Knuckleheads MC). Flint was once member of the notorious vigilante biker club now disbanded. After a huge win in a poker game, hunky bad boy Flint quits the club and purchases a motorcycle shop. He soon becames a hit reality program. Along comes Chloe Parris, the daughter of Frenchie, a former Knucklehead. Frenchie has been murdered and now the thugs are after Chloe. She's come to ask for help from the Knuckleheads. Will Flint give up everything to help Choe and take revenge on the murderers? Yes! This is when everything begins. The story is filled with non-stop action, plenty of drama, intrigue, danger, sizzling sexual tension, gripping suspense, humor, unexpected twists and of course romance. If you enjoy an exciting, fast-paced romance then “Flint” is for you. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy ofthis book.
A young woman running for her life trying to find a group that her father told her to search out for redemption of his murder.
Chloe Parris’ father has been murdered and his last words to her before he died was “find the Knuckleheads”. She had to flee her home anyways because the men who took out her father are now after her. Big corporation men are hunting her down.
Flint Frasier is he front man for the Knucklehead Garage, a real-life TV show of a crew who repair and build motorcycles. He used to be a member of the Knuckleheads MC but after a windfall he decided to leave and open his dream garage. After ten years of this he’s in a rut.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was action packed and had some steamy sex scenes. The plot was a story that was real-life and seemed to be taken from the news. It was action packed, intense and fun to read.
I give this book a 4.5-star review. I recommend this book for anyone who likes to read suspense, MC, romance, and characters who aren’t afraid to do the right thing.
Even though 'romance' is in the title, I found this book to be more of a suspenseful story than a romance. Yes, Flint and Chloe find each other and fall in love but that was almost a sideline to the main story. Fighting corporate America and protecting the environment is the main story here. Character development is good. Even the secondary characters were set up nicely. I loved the rest of the 'club" but especially Fats. He is just so quirky and honest. He was very refreshing. Scenery description was terrific. Sex scenes were hot. Writing is easy to read and follow. This is the second story from this series I have read. When Flint recollects his days with the original Knuckleheads I found it to not really match the impression I had of the original club. He recollects it a a good group of guys who were out to right some wrongs. But the impression I had from the other book was they were a bunch of hardcore bikers who took what they wanted and didn't care if it was right or wrong. Other than that, I did enjoy the story and characters. And it ended with a surprise HEA.
If you every wondered what the bad boy mechanics portrayed on Reality TV, this book will give you great insight into how Flint became a TV Star. Not your typical MC Romance where there are rival clubs trying to take each other out. But, the hero main character is still forced into action to save the damsel in distress who in this case happens to be Chloe Parris who is the daughter of one of the founding members of the Knuckleheads. I loved that the "new" rag tag, but GORGOUS (ok, maybe not all the guys, sorry Horse) Knuckleheads who were recruited for the TV show still showed the spunk and loyalty of the founding members. I was happy to see some familiar friends, Trapper and Layna who showed up to help and got to see what they have been doing since his book. Do yourself a favor and get this book, you won't regret it.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Chloe Parris lost her father, he was murdered. With his last words, her father told her to find the Knuckleheads MC. Flint Frasier is the star of the hit reality TV show Knuckleheads Garage. Chloe shows up and tells him that she needs his help to save the ranch that was her father's dream. Even though the original Knuckleheads MC no longer exists, he and his co-stars will join Chloe in an effort to bring down OilMerica, the corporation responsible for her father's death. Wow, Chloe and Flint are sizzling hot, sexy, and well written characters that are brought together by unusual circumstances and each will find the love of their life. I thought this was an exciting, action packed and erotic read with plenty of violence and suspense. Fantastic book, I loved it!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and nonincentivized review of this ARC.
this book was great! i loved that is wasnt all "sons of anarchy". Chloe was the type of girl that knew what she wanted and wasnt going to hide behind the men. She was firm and a loud mouth in all the right ways. and Flint was the perfect knight in shinning armor. Dropping what he had going on to help out Chloe and find her father's killer. This book showcased alot of the respect issues that go on in the MC world and it also showed that family is just as important as respect. Glad i got the ARC for this book will definietly be purchasing it
When Chloe's dad is murdered, his last words to her are "Find the Knuckleheads, they'll make it right." She knows that's the name of his old biker gang, but she has no idea how to find them. What she does know is there's a TV show called Knucklehead Garage, so she heads to where it's being filmed with the hope that they can point her in the right direction. What she finds is a bunch of hungover guys with no idea how to find them either. Not what she was hoping for. Will she find help before the people who murdered her father find her?
I’ve followed the Knuckleheads MC from the very beginning...and Flint is another awesome chapter in the lives of the original members. This book was like a coming of age novel, or passing the baton from the old crew to the new. Regardless of how you view it, Flint has a kickass storyline; some great characters; an ever-changing plot with twists and turns that keep you flipping those pages; and one helluva HEA. Sign me up for the next! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and loved every minute of it!) ❤️❤️
I am voluntarily and honestly reviewing an Advance Reader Copy of this book I received from Hidden Gems. What a sexy, fun addition to the Knuckleheads MC stories!! Flint and Chloe are well characters. the story was interesting, and these two had amazing chemistry. This book had twists, turns, a peek at some old friends, and new additions to the Knuckleheads. I hated the whole "Queen Bee/Bertha" crap. It was unneeded and added nothing to the story....lost a star, but a solid 4.
This story is mostly boring. It has just been done over and over again. It's predictable and bland at best. The main female character is in love with Flint even though they have know each other 20 minutes. It lacks in character build up and setting up the romance between the two main characters. Will not be reading any other books from this series. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
Her father is killed by a company trying to get his land. He sends her to his old motorcycle group before he dies. She finds him. He was part of that group but has an altogether different life now. But gets the old group together to fight that company and protect her. But in the meantime they develop a relationship. It is suspenseful, exciting, emotional, dramatic, sweet and hot. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
If you read other books by the author than you know what to expect. Action from the very beginning. You know how when your man wants to watch a movie (totally an action pack movie) but you of course want a romcom, well it was combined and put into a book. (Maybe a little less com but still there 😉) Plus you get to see characters from other books again. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The book blurb is pretty accurate. Chloe's father was once a member of the now disbanded Knuckleheads MC. Murdered by gunmen for an oil company, his last words to her are to find the Knuckleheads; but the only Knuckleheads left are Flint, a former member of the MC, and his friends/employees, who are stars of a reality television series. When feisty Chloe shows up at his door trouble is right behind her - literally. On the run with Chloe and his mostly untried friends, Flint feels alive in a way he hasn't for a very long time and the more time he spends with Chloe, the more he falls for her. Can this motley crew of reality stars and an angry young woman take on a corrupt oil company and win?
This book is an entertaining mix of action and steamy romance. I liked the characters and the story held my interest. It's a solid 4 star read for me.
Flint found his happiness after he left the Knuckleheads behind. That is until he meets Chloe and makes him feel deep down something he's never felt. Will he be able to help her? Will he find what makes him happy again? Exciting and full of emotion that will you not be able to stop until the end!
I loved this book. I was given the opportunity to read this book by Simone Scarlet as an ARC and I was so glad I got a chance to read it - I actually got a full copy too! I absolutely love Simone Scarlet's writing. Flint had action, romance and hot, hot sex. What a wonderful, thrilling ride she wrote. I can't read to more of this series.
This is my favourite book I have read in a while. It reminds me of an updated version of the old 'everyday person underdogs' (in this case, intelligent, resourceful and hot underdogs) vs Big Business movies (but without the cheese factor of some examples of the genre). I look forward to more books about these characters. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.
This is not your typical MC club. There is about a group of men who are on a TV show of fixing and motorcycles. The leader was part of the original Knuckleheads but the other guys are mechanics. This book had good steamy scenes and a good storyline.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
This is the first book I have read by Simone Scarlet. This had good characters and storyline. Flint and Chloe are attracted to one another from the start but they are determined to complete their tasks. This does have a good ending to the book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I enjoyed Flint and Chloe’s story. It was filled with lots of drama as Flint and his crew decided to help Chloe stay alive. I enjoyed the chemistry between Flint and Chloe. How the story ended was a great way for it to end as it had enough that I felt closure but just enough of an opening for a future story between Flint, Chloe and his crew.
ARC review, pacing was good, story line was interesting. There's a few threads that seemed to go nowhere even though they had a lot of build up. The overall resolution makes sense, but the ending seemed abrupt.
This is a good, well written romance. The storyline is fast-paced, action-packed with over the top chemistry which all started with the intent of revenge.
I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review
Chloe and Flint are perfect partners that only meet as she looked for the Knuckleheads MC. There are lots of tension and bad guys to make you keep reading. The sex is steamy and suggestive. Loved this pair and the writing is great
How can a woman not fall in love when a hot biker steps up to save her life and help get revenge for her father. Flint will get your engine revving up. Great book. Love it.
