My favourite books in a complete story...wow just wow...with extra scenes too...definitely worth the money!
Here are my reviews for each of the original separate stories.
**Reunion**
A much anticipated release, a deviation from this authors usual writing works, but despite that it was simply her best work to date.
It had many elements that I love in a story, M/M and a really good second chance love story to boot and I was excited to meet both Ryan & Nico, and now I have I'm just as excited for you to meet them as well.
These boys, and yes I have adopted them as mine, and yes I will fight you for them, have worked their way into my head and into my heart with their love, friendship and their passion.
They haven't had it easy and nor I suspect will they have it easy in the future but this book finds you rooting for them both, that is quite unusual because often you find one of the two characters in which you prefer, especially when one had no control over what happened many years ago, and one quite frankly did....but not this time....I understood both and I want both to find peace and happiness together.
A novella in its length but so much more in its content, it read like a complete novel, it had sadness, anger, forgiveness, love and really really hot sex, and that freaking ending, I mean really what the actual heck J J Harper!
So please give it a chance, even if MM is not your usual genre, because like me and many others, you will be taken with both these boys and you will need to see where the next instalment takes them and you will absolutely want to know who or what has you gasping at the end of the book.
So Thankyou J J Harper for bringing the boys to us all, and hurry up with the next book but in the meantime you deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hot and dirty stars
**Reunited**
So after the WTH moment at the end of Reunion, Reunited begins with us finding out who exactly is Marcus's husband is and of course it's a doozy, this in turn sets us up nicely for what is a roller coaster ride in true Ryan & Nico style.
The boys are trying to come to terms with if you like being back together and in love, this however doesn't protect either one of them from the insecurities, the regret and the harsh reality that one was left behind and one was perhaps forced to leave 10 years earlier.
This book was about forgiveness, true love and hope and the boys played it beautifully with the help of amazing J J Harper of course!
The side characters played a part too, we get to see Mason again (Rising Up, also by JJ), we hear from Troy, and yes I'm desperate for more from him and also the baddies play a part too but you need to read to see what happens there and with who.
A fantastic follow up to Reunion, very often a middle book of a trilogy can be a 'filler book' but not here, it was full of love, hot scenes (oh yes, handcuffs!), a smattering of angst and another WTH moment, but never fear the boys can't live without each other so I have faith and will be holding my breath for the final instalment of this beautiful series.
But....I'm not sure how I'll live without them when it's all over....
**Elysium**
So here we have the finale to Ryan & Nico's story, I was dreading it and excited for it in equal measure. Excited to be back with the boys but also sad that it was their final book.
We continue the journey with the boys back to Nico's hometown, to begin their life together, to find their well deserved and definitely long awaited HEA.
The journey was not without its setbacks, not without the gut churning moments and difficult decisions that would test the boys and their love for each other to the maximum.
There were moments of indecision, a lot of love and laughter, plentiful scorching hot sex, and moments of worry and heartache, did I ever doubt their love for each other? Not for for single moment and that for me was what makes this final book superb, it stayed true to the characters and how we have come to know both Ryan & Nico's characters...they loved each other hard and they loved each other completely.
J J Harper has managed to weave a beautiful tale of second chance love, from Reunion to Reunited and now the final piece of the story Elysium, she has taken us on a journey, it's not always been easy but boy has it been worth it.
So please read this series and find your own piece of Elysium...it's really worth your time.
Oh and that ending, I like to think JJ Harper did that just for me but it was always how it was meant to be for those beautiful boys....Happy smile right here.

I received this book as a gift and looking forward to read it. It was my first book of JJ Harper and was not disappointed. It tells the story of a childhood love gone awry. Of a boy Nico, who has lost his heart to his schoolfriend, but when he tells his parents after prom night, gets kicked out and left on the streets. He falls into the wrong hands but gets rescued by an older man and ends up on the cover of a health magazine. He now is rich and famous, but his heart still beats for the one he left behind. Ryan never knew why his boyfriend left him. He searched for many years, but it seemed Nico had disappeared from earth. He is left heartbroken and joins the army. There he sees and has to do things he never can forget. After he is finished he returns home and becomes a cop hoping one day Nico will return to him. Then his school reunion comes up. Will Nico come and if he does, will he still have feelings for Ryan? It will take a lot of hard emotions and battles with their pasts to fall back into their love for eachother. It is a lovely story and full of steamy encounters (sometimes a bit too much of it).
I learned that Josh, Nico's best friend, has his own story and one I now want to read as well.

oohhhh. so epic
I am so glad this series was available in one epic book. I cannot imagine having to have waited for each individual story… That being said JJ Harper is a new author to me and I have devoured her books in the last few days. It started with Bar 28 and went from there.
Niko and Ryan held up all of my expectations. Steamy oh so steamy…the guys literallly can’t keep their hands or mouths to themselves 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. And the story was beautiful. Beautiful men with horrible pasts come back together to get their well-deserved and epic HEA.
Just as a warning to other readers there are definite scenes of abuse and assault, rape and mental health issues … it is VERY intense but done in a very tasteful way as much as can be expected or possible. I honestly found that they helped build both characters well

Beautiful
The most amazing thing throughout this story was their love for each and how sure and steadfast they were. Life, trials and tribulations and just stuff came their way but their surety was in their feelings for each other. Just a beautiful story. Thoroughly enjoyed this. This is my first book by this author. It was recommended to me on goodreads and it was definitely a winner.

Very heart warming...
This was a really great series, I enjoyed all three books. Finding after ten long years apart, and leaving each other heart broken, their love was still strong. This was one heart warming story, and I'm glad I had the chance to read it. Love can be very strong and powerful, no matter how long you are apart, their story prove it.

Stunning
This book is a painful yet beautiful read. Two men who get a second chance after a decade apart. They have their struggles but the don’t let go once they have each other in their arms again. Ryan and Nico certainly deserve their HEA.

Beautiful incredible moving powerful and emotional
Reunion the complete story was incredible and beautiful
Having Ryan and nicos journey in one full story was incredible I felt everything they were going through ups downs laughter tears intensity heartbreaking and heart warming moments uncertainty was perfect and we get a bonus with some extra chapters at the end made nico and ryans journey more perfect
Every word is powerful meaningful moving beautiful and incredible
I fell in love with Ryan and nico all over again

Loved It the first time I read the books when they were first out separately & loved them more second time around. The extra chapters at the end are the best! My heart will always have Ryan & Nico in there, I love them so much! Their story is beautiful & heartbreaking but a true test to how much they love each other. A Must Read!
