Maggie Listen, I might be the daughter of hippies, and maybe I’m a bit of a free spirit, but being on the run and giving up my home and my career and everything I love, is a bit too much for even me. So, throw in a near-death experience, and you can totally understand why I would have a moment of insanity and sleep with the ridiculously hot cop who’d pushed all of my buttons not two hours earlier. One night of madness is understandable but now… now, I’m not only being welcomed into the small-town life, but my attraction to one arrogant and oh-so-delicious cop is threatening to override all of my common sense. Officer Wyatt Reynolds might be the hottest cop I’ve ever met, and maybe being handcuffed to his bed wouldn’t be the worst thing to ever happen to me, but I’m playing a dangerous game. Staying here, allowing myself to fall for Wyatt, isn’t just a terrible idea. It’s a dangerous one. Wyatt There isn’t anything wrong with order and control. A well-organized sock drawer is the sign of a well-organized mind, right? Being a cop is all I’ve ever wanted and - believe me – I know trouble when I see it. Which is why I ignored my immediate attraction to the stranger I pulled over for a broken tail light. Sure, Maggie Blossom might be the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, and her sexy-as-hell voice might have me fantasizing about having her in my bed in handcuffs, but she’s trouble with a capital T. Still, it doesn’t stop me from making her mine for one hot tantalizing night. Only one night isn’t enough for me. Maggie and I might be oil and water, but she’s making herself at home in my small town and my heart, and I couldn’t be happier. But will the secrets she’s keeping, stop me from claiming her as mine? Author’s This is the eighth in a series of stand-alone short and dirty (So.Very.Dirty.) novellas. You do not need to read the first seven stories to enjoy this one. If you’re looking for quick, one-handed (ahem) reads with insta-love, over-the-top alpha, blue-collar men then the trope-alicious Working Men series is for you!

I don't know what or who told Ramona that falling in love with a stranger within 24hours is a great storyline but then, this was quick to finish even though it's unrealistic
I am such a fan of this series. The romance genre is full of billionaires, and while they can be sexy, in the real world, they are few and far between. The Working Men series imagines men and women in much more typical jobs who happen to meet, fall in love, and have amazing sex...not often in that order.
This is the only book in the series so far that was a little too jam-packed for the length. In this series, Ramona G. usually features characters who have history, so we're popping into the middle of their story, just when all the hot sex and falling in love is about to happen.
Maggie and Wyatt have fantastic chemistry, and the sex is SO hot. RG writes my favorite sex scenes, by far. The book being shorter than I wanted is not a complaint so much as a "I like these characters a whole lot and would have enjoyed seeing more of them" issue. Absolutely worth the read and, of course, previous characters make an appearance, since this is a world Gray is building.
Oh, and the preview for "The Paramedic"? I am SO here for it.
The workingman series is an amazing read by Ramona Gray. This series is only getting better with each story. This is about The Cop, Wyatt and Maggie who is on the run. The spark is ignited when Wyatt pulled Magnolia Blossom over for traffic infraction. And the attraction does blossom!! I love a small town romance, and this doesn’t disappoint, a strong alpha, a woman on the lam and the attraction that they try to fight, only makes it more interesting. I only wish that these stories were longer. Looking forward to the next installment in the series, The Paramedic. I received an ARC for an honest review.
This book is part of a series and more enjoyable with the background information in the previous books, but can be read as a stand-alone. Maggie and Wyatt burnt bright from the very beginning. This sexy romance has lots of sex with some that could be considered very light bdsm and suspense that will keep you guessing until the last page. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well and felt they truly enhanced the story building. Natalia and Nana were my favorites. If you are looking for a quick, steamy read that will keep you guessing than I recommend this book for you.

I can't get enough of this series! I absolutely adored this couple, Maggie and Wyatt are perfect together. This book had everything I love about reading, just the right amount of drama, sexy time and feel good moments!! There was one part where I was lol about a story Maggie told from when she was in college!! OMG the poor girl!! I can't wait for Matt and Natalia story but I will be sad to see this series end!! I received this book as an ARC for an honest review!
Ramona Gray delivers a great read once again with her latest installment in her Working Men series. The Cop is about a hot alpha deputy, Wyatt and Maggie, a lawyer with a secret. Maggie ends up in the small town where Wyatt lives and even tho she tries to fight her attraction to him it is kind of pointless. Their chemistry is on fire and undeniable. It is a fun sweet and sexy read.
I started with this one then went back to read from the beginning. I'm a little bit in love with the idea of an officer asking me out after pulling me over. Ok a I fibbed. That's one of my fantasies. So when I read about it I ...... <3
Enjoyed this one. Good storyline. Liked the characters. She really needs to stop ending her books so abruptly. If she did that and added an epilogue this would have been 5 stars for me.
Another wonderful short story from Ramona, Wyatt is a lovable character in his standoffish dominant way, Maggie is relatable and easy to warm to. I really enjoy these short stories, you dip your toe in, you get the build up and then the HEA, and interspersed is the steamy sex. Perfect. What more could you want? I also like how you can read any of these working men titles alone but also you get a sense of community when read together. Great value
