I read 2/3 of his book and and putting it down. I think the idea of the book is good but it is so disjointed and poorly written I'm just not going to finish. Great concepts mixed with a strange story, I just can't get into it. I hope it ends well and wish I had more time to invest but I'm going to stop reading. Lots of editing needs to happen...
I liked some of the spiritual teachings on how to live a moral, ethical, faithful life... but the story with all the religions trying to be crammed in was odd.. and all the dramatic events piled together was too much.. and the fiancé was a jerk, so I hope the story ends well. H should have communicated BEFORE the graduation that he wouldn't be there... not just to not show up for Gus future wife, but then show up for her friends release from the hospital? He was creepy..
Last of all, why wouldn't they spell GOD or LORD out in the book? Also strange.
Bottom line, weird story with token ethnic characters thrown in with every religion represented and random religious comments thrown in between the chapters which breaks up the story inconsistently.
