Dark Blossom begins with a tragedy. Sam has been away on a business trip and returns home to find his world torn apart. He seeks help from a therapist, Cynthia, who has her own share of difficulties with an ex-husband.

Cynthia is tasked with helping Sam with his grief, but she’s having a hard time with her own emotions. She is going through a divorce, and her daughter, Lily, is keeping her distance.

Overall, Dark Blossom is a slim emotional thriller that packs a punch. Like its title denotes, it is most definitely dark in unexpected ways, and the ending took me by complete surprise. An engaging and worthwhile read.

I received a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

The starting 20-40% of the book didn't make sense.

The ending was fulfilling, however could have been better.

Dark Blossom is a suspense novel with a beautiful cover & a catchy title. At first, you might think, why the cover designer has not adjusted the book title to fit in one line! But as you proceed, you realize that’s how life is. It doesn’t matter how much you try to control & put it in a 5X7 frame, it goes haywire with every passing day, month & year.

But these imperfections & uncertainties are what makes our life more beautiful & worth living.

So, this imperfect cover holds a perfect suspense story I read in recent time. It seems like a normal chronicle of a patient & his therapist but it prettily unfolds the mystery that hides within the characters. Author’s description & detailing of the characters & events keep the adrenaline flowing and you cannot help but take them with you to bed at night.

Opening Lines: When Sam had called to schedule a session for the first time, his anger had been palpable.

Page Count: 224 pages

Publisher: Rupa Publications

Publication Date: December 20th, 2018

Neel Mullick’s storytelling is smooth & makes this novel a fast read. He uses some very fancy words to describe the simplest of things, creating a fun learning experience for the readers. He does justice while describing the dilemma of working women, struggle of an abused child & pain of a bereaved dad. The suspense unveils (what you think is suspense) slowly as you try to guess the plot that the author is trying to create. You realize soon that you are not Sherlock and failed miserably in discovering the plot… What seemed to be a fight to resurface after a drowning experience of the past ends with suspense that will unveil only after Neel decides to write the sequel.

Though this novel left me sleepless, it earned Neel a 5 star. His novel is a sweet (touches your heart), small(short), red & white piece of beautiful creation just like the Sweet Williams 😉

One more good thing is that the author is giving you a chance to spout off your take on the suspense by entering into a contest that may lead you to a trip to New York or an IPad mini. So happy read guys…

My Rating: 5/5 stars

Sam has just lost his son and his wife in a terrible accident. He is angry, sad, confused, depressed and above all just lost. Cynthia is going through a rough phase in her life. After getting separated from her husband the only family left with her is her daughter Lily. But Lily is not ready to open upto her mother yet. Cynthia is Sam's therapist. What happens when their world collides? Will she be able to help Sam overcome his grief when her own life is upside down? In the midst of it all Lily's secret can ruin their lives forever.

Review-

The story is gripping, entertaining and emotional. There is a new twist everytime when the story gets predictable. I thought I sort of guess the end, but oh boy! I was so wrong. The end was shocking, and a true master mind kind of story telling.

The characters of the book are very well planned. Each character has their own significance which you get to know only at the end.

At no point the story gets dragged or boring. Each scene was very thoughtful which you get to know only when you read the whole book.

Emotions of every character just grips you. At times you feel irritated the way Lily treats her mother but you understand her because she was just a teen and going through a lot. You can feel the loss of Sam and his anger. Cynthia is the anchor of both. And her emotional turmoil is the worst.

There are so many hints beautifully hidden in the story. But still at the end you are left with so many questions. I love such stories because then every reader can have their own ending. But I desperately hope that author has planned a sequel. I really want to read so much more about the characters.

Very few books have left me restless and dumbfounded, this book was definitely one of them.

Definitely looking forward to more books from the author.

Sam tragically loses his wife and son in a car crash. Nearly 7 months later, still afflicted by his grief over the loss and rage at the unknowns surrounding the accident, he seeks help from a grief therapist, Cynthia. The story is told through Cynthia, who is enduring her own challenges after an abusive marriage and a daughter, Lily, who has distanced herself.

The stories of Cynthia, Lily and Sam intersect and intertwine. A feeling of foreboding skims the surface and kept me turning the pages even though the writing felt lackluster and too conversational for my particular tastes. I feel this novel would have been best shared in a different format - perhaps through diary entries and therapy notes written by Cynthia. That being said, there were unexpected twists and the feeling behind the story was authentic.

Mental Health is a crucial topic to discuss yet we seldom pay attention to its gravity. We never try to look beyond the seemingly 'normal' things and this causes severe damage in the long run. We run away from the responsibility of seeing into the depths because, perhaps, we are too scared to acknowledge our dormant fears lying in the hiding!

Dark Blossom is a well-written thriller that piques your interest gradually and then takes you on the roller coaster ride of exhilarating emotions. Packed with secrets and suspense, this book is fantastic in the way it is developed. Right things at right places and that make it a stupendous read!

In the beginning, it is little difficult to grasp the backdrop of the novel but it takes its sweet little time to hold the reins of your mind. Cynthia is a psychiatrist who is back to her practice after a period of hiatus owing to her personal turmoil. She meets Sam who is grappling with mental and emotional issues because his life has been turned upside down with the sudden demise of his wife and son. This incident has taken the better of him and keeps challenging his peace of mind. Cynthia who is already struggling to break the ice with her daughter Lily helps Sam in overcoming his anger issues. There are secrets resting with Lily and they linger through the book and form the backbone of this book. It is these secrets lurking which make for the interesting turn of events which completely take the reader off guard as they unfold themselves.

Love is a prime emotion that tucks our heart to the other. It is fragile and yet the strongest power to bind the two people. And when it is abused by the anger, it transforms dramatically into hatred and pain. Lily has been the victim of a torturous childhood and so has been Cynthia due to her monstrous husband. When he finally walks out of their lives, the mother-daughter duo finds it hard to come together. Their relationship is put to test of time. Would they be able to win it? Would Sam be able to come alive from the graves of his nightmares? How the three lives intertwined will present themselves through the course of the story is bewildering.

The smooth narrative and amazing language add further to the reading experience of the reader. The characterization has been put very well. The development of the plot is meticulous and crisp. It made the story gripping and engaging. The dialogues between the characters, their mindset is nice to witness. The fact that the book delves deeply into the realms of the human mind and relationships is lovely. I guess I am still in awe of the whole presentation. It surprised and it stoked my imagination.

Moreover, the cover is beautiful. Should you see it and not pick the book, I will judge you. Just go for this book and I promise, you would love it completely!

The story starts off with Cynthia, a therapist, waiting for her patient named Sam, a young and charming man, who has lost his wife and son in a car accident. He was not able to cope with the situation, thus he decided to seek help from Cynthia. She didn't take much time to understand what he has been going through, and how grief has taken a physical toll on his body. Although there’s no easy fix for getting over this loss, but Cynthia tried her best to console him, and helped him in moving on with his life.
On the other hand, Cynthia was herself trying to cope with divorce. Also, her daughter, Lily, is hiding something from her, something that can change their lives forever, if revealed. What is the secret? Will Cynthia find out? Will Sam be able to cope with his loss? Read the book and find the answers yourself.

When it comes to Indian writing, I am seeing a particular trend on the rise – talking about the mental health or psychological issues that are very common these days. Some authors overdo it but some do it in just the right way. Neel Mullick is one of the few who got it right.

I liked this book. Mr. Mullick does write a book that draws on human emotion. Yet, I felt the emotion but not as strongly as I wanted. In fact, as I was reading this book, I craved to be wrapped up tightly with the emotions that Sam, Cynthia and her daughter, Lily experienced.

Sam may have went to Cynthia for help but she gained a lot from Sam as well. She may not have "physically" lost her family but she had "emotionally" lost her daughter. Through her relationship helping Sam; she was able to repair and rebuild her relationship with her daughter. Sam found a fresh start as well. He learned that it was ok to move on and still live his life after the tragic lost of his family.

In a way, this book kind of had a poetic vibe to it. It was lovely. This is why I was saddened that I did not enjoy this book more. Mr. Mullick is a storyteller. I would invite readers to check out this book.

Mental health is the most important part of the human body and this book deals with it in the most realistic manner.
Cyanthia and Sam are a doctor-patient duo. Sam is under therapy and slow progressing towards a healthy life.
The story is dark with a pinch of thriller. The language is easy with hints of some new and good words. The author has narrated well, his ideas and experiences about mental health issues.
The plot has a good flow with a great flow and good characterization.
Initally i thought the cover of the book is not well made, but actually it goes very well with the book. (it was intentional)
Overall, a great book.

I think every story has its own readers. If there is a story with a state, region or city in focus,(like Corbett who has written a lot on Uttarakhand)it doesn't connect to other audiences. This seperates classics from others. This is the problem of this book. The story is set in New York and doesn't always connect to me.Technically speaking,I found the end fantastic, choice of words appropriate but the editing was average.
Basically I only picked the book as the sales would be used for charity. So I would award three stars to this work.

The story and characters were fine, good even.

Unfortunately I didn’t care for the writing. The word choices were odd. It almost felt like I was reading a student essay where they have a thesaurus and use it way too much! The dialogue and inner monologue were strange and not realistic due to this trumped up vocabulary.

Please give this a chance as it might be for you, I just prefer a more straightforward writing style.

I had heard alot of appreciation about this book and since than this book was on my TBR. I am honestly very happy to read this book since it was really gripping and it shares with a reader about a life of a normal person, the day to day real life experiences, the pain that one actually suffers and how it is overcome with time.

This story is about two people who are sailing in different boats but at the same direction. Cynthia who had an abusive relationship with her husband and who longed for a friendship with her daughter more than being just a mother was a psychiatrist. She seemed really strong on the surface however she only kept afloat to the surface while she was really sinking inside. Her first patient Sam had suffered the loss of his loved ones in an accident and couldn’t lead to a stage of acceptance. The book is at a good pace till the time Sam settles into a more acceptable stage that it was an accident and his wife and son arent going to come back and neither was to blame for it. Once the secrets of Lily, Cynthia’s daughter are spilled about her abusive relationship with her father and also with her ex boyfriend, the story takes a fast pace but an amazing one.

Truly the end will leave you aghast, it will make you question yourself the possibility. The end is truly a surprise package of this book and it makes worth all the reading.

I would rate this a 4🌟

📌BOOK REVIEW
🥀Dark Blossoms by Neel Mullick
.
.
🥀Every now and then I tend to dive into the genre of thriller to cut the monotony of drama and classics. So if I decide to pick up a thriller, a rare affair, I have high expectations from it. Dark Blossom justified my expectations but only up to a certain extent.
.
.
🥀The book tries to be to-the-point but at a few places it inadvertently derails. Except for the first few pages where the monotony bug is going to itch you, the book is decently paced. The best part of the book is its simplicity. There aren’t many characters in the book and the ones in there are well rounded. The story revolves around three major characters – Sam, the psychotic and hysterical protagonist, his therapist Cynthia and her daughter Lily – who have a history of their own.
.
.
🥀As the story unfolds, the readers slowly realize that the author has moved way beyond the skill of storytelling to analyzing human psyche. The emotional pain afflicted on a person through loss is undeniable. The narration is close to exemplary minus a few instances where I felt more life could be pumped into the storyline through dialogues and fewer descriptions. The major highlight for me was how the story has been beautifully fabricated through interrelated events. The book was a no-confusion for me, despite the sophisticated style of writing the author has managed to preserve the simplicity of storytelling, a major void in today’s literature.

COVER PAGE

The cover page of the book Dark Blossom is very beautiful and subtle. When I got the book in my hands, I was very much curious to know what it holds. The cover page is very attractive with beautiful image of dark cherry blossom flowers and the title of the book is not in the same line rather in different lines. The colours used in the cover page are very gentle. I really liked it a lot.

REVIEW

There are few books that satisfies a reader to a great extent and for me, Dark Blossom by Neel Mullick is one of them. Being a psychology student, I really like to read about mental health that too which are written in a delicate manner and which involve me in the story taking me away from the surroundings and Dark Blossom did it. When, I got this book in my hands I was very much curious to know what this beauty holds for me. When I finished reading this book, I took a deep breath because I was not able to come out of the story and I really didn't want it to get over.

Dark Blossom revolves around Sam who was on a trip and was returning back from his work just before his son's 13th birthday, when he heard a devastating news that shook him. While, on the other hand, was Cynthia, who was an experienced therapist and was trying to cope with her divorce and trying hard to mend her relationship with her daughter. And, then one day Sam met Cynthia which changed their lives.

Dark Blossom is a book which explores different emotions. It is an overwhelming read and I was blown away with the first chapter itself. The plot of the book is very engaging which made me hook to the book till the end. A lot of different feelings evoked while I was reading it. The story moves a bit slow in the initial chapters just to build it up and then it is fast paced and a very gripping tale. It holds a lot of suspense. I really liked that the author addressed the sensitive issues of mental health, child abuse so efficiently. It amazingly covers the themes of mental health and human relationships.

It is a beautifully penned down book in a fluent and a lucid way. The writing style of the author prominently made me dive into the book and it made my feel the plight of each and every character. The author has very greatly described the various events which took place in the book in a very delicate manner and the intensity of the words is so much that it touched my heart directly. There are not many characters in the book. It revolves around Cynthia, Sam and Lily at a great extent and I loved the character of Cynthia which had very different shades and how hard she was trying to mend her relationship with her daughter. The relationship between Sam and Lily was a bliss to read. The characters are very well crafted.

Overall, it is a very well written, heart touching and an overwhelming read. I am glad that I got a chance to read this marvellous work of fiction which is so realistic in nature and talks about mental health. The title of the book is justified as each character in the story holds darkness within themselves. This book has secured a special place in my heart and I got to learn a lot from it. I would highly recommend this book to everyone.

Sam seeks the help of Cynthia, a therapist to overcome the grief of losing his family in a car accident. Cynthia on the other hand, too, is coping with her frustrated marriage and recent divorce. Now, all she wants is to keep her daughter Lily safe from her ex-husband and move on in life. Moreover, there are things which Lily has kept from her mother and is not ready to share with her.
‘Dark Blossom’ is all about how Cynthia treats Sam to move on along with her own troubled life. Meanwhile, her daughter shares her secrets which might affect the life of Sam and Cynthia and their relationships.
Well, talking about how I felt about the book, the plot is just fine, not as exciting as blurb offers in its convincing words. The story moves moderately, though I was intrigued during the middle part of the book to know about the most talked secret, but, when it did reveal, I was like, ‘this is not what I was waiting for anxiously’.
However, the writing is good and one would love to read in the flow. The characters fit in but appeared weak and incomplete to me. Moreover, I’ve my doubts about the choice of the title for this plot. I didn’t find the book dark or emotionally draining or delving deep in the psyche of a person. Rather, it misses the parts which promise a good thriller or a dark book.
For me, Dark Blossom is an average and one-time read. While readers could have a different view on it.

Dark Blossom is about an horrific tragedy…..Sam’s life was torn apart after the death of his wife and beloved son William in car accident.

He had been away on a business trip and returns to the police telling him of their death…. broken, he finally seeks help from a therapist.

Cynthia, the therapist, has her own issues, after a divorce from a ‘difficult’ husband and worries about her relationship with her daughter Lily.

While this is a relatively short novel, it packs an incredible amount of emotion and tension in its pages…..will Sam, Cynthia and Lily find hope and light together…..or are there still secrets to be unveiled?

Stunning, haunting writing by Neel Mullick packed with emotion right up to the gasp inducing ending…..brilliant.

Thank you to Anne Cater and Random Things Tours for the opportunity to participate in this blog tour and for the promotional materials and a free copy of the ebook. This my honest and unbiased review.

I picked this book because the title got me intrigued. From the first page itself, I found myself lost into Sam's world which I have to say is not an easy place to be. No matter how emotional his story made me feel, the story didn't allow me to detach myself and I kept on wanting to know more, feel more of Sam's pain. Sam is struggling with the loss of his son and wife who died in a road accident and he is going through the worst phase of his life. He acknowledges that he suffering from depression and seeks the help of Cynthia, an experienced therapist. She deal with him with a great deal of sensitivity and balance. She prepares herself everyday for sessions and handles their every conversation with utmost sensitivity. Cynthia in her personal life is going through a difficult life with her daughter Lily and struggling to make peace with her past. But all this doesnt affect her professional life , where she deals with his moods and actions but patiently deal with her patient. I would say Cynthia proves to be the right therapist who put her everything in bringing him out from depression. During the course of the book, I witnessed Sam's transformation. In the midst of it all is Lily, Cynthia's daughter, who harbours a secret that has the power to explode the lives around her. To know what that secret is, you'll have to read this book.

This book is so well-written and expressed. Author has described Sam's feelings in the most honest and acute way possible. I am in love with his writing. I am definitely waiting for more books from him.

RATING:
This book deserves 5 stars. I'd really recommend this book to everyone.

When I first saw the cover and read the blurb of Dark Blossom, I knew I had to read the book to find out more. Although the summary provided me with a vague idea as to what the story would be like, I was pleasantly surprised at some unexpected turns which it took and that always makes me satisfied because predictability gets boring sometimes.

Written by author Neel Mullick who contributes to and works towards various social causes, Dark Blossom is the story of Sam, who loses his beloved family in an accident and Cynthia, who, as a therapist, helps Sam cope with his huge loss and she is also the mother of punk-inspired teenager, Lucy. Sam, Cynthia, Lucy and Sam's son, Will are the most important characters in this story and the way in which their lives are intertwined is described fetchingly by the author who opts for a classic, slow burn and super effective way to describe the progress of each relationship.

While the reader follows Cynthia's narration in the first person point of view, one still gets to know the other characters really well. For a book that's around 200 pages long (or short- depending on how you look at it), the story spans over the period of 18 months. Because of the short length of chapters, Dark Blossom truly was unputdownable. While I did read the book with long pauses, it never felt to me like I had left the story once I got back to it. I found this story to be rather magical and satisfying.

Dark Blossom- as the name aptly suggests- is a dark read in terms of suffering and coping, but it's also accompanied terrifically by the very positive and hopeful blossoming of both relationships and the individual involved in them. While I did have some issues with the way it ended, the journey itself was relishing. If human emotions, feelings and minds interest you even the slightest, I would suggest you pick up this book ASAP!

People grieve differently. There is no one right way to grieve. The death of someone you love is one of the most traumatic events in one’s life, specially if it was unexpected and the protoganist Sam is experiencing similar situation.

The book starts with Sam being introduced to Cynthia on the other hand Cynthia has just restarted her counselling practice after a short break. The story then unfolds about Cynthia, who is also going through some difficulties and her broken relationships with her daughter Lilly.

As the story progress, Cynthia feels like even she's sailing in the same boat as Sam's later, James comes into the picture and helps Cynthia to travel in the right direction. Will Sam ever able to find the answers that he's been looking for? Will he ever to cope up with the loss? On the other hand will Cynthia makes things right with her daughter? Can Sam help Cynthia to overcome her difficulties? Is the rest of the crux.

Right from the cover page this book has something appealing, Dark Blossom is both emotional and poignant, and one that readers can easily get caught up in. The characters of Sam and Cynthia are so well built, that so much depth is added to the story.

The writing is exceptional as it binds the reader till the end. I couldn’t put the book down from the moment I started reading it. The story is incredible in itself and Neel's narration did absolute justice to it, full of genuine emotions; fear, sadness, happiness, you can feel every moment.

Overall, Dark Blossom is quick paced, heart wrenching, exceptionally real, and as we connect with the characters they leave us with real emotional marks afterwards and the open end climax haunts even more. It's one of the finest and realistic kind of fiction I've read in the recent times. This book is highly recommended if you're looking for some quality piece of literature, I would rate this book 3.75 out of 5 stars.

Dark Blossom.
🍃
Thank you for the review copy @rupa_publications :)

Dark blossom is a tale that hides dreadful secrets behind a smiling facade. The beautiful cover is what intruiged me to pick up this book but the story surprised me by keeping my concentration from wavering. If you're into thriller genre then I'd suggest you to give this book a try.
🍃
The protagonist is a psychiatrist Cynthia, who is on the verge of recovery from a bad marriage. She restarts her practice post divorce and meets her new patient Sam. Sam is a complex man with good looks who is trying to seek closure for his wife and son's death. Marisa and Will, die in a car accident and Sam has been trying to find answers ever since. He walks on the fine line between rage and sadness, prompting Cynthia to look after him more closely than she ever intended to.
🍃
Cynthia's personal life is in shambles as her daughter, Lily builds a wall around her. Lily struggles with her father's violence and throws tantrums when her mother failed to see the tell-tale signs of abuse. As Cynthia tries rekindling her relationship with Lily, Sam steps into the picture and takes over the role of white knight. They form their own little family as Sam starts feeling better each day. But Lily has her own secrets to hide and only Sam is aware of it. And maybe Lily isn't the only one with skeletons in her closet.
🍃
The story is written with such ease that you don't feel like keeping it down even for a minute. The plot was unique and can only be unravelled in the last few chapters. When you think about life as a series of coincidences, you might want to pause and rethink your opinion. This book will certainly change your notion about serendipity. The characters are well developed, the storyline crisp though few scenarios felt stretched. Language was commendable.
🍃
I would rate this book 4/5.

Dark Blossom is a story that converges the lives of two people who are dealing with their own set of problems but can understand each other better because of it. A therapist, Cynthia, who is struggling to bring her relationship with her daughter back on track and a father, Sam, who is grieving his son and wife's death by a car accident.

The best aspect of this story was certainly the focus on mental health; the need for someone close to understand what might be affecting their loved one and the need for those problems to be addressed. The progression of a deteriorating mental health as influenced by certain events in the character's life and the importance of conversing about it with someone.

Sometimes, when we come up against a wall, we've got to plant our roots deep down like a tree and grow over the wall to get to a better place.

It has a surprising twist and that makes the entire story more fulfilling so it's best to go in blindly and let the events be unfolded by themselves. The writing is commendable since it encompasses the natural narration of a mother (Cynthia) and even her realizations or tactics as a therapist. The pacing is perfection since it sets up the climax in a gradual manner and that makes it all the more surprising. The plot and storyline are definitely dark but isn't that too evident from the title? There's no complaining there!

I received a physical copy of this via the author himself. Thank you, Neel Mullick and Rupa Publications!

This is has probably the first five star read that I have read in a very longtime. I guess that already tells you how much I loved it.

To begin with, the cover of the book is gorgeous, the title is interesting though it doesn't tell you anything about the story and you know of understand the reason for choosing this title after finishing the book. The blurb is precise and up-to the point. The titles to each chapter are very thoughtful and unique.

There are very few books which satisfy the readers to this extent. The story is brilliant. I was so invested in the book that I finished it in one sitting and towards the end when I thought "Ohh, now I understand why this was like this." At that point I felt like I had read a story with kind of similar plot and BANG!!  The last two chapters change that pre-notion of mine and I was left overwhelmed. The plot is so well executed, I really wish that there is a sequel to this book.

The characters are well built. The dialogues are amazing. The USP of the book, I think we're the lucid and gripping narrations.

I recommend this book to everyone. You must read it without giving much thought, I assure you, you are in for a treat.

HAPPY READING!

⚫️ Starting from cover, I couldn’t resist saying that it’s a wonderful cover. I fell in love with the book just by looking at it!
⚫️Very unique and different plot. It’s based on mental health concept. And being in medical field I can definitely say that in current years, there is drastic increase of mental health patients and people are just unaware of the situations or they feel inferior or have taboo going to a counsellor or psychiatrist for help.
⚫️Well written. Amazing use of language and vocabulary.
⚫️ Unexpected events take place during whole storyline. Unpredictable so it definitely holds your attention that makes you want to finish as early as possible.
⚫️ Unpredictable ending and I loved when story has all loose threads and at the end suddenly everything makes sense. That makes the book perfect.
⚫️ Overall worth reading. I recommend this to everyone.

Dark Blossom is a psychological thriller.

I can say it's a heavy read with the language used.

Story is about a psychiatrist and her painful ordeals.

One fine appointment she met a patient for their consultation but on the other end she was herself drowned with her pain and suffering, they become acquainted and thus the story is a complete narration of their journey.

The Beautiful depiction of a Tormented mother daughter relationship is there because of experiencing failed marriage, domestic violence , depression and divorce kept me just hooked to this book.

The book gets deep into human psychology and the human complexes are well potrayed.

I can say it's a very fine thrilling read.

The emotions of motherhood, vivid descriptions of domestic violence and prospects of mental health are the highlights.

Initial two three chapters were difficult to read as maybe due to overuse of few psychological terms however the brevity of the book is apt.

The book deserves 4 stars for such a unique storyline and on point execution!

The story starts off with Sam, a young man who lost his wife and son in a tragic car accident, and is on the verge of depression. He decides to seek help from Cynthia, an experienced therapist.

Cynthia, on the other hand, is trying to cope with the divorce and is also worried about her daughter, Lily. Finding themselves in the same sinking boat, Sam and Cynthia find comfort in each other. They start living together, along with Lily. They are at the road to healing, and seem happy. But, Lily is hiding something from her mother. A secret which has the power to change their world forever.

The plot is absolutely stunning and well-knit. It's a unique story of loss, hope and recovery. There is a mystery and an element of thrill throughout the course of the story.
