Bye Bye Daisy: Kids Book on Feelings

Rate this book
A beautiful, loving story focusing on the child’s loss and helping them be happy again. My pet rabbit Daisy left for pet heaven today…
It was very sad.
Some people tell me I’ll forget Daisy, but that’s not good.
Daisy was my friend.
Daisy was my cuddle-buddy.
Daisy made me happy.
So, I won’t forget Daisy.
Even though sometimes I want to cry.
But then I think…
The only way to not feel sad, is to forget Daisy.
So, I won’t forget Daisy.
Because sometimes memories are all we have. The picture book is beautifully illustrated and is sure to bring solace to a child who is grieving.

Depends on Your Beliefs

Depending on your beliefs, this book could be a five star or a one star. While the illustrations and writing are good, in the Christian world, death is not final and saying so is in error. I would have preferred an ending where the child had an opportunity to feel that in some day or time he would be reunited with his beloved friend.
