I really wanted that particular development to happen but thought it wasn't gonna happen. I'm so happy!
Five reading that letter was so incredibly adorable that it makes it a bit weird since this was five who did it. Still, adorable.
I don't quite like the turn Vanya's story is taking. It seems like it's the same thing that we've already seen. I want it to be something different.
And I don't trust it.
Seeing most of the academy fighting together was really cool and I just wish they were all together. When that happens it's going to be so incredibly cool.

And what's the deal with Alison? Is she just helping because....

OMFG. This issue was action-packed, full of explosions and bad guys wanting to mess things up. And by messing up, I mean that after escaping from a secret prison, all they want to do is destroy the city.
The Umbrella Academy guys sure have their work cut out for them. Especially since their numbers are down and they're not all in the same place.
I loved that scene with Séance because it featured one of my fave characters. One that has been MIA for too long.
Also, where the hell is Vanya going?
Looking forward to reading the next issue...

It’s an all out war zone!! Criminals are running rampant in the streets and above them all stands Perseus, now returned to do what his father always wanted: dress as a cyber enhanced version of the mythical hero of the same name and bring the light and be the hero they believe the city deserves. That of course means joining with the android, known as Medusa, and posing himself as the hero by fighting all the criminals he just set free. Back at the lab Luther and Diego successfully made it through the televator, only to get a call from Lupo about Klaus and his recent overdose. They of course have the bigger problems with the rest of the city being a war zone for these criminals, but they need to get over to the hospital now. Speaking of the city, we turn over there to find murder magician, and his baby named Oscar, cowering in an alley…only to step out and realize the entire city is overrun with criminals! But one criminal above them all happened to find the pair…the mother. Suddenly Allison jumps out from another alley and gets in between them, ordering the murder magician to run. Only to look down, see the crystal ball in the monster’s hand, seemingly realize who it is…and get knocked to the side.
As Perseus continues his tirade throughout the city, painting himself as a great hero, he is suddenly knocked back to earth by the scientific man. Back in Huxley general hospital, Klaus wakes up to find the mysterious figure who brought him there sitting by his bedside…it is none other than the gruesome ghost of Ben aka number 6 aka the horror!!! He immediately jumps up and starts scolding Klaus for all of his drug use, but then warns him of what is to come. Based on the empty hole in Ben’s chest, I am starting to wonder if the giant eldritch horror that touched Luther…is none other than what Ben used during his super hero days. But as soon as the other members in the family bust in, Ben disappears. Hilariously, Five immediately attempts to start reading from a script to driver Klaus an intervention…but Lupo cuts him off, they do not have time for this right now! Grabbing Klaus with them they all head out to deal with the maniacs on the loose. But five mentioning Allison running off on her own does have Luther a bit spooked.
Five: “She’s a big girl with martial arts training and a semi-flawed power that borders in the omnipotent, Luther…I think she’ll be all right.”
We now take a moment to go check in on Allison, who has tracked the magician and his baby momma to the theater that acted as his old hide out. As she gets in the baby crying tips off the mother to where the magician is hiding, and in front of her eyes he uses his magic to make him disappear! As she starts to freak out, Allison once again tries to step in. This is something she can relate to, she knows what it’s like to miss someone you love and not be able to see them. While we are checking in on the sisters, let’s see how Vanya is doing. She doesn’t consider three hours walking on the snow in Norway to be a good time, even if she does appreciate the use of her legs, but it seems that they have just come to the secret hideout that the woman in red will only explain as Vanya’s home, and where their family resides.
Getting back into the chaotic war going on, we find Doctor Terminus at the zoo…fulfilling his appetite with all of the very large creatures. Stepping away from that horror show for a moment, we cut over to the alley where the scientific man and Perseus are fighting. And the scientific man is absolutely laying him out. Turns out he believes that man is a disease that needs to be rid of, so not a chill dude after all. But Luther can still try his hardest to swoop in and beat him down. Although it seems the scientific man has upgraded from their past fights, and is able to swiftly knock Luther down…all while other criminals get a whiff of what is happening and begin to descend on them! Not only do they need to keep the scientific man back, but now they have to deal with a whole bunch of villains…and Five’s cool car ends up blowing up in the process. Luther is able to hold off the scientific man just in time for Klaus to use his powers to send a couple of exposed electrical wires right into the guy…taking him down! Turns out the electricity destabilizes his hyper-conductive molecules. But with one threat down they just have to move to the next one. As the issue comes to ab end they notice that terminus is attempting to eat the entire city…all while Medusa and Perseus come from behind to try and fight them as well. Hahahaha, alright punch that guy out and deal with terminus, please.
