While reading and viewing the pictures from this book, I continued to think about the variety of uses in the schools. Teachers in elementary and middle schools could use this book when talking about and explain parts of the nature of science. The author involved glossary terms in the back of the book with most of the words commonly used in science. She also involved informational websites for readers to view if they wanted more information. Lower elementary grades could use this as a read aloud as an introductory with doing a unit on letting students plant their own seed, water it daily, and watch grow.
