SANCTIFICATION: CONSECRATION AND PURIFICATION
This book brings out the truths about the Sanctification, which is whole-life time process. It can be divided into three phases:
1. Positional Sanctification
2. Progressive Sanctification and
3. Perfect Sanctification
“Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine” (Exodus 13:2)
“That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD'S” (Exodus 13:12)
“And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine” (Numbers 3:12)
Birthright is not to be taken lightly. Esau, the firstborn in Isaac’s family gave up his birthright to Jacob for a meal and the result is seen even today. Esau’s descendants are Edomites and they are always at war with the children of Israel. Jacob, who was blessed and renamed as “Israel”, was called by the LORD as His firstborn. Most blessings in Christian family belong to the firstborn.
