Brilliant - Must Read - Towards Latin American Cinema
Before starting this book I hesitate to read it, thinking that it may meant for cinema geeks.. Only after started reading, I get to know new things regarding Latin America (not just cinema). He only mentioned 4-5 Directors, but you will get to know about many unknown classical geniuses.. those are not just films - it was a weapon they handled to show the world about the core issues in their respective region.. but the same time not failing to provide a non-commercial classical cinema.. Important to mention that they highly focused on subtle details.. Regardless of socially responsible movie there was also some epic movies mentioned here.. Simply to say, Everyone must read..
