Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
ONE INTENSE READ!!! Whoa! Fast and furious is definitely the way to go. Yep, talk about falling hard. I do not even know where to begin. I thought the last book was fantastic. Again, this is an unexpected delight in itself. I know, I can not make up my mind. So choose them all. You can not go wrong here, trust me on that. This is a page-turner, smooth flowing wild ride with all the thrills and explosions you can handle. "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Searing Saviors series. In this book, Allen is a firefighter who is also former military and he suffers from PTSD. Allen has problems sleeping and suffers from night terrors. When a water leak in the firestation causes the art gallery next door to flood also, the chief sends Allen to see how much damage is there and to help fix everything. Brea owns the art gallery and works with her best friend Valerie. When they see it flooded, she gets angry at Allen when he comes to ask about the damage. Allen tells her he will fix everything and she agrees to meet him to buy new flooring. Allen thinks Brea is attractive and one day while they were eating lunch, things turned steamy and they gave into their attraction. They began seeing each other and things were going well until Brea pushed Allen to get help before he was ready. I really enjoyed this book and i love how the characters dealt with their issues. Allen was a good guy who had to face his past and get help with his PTSD but it seemed like he didn't know where to start and if he was worth getting the help. I liked how Brea wanted to help him and was willing to support him any way she could. Another good one from Weston.
Catching up with the Fireman of Searing, I just knew underneath that closed off gruff exterior there had to be more to Allen! Mr. Parker weaved a story giving all that and much more! Allen's time in Iraq has left its mark while trying to leave his past life behind him to make way for new - his mind still hasn't caught up. PTSD, sleepless nights, night terrors, denial and guilt are just a few of the things that plague his daily life, all while civilian in him works for the fire department. Thinking this is how Allen's life will always be, a water line break between the firehouse and the business next door. Putting him in contact with the business owner - who's fiery personality goes to work on his wayward ways while he fixes property damage. Too good to be true? Is all a mistake? Maybe, but there's plenty of people around to nudge these two in the right direction. A fanfreakingtastic story! I hearted every page of Allen and Brea's rollercoaster of passion and heartache! Their connection was off the charts! My favorite book out of the series! 5 plus star read!
We finally get Allen's story and what a story! Allen is former military and a firefighter. Allen is the quiet one who is very sweet and kind. Allen has PTSD from his time in the military that has left him with triggers and sleepless nights. Brea is a art gallery owner whose gallery is next door to the firehouse. Brea unleashes her angry on Allen and his fellow firefighters when a pipe bursts and floods her gallery and ruins her floors. Allen is tasked with doing the repairs at Brea's gallery, so she won't go after the fire department for damages. As Brea and Allen struggle with their relationship, will their pasts threaten the future they may have together? Brea and Allen share a unique connection and amazing chemistry. Turn Up the Heat by Weston Parker is a fantastic story full of chemistry, drama , and emotion. I would definitely recommend getting Turn Up the Heat and the other books in the Searing Saviors series by Weston Parker. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
Give me a hero in uniform and I’m a happy reader. Allen is both former military and a first responder so that makes me extra happy to finally read his story. It’s always the quiet ones that surprise you the most. Make you forget that there could be some very deep waters churning below the very stoic mask. I think from the very first book, I was already prepared to love Allen unconditionally. Brea took me a little while to warm up to her. The way she treated the firefighters who were trying to help her made it tough for me to like her and, for a moment, I doubted that she would be a good match to Allen. I am so happy to report that my fears were unfounded. Brea’s just as complex and prickly as he is, and in the end their strengths and vulnerabilities dovetail nicely with one another. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
TURN UP THE HEAT (Searing Saviors Book #3) By Weston Parker
Oh, what an excellent continuation in this world of Searing Saviors! Mr. Parker has done a great job of bringing us Allen and Brea. She owns the art shop next to the fire station and Allen is a war veteran/fireman/paramedic who is suffering with severe PTSD that leaves him with sleep robbing nightmares night after night. When the fire station has a huge leak in a wall adjoining the art shop, Brea's store ends up with a huge flood. Allen and the firemen have a car wash to help replace her furniture so she can get reopened quicker. Allen is strongly attracted to Brea and she is to him as well. How will the PTSD affect them, you will have to read and see. You will be glad you did! This is a 5 star read that I wish I could give more to!
Ignite The Spark Between Us (Searing Saviors Book 4) 4 stars I purchased a copy of the sweet to mildly steamy Florida based novel Ignite The Spark Between Us (Searing Saviors Book 4) Mav and Allie by Weston Parker and this review was given freely. A well rounded story containing a mainly clean virgin romance with a touch of steam, a generally thoughtful and all around good guy and loving father,a loving but interfering grandmother and Allie's unfiltered best friend Candice. Single parent Mav Cantone struggles to juggle his firefighting job and being a single father with the help of his live in grandmother until he is offered a promotion, his daughter Olivette starts kindergarten,he finds himself attracted to the kindergarten teacher Allie, and his grandmother begins talking of moving to a retirement community.
Turn Up The Heat (Searing Saviors Book 3) Weston Parker
Allen is a fireman with the Searing Fire Department. Brea has her Art Gallery shop next to the Fire Station. An incident happens the brings Allen and Brea together. Allen enjoys Brea hostility and that makes him like her feisty self. Naturally he offers to help her with renovations to the store. They spend time together and the inevitable heat brings them together. Brea decides to help his PTSD by taking him to a military help group. Allen walks away and Brea is heartbroken, This story was a welcome diversion as I enjoyed how well the characters meshed together and it warmed my heart that these two were able to find and help each other. A Love story with its own HEA.
This book is filled with emotion so be prepared. It’s really beautifully written and pulls at those heart strings, hard. As Allen is former military, there are flashbacks/dreams that are hard to read but this author does a truly great job with them. I’ve read books in the past where authors have absolutely butchered anything military related. Not this one. He does it justice. I will be a little critical for a moment and say that I did want a little more from the ending. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but I wanted their relationship to be further along I guess. Still loved it though. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and I honestly don’t think I could recommend this book enough as it is that great.
This book was so good. I read it in one day in one sitting. When Brea was first introduced in this book. I did not like her at all. I couldn't understand why she bought a business by a fire station when all she did was complain about the firemen and the noise of the alarm. She was rude and kind of hateful to Allen and Mav when they first showed up to help her. She did get better and I ended up really liking her. I really felt for Allen and all he was going through. I can only imagine what that would be like for a person and was happy that he found someone who ended up being patient and understanding with him. Valarie had to be my most favorite character in this book though. She added a little humor to an otherwise serious topic. Glad I was able to get an ARC for this one.
First of all... I just wanted to say the author is amazing!!! This book was one that I couldn't put down until it was finished!!! Allen works at the firehouse..Brea owns a gallery next door. There is a pipe that burst and Brea's shop is flooded, Allen's boss decides he should help her clean up the mess and fix her shop back up. During their time together, they start to see another side to each other and the more time they spend together, the more they like each other... But will Allen be able to overcome his own fears and see what the future holds?!?!? Will Brea stay with someone who is struggling with their past!?!?!! I received an ARC of this book from the author but my review is mine and I'm really glad I read this book!!!!
Allen served overseas and experienced things no one should ever have to .. Now that he is on the fire department he is enjoying it but there are still triggers for him and the fact he can't sleep after all these years home doesn't help. When he meets Brea he feels something he hasn't felt in a long time but isn't really willing to let her in
Brea works next to the fireshouse in her art gallery.. When a flood ruins her floors and shop Allen is tasked with doing the repairs to try and save her from going after the firehouse for damages.. She's never met a man like him before and as her walls are coming down she sees more of his going up.. Can she help him tear down those walls?
Allen is a paramedic and firefighter at the station next door to an art gallery. When a pipe bursts at the firehouse, Brea gets her first closeup of Allen when he goes next door to make sure they didn’t flood. Alas, they did and Allen seems to be in charge of repairs. Then the sparks started. Allen hasn’t had a relationship since he came back from Iraq with all the nightmares and reactions that went with them. He doesn’t sleep at night and he is exhausted on shift endangering his squad mates. How is he going to get his life under control? Very nicely written with well developed characters. Enjoyable from page 1! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Turn Up The Heat by Weston Parker was a great story, we have a hero not only is he a military man but now a firefighter and one feisty beautiful young woman who runs the art studio next to the fire house. This is a story that will definitely keep you hooked with its drama and exciting characters. This was a really well written story and a real page turner. I want to tell you so much more but will leave you with this, Weston Parker has delivered another great book, for me it is a five star, must read story that you will not be disappointed with. I absolutely loved and highly recommend this great book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Addressing issues our vets have holds a special place in my heart. The issues they deny and try to fight themselves without burdening others is heartbreaking. The strength it takes to face them amazing. As you will read Allen has the PTSD along with the bubble he builds around himself. It takes a strong, determined and unexpected woman (Brea) to break through that bubble (and not without problems) to help encourage Allen to move forward.
This was a touching book and well written. I haven't read any of the other books in this series to date but I can honestly recommend this one and plan on reading more by the author.
Allen Yellich is a military vet who suffers with memories from his time in the service who became a member of the fire department where Hayden and Derek work from books one and two. Brea owns the Art gallery next to the fire station, where a flood in there station leaks over to her store, and she and Allen cross paths as she is yelling at him and one of his coworkers. When the chief orders Allen to go over and help Brea clean up the mess, the pair end up shopping together for new flooring and the sparks begin to fly. Now as the pair grow closer, will Allen be able to let go of some of his past and move forward with Brea? Or will Allen’s night terrors keep them apart?
Weston Parker’s Turn Up The Heat was a fantastic 3rd installment to the Searing Saviors series. Allen is a firefighter who is plagued with nightmares borne of guilt and pain from his time in the Marines. Brea is an art gallery owner who is angered when a pipe connected by the firehouse and her gallery bursts. I have read a few of Weston Parker’s other books and this one doesn’t disappoint. Turn Up The Heat is raw, emotional, passionate, and heartfelt. I absolutely loved this new novel and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Another couldn't-put-it-down story from mister Weston Parker!
Emotionally troubled Brea and Allen met over a flood between their respective place of work. That guy lived through some pretty heavy stuff in the Army and has a hard time getting through it; Weston Parker explained (wrote about) it very well. That story was so well written I felt like I was there right along with them; I couldn't and wouldn't put it down; I read it straight through!! It made me a bit sad, then happy, laugh, swoon... Steamy sex scenes ;)
I received an ARC for this book in exchange of an honest review.
I received an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. Weston has had me on a see-saw the whole read. The trauma of PTSD was treated with so much understanding and sensitivity, it was great to see and feel the emotional support for Allen from Mav and Brea. Although there is a happy ever after ending and I was so in love with the words from Allen for when they are old and grey, my chest is now so tight as I felt I was drawn into the emotional turmoil Allen was going through. Absolutely loved the book!
Book three in the Searing Saviors series brings Allen and Brea's story. The author brings tons of emotion in this sweet and sexy love story and pulls you in with all the drama and steamy hot chemistry. He does a fantastic job bringing the story to life with his descriptive writing and detailed scenes. I loved watching them come together and enjoyed seeing past characters as well. I was hooked from start to finish reading and would highly recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Brea and Allen's story will pull on your heart and make you want to shake them both. They both have troubled pasts - Allen was former military and suffers PSTD, that both hinders them and makes them perfect for each other. Brea pushes Allen to get help and there are some bumps in the road of their relationship. Can these two find a way to heal the past and focus on their beautiful future? Grab this wonderful story today! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am gladly leaving this review.
This is definitely a page-turner, the story grabs you from the beginning right through until the end.
Allen never trusted anyone to help him deal with his PTSD; he always felt he would and could do it all alone. Brea, never met a man that she fell head over heels for.
Circumstances bring these two together, the sparks are ignited and a full-blown fire comes alive. These two have to deal with their troubled pasts and start new pages with each other.
The story is well written, the characters are very interesting.
This is a must read from Weston Parker. When Allen and Brea first meet it does not go well. Her art gallery is flooded from a burst pipe at the fire station where Allen works. Will they get past that to become more than friends? I loved their chemistry but when Brea finds out about his military past and his PTSD will things fall apart? So much love and understanding but also lots of anger. A story handled brilliantly with plenty of heat. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Allen, a firefighter and military veteran, meets Brea, an art gallery owner, when a pipe bursts at the station and floods Brea’s gallery. Brea initially takes her anger out on Allen and his fellow firefighter but changes her tune when Allen quickly steps up to fix her gallery.
This was a wonderful story and I really liked all of the characters. I really liked that Weston did not shy away from discussing PTSD and we got to see Allen working on it. Overall this was an emotional but quick read. I definitely recommend it!
I am mesmerized by Weston Parker’s books and this did not disappoint. The sweetness of their romance and the raw sensuality of the lovemaking between Allen, a fireman, damaged by war, and Brea, a young woman with a small art gallery with aspirations of so much more. When a water leak at the firehouse causes damage to Brea’s business, Allen comes to her rescue, but it is Brea who manages to reach his depths and saves him. I would have liked more in the epilogue of their HEA.
Once again Parker Weston has written a most engaging tale. The male character Allen, suffering from PTSD, for 5!years after his deployment ended tragically. There are so many men and women who return from these wars and try to keep everything bottled inside. This story story shed a small light on the therapies that they need to come to terms with the savages of war! Rhea was a perfect foil for Allen and through some unusual circumstances they found each other! HEA ending all the way!
Turn up the heat. Another story to the infamous firefighters in the firehouse. Allen is a firefighter with a military past that haunts him and might even ruin a relationship with Brea before it even starts. This is a good love story romance that shows a lot of struggles within ourselves that we have to open up and talk about in order to move on. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
Holy wow!!!! Allen’s story is by far the best in the series so far!!! As usual Weston brings hard to discuss trials to the table in a delicate way that adds to the overall feel of the story! In this case he brings in Allen whose a ex military soldier that suffers from undiagnosed ptsd. And the best part about it is that Weston I moly’s it’s ptsd and with the exception of Valerie mentioning it one time with Brea it’s never made the spectacle of! Once again proves why you can never ever go wrong with a Parker sibling book!!!!
Great title, in more ways than one! This sexy, dramatic filled story was a definite page turner. Brea is a strong, confident woman who really captures the heart of Allen. Allen is a strong, caring man who is dealing with PTSD. Together they help each other in so many ways. This is a story filled with hope, love, and friendships. An overall great story! I received this book at no cost in exchange for an honest review.
What a great book that's full of steam. This is the third book in the searing Saviors series and can be read as a standalone. The characters were so likable and their chemistry was explosive. So well written in true Weston Parker style. Entertaining and a page-turner. Be warned once you begin you'll find it hard to put this book down. Flashbacks, drama and plenty of twists. I voluntarily chose to review this book. You'll love this book, I did.
