SPOILERS!!!
Book opens with Hero and OW bed. There's a brief description of him penetrating said OW without condom. Scenes like this always ruins a book for me! WHY is it necessary to insert them when they have no basis to the plot?? Yes, we get it he is a manho and he sleeps around. Do we really need to read how "hard" & "turned-on" he gets with OW? Is it necessary to the plot to learn how he f***k this OW all through the day & night?
Then let's add said vile/despicable Hero who treats heroine like trash for over 96% of the book and the constant fighting! Heaven's to Betsy people! These two fought NON-STOP until close to the end!

It' not a secret that I love Billionaire Romances and also romances where the hero has always vowed he'd never fall in love but then that one feisty woman comes along and knocks him for a loop.
This story had both of those elements and I was very excited about jumping in.
Lonzo and Jordana without knowing how it happened wake up in bed together. Jordana has her "v" card in place still at this point in her life but only because she's never felt the real passion that she wanted to feel when surrendering that special part of herself. Quickly passion ignites between two strangers and then the games begin.
The dust settles and these two retreat two their corners. What transpires is a battle of wills. I loved Jordana and felt she was just the most genuine character and such a compassionate soul. I wanted to just applaud so many times when she put Lonzo in his place.
I found that Lonzo really had to grow on me. He was over the top with his views of how women should be treated. He had no respect for them at all. I actually wanted to junk punch him a time or two over the way he acted.
But slowly I started seeing this turmoil inside of him.With how he interacted with his uncle, trying to be all tough and stubborn but loyal and caring all at the same time. He didn't have a clue what was happening to his heart. I started feeling kinda sorry for him. It's like he never was taught how to love ..and was taught from an early age that women use and women leave. So after that I realized I need to cut him some slack. Just a little.
I really started enjoying the banter between Jordana and Lonzo at this point. This is the first installment of this series and there wasn't much of a relationship between the two by the end. Just a few explosive sexual encounters. They still don't know each other at all by the end. A few cracks had started forming in their armor though. This I enjoyed with bated breath.
I look forward to finding out how things will change once they actually start spending real time together.
This was a hot and sexy erotic read with some pretty strong willed characters. I really want to see more of this passionate couple and hope to see them fall in love..after the lust settles.

I’m going to tell you a secret. IT TOOK ME A WHOLE DAY TO GET THOSE LINES ABOVE arranged into a paragraph that makes sense. Most of the terms there are already from the book too! ( I hope KM forgives me for that, her words were really the perfect ones to use, I swear!) WHY, you might ask. WELL, Lonzo left me…speechless and flustered and possibly drooling. Imagine an open mouthed glazed expression on my face due to the sheer hotness of this guy. HAHA. DANA I envy you, you b*tch I almost wish I was you!
Aside from the scorching scenes, this book has really funny and witty banters between the two. I don’t know whether to blush or laugh out loud on some moments:

“No, it’s just… happy to see you.” She blushed adorably. “I can see that.” “It had been a week since he had any action. He tends to get a little excited.” She giggled unexpectedly.
Laughter in the bedroom? He’d never had that with any of his previous lovers. He was pretty straightforward with sex. He would f*ck, come and then leave. His mouth twitched. Now, he was cracking jokes about his willy. Unbelievable.

This installment starts off right where book 1 ended. While book one.. was erotic overload..this one found these two getting to know each other in the most romantic ways. I find Lonzo and Jordana in a passionate affair that grew to real emotions...and it was keeping me on the edge of my seat with how explosive these two were together.
I loved how Lonzo couldn't keep his hands off of Jordana and how she couldn't fight his advances even when she tried. What else made me fall for Lonzo so hard..was his freaking spectacular cockiness and arrogance..he was so funny too
There were so many romantic and sweet moments that when things changed it was like the rug was torn out from underneath me.
I
am giving this book 4.5 stars ..for the love story. Which I really did adore in
the beginning and the end. The middle ..tortured me. The 10 Sizzling hearts are for the amazing HEAT this
author brings to her erotic and passionate love scenes.
If it wasn't for how mad this hero made me I'd have easily given this book 10 amazing stars.
I
do feel confident that other readers are going to absolutely love it
and that it's going to be just a personal taste issue of mine.
I am a lover of passionate stories where one of the characters is jaded but falls in love and fights it. I do know that with these types of stories angst will be a big factor.
My problem is where and how Lonzo took some of his pain out on Jordana. I was so mad at him!
In the authors own words..he was a BASTARD!!!
It was over the top and just well way to much for me.Where Jordana showed class , Lonzo was just crass and mean. I found myself cussing him several times!!
There was a point in this book..a major and crucial point that Lonzo just broke my heart.
I was almost DONE with him...he crossed a line and well.. I had to push forward and I am glad I did.
Once Lonzo woke up and became the man I knew he could be..he really eased the pain in my heart.
He was determined to love Jordana the way she deserved and even let her have all the control there for a while. He didn't give up and I rooted for him the whole way and wanted to beg Jordana to give him another chance.
When they couldn't fight things anymore and came together in a fiery reunion ..I was lost and swept away.
He did redeem himself and I am so happy with how this story wrapped up.
Once things changed ..well I was taken on a scary ride and there were moments that my heart was on overload and I wanted to just scream.
Just when I was at my wits end...Kat made it all better and my heart was whole again..I adored the epilogue and can say that Lonzo..he just worked his magic on healing the scars he had placed on my heart in the beginning..he was the man he was always meant to be.
I will hold a special place in my heart for this couple and will count Jordana as one of my favorite heroines ever. She was really a special lady.

The news article is the first thing to grab your attention, it's funny and a little too informative lol. when you finish reading lonzo it becomes an ahhhh moment.
From the first chapter I was hooked, this is funny, sassy, a tad cheeky, hot! Definitely not your usual billionaire romance. It's got a little of everything........
Busy with her modeling, Jordana has a slip of the tongue and the whole world finds out her secret so she agrees to take time out for her friends wedding, Lonzo has also taken time out for the wedding. I can't tell you what happens lol but you will find yourself siding team lonzo or team jordana..... a little indiscretion and fireworks are exploding, neither one willing to admit fault or give in.
Suddenly lonzo finds his inheritance threatened so strikes a deal with jordana, putting the two of them in an explosive situation..... with passion and tempers flying.
Meet Thio, lonzo's uncle, matchmaker he is not, but what he does do will make you chuckle!
Many heated exchanges ensue, both physical and verbal where part of you says yes, the other groans oh no...
Leading me to LONZO part 2
Words can harm, as lonzo finds out when he can't trust jordana and doesn't yet believe in the power of love. So once again jordana agrees to a final proposition, resulting in her running away. Which sends lonzo into such an absolutely unbearable state that he decides to seek her out, using any and all means necessary.
What comes next shocks the living daylights out of him, he doesnt take it very well lol. They fight and he agrees to to stay away...... sad face....
Fate or whatever you want to call it intervenes and once again lonzo and jordana are thrown back together to save gianna.
Finally admitting to each other how they feel. I'm actually chuckling right now because although they've worked things out it certainly isn't going to be a simple HEA, it's going to test the very limits lonzo never knew he had, trust me it will make sense once you've read it ...
I couldn't put it down and recommend this to anyone that appreciates a sense of humour, a bit of temper, and bad boy billionaires falling hard

Where and how to begin? Because honestly speaking, I'm still reeling from that super coughs hot coughs steamy last chapter.
Okay... okay.. I have four fucking words for you. "It-did-not-disappoints"
I dig it. I like it. I love it. KM practically had me glued, speechless, gripping, squirming and drooling, all in one sitting. Yeah. I devoured this book in like hours. It's one of those books that definitely belongs to the 'can't-be-put-down' category.
I admit, I've read too many books that revolves around this kind of plot but this particular writer did it with style. Nuff said. I have listed the things I liked about this one and lez proceed to it, shall we? Here ya go.
What I like:
**Pace of the story. Not too fast, not too slow. It was carefully thought out. Every scene that leads to the next is just right. It had only goal in mind. BLOW. I mean to deliver the best.
**The MC's undeniable and palpable sexual chemistry. *fans self*
**Witty, smexy, and sometimes sarcastic banters.
**The jealousy. Damn. How I love seeing the hero livid, out of wits, and tethering on the brink of insanity.
**Lonzo Vitale. His imperfections, dastardly mean streak, his stubborn attitude, his possessiveness, his over-the-edge hotness. (all that, and most esp his flaws made me love him more)
**Jordana Almueda herself. Lucky bitch. Haha. I wanna take her place. Can I? Pretty please?
**And oh, I definitely won't forget the uber-hot love scenes. *fans self part 2*
All in all. This is a perfect hot read. *winks*

YIPPIE-KAY-YAY!
After ages of sitting on my e-book folder, I finally got to the epilogue! **pop confetti**
Gawd! It was cool as cool could get.
I loved the chase and the battle of wills. Lonzo and Jordana were two people with unbending principles and a lot of luggage they carry and tow. I read the first edition (in mixed Filipino and English) but I still felt a different high reading LONZO in full English.
And I loved it more every time Lonzo goes bat-shit sweet on Jordana--even if he thought he wasn't. And I have crazy time cracking up in some parts of the story. Lonzo--despite being a gajillionaire--had loose screws. And I loved him for it.
"Mi hai rubato il cuore. C'e un vuoto dentro di me che solo tu puor colmare. Sei tutta la mia vita... sei il mio tutto, Jordana. Ti amo."
Aw, God!!! My toes are curling just imagining his dreamy voice saying those words in his rich Italian tone. (I thought my panties snapped. LOL!)

I think this book just killed me with anticipation for book 2. I fell in love with Lonzo. Deep and Hard.*deep sigh* I love his roughness. As a dreamer, this book made me dream of a man like Lonzo. Thank you for this cherry-poppin` hero, Ms. Kat. :-)
I also love the intensity of this book, enough to overdose and kill every reader. Tsk. What a panty-melting murderer we got here. :P
Honestly, after reading this book, i was like, Really? August 8? And i started counting days, 1,2,3-20 days? WTF! I`d be dead with anticipation by then. Ah, the feeling i get everytime i read your book.Tsk!

i have read the book time and again even on it's original printed form but the story never fails to amaze me and the magic that the author weaved on her every words never wane. the poignancy of the story got me hook line and sinker that i keep coming back for more...super like!!!

HOLY.FREAKING.AMAZEBALL!
THIS.NOVEL.IS.BEYOND.AMAZING!
O-KAY! I can finish one novel in less than a day, but there was this one point that no matter how good the book is, I was nothing but a book downer. It’s not relatively serious though, I just haven’t had my normal book mojo – but Lonzo fixed all that, with all the anticipation and dirty thoughts.

This book was well-written, pure, un-put-down-able, decadent, perfect mix of all. It was supreme perfection for me! It had me drooling, swooning and panting over Lonzo Vitale. It was the perfect blend of HOTNESS, and seriously grief-stricken hero and heroine. YES. TORMENTED. READ THE WHOLE THING!
What I liked more about this novel was Kat Madrid’s realistic approach with regards to the characters. I mean, who would have written anything about a heroine who put tissues in her armpits? Really? And supermodels do experience stage frights too, they just muster themselves quite well. LOL
Second, it was star-studded, J.LO, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Angie, and Brad. Brand-studded too, Burberry , Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Dior, Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, Loius Vuitton Victoria and Michael Kors.
Let me introduce you to Jordana Almueda, a bonafide glamazon, hailed as the queen in modeling world. A very down to earth person, self-sufficient, gorgeous—NO—GLAMOROUS, 5’10 tall with a sexy and curvy bud. And--- a virgin. From a plain life of an orphan girl, Jordana has certainly reached the stars. From being a waitress to a supermodel. DUH? She’s the queen bee of the runway. Half or rather more than the male population wants her in their beds—NAKED. For her, men are a bunch of overgrown kids. Firmly believes that sex should be done after marriage.
Everything about LONZO VITALE screams ALPHA. Hot, cold, warm, Christ, if there are in betweens I swear Lonzo will let you feel ‘em. His eyes were olive green with ridiculously thick lashes, chiseled jaw line, a strong masculine, nose and a sensual mouth that lived to its promise, Physically he was ten. He had the instincts of a Great White shark once he smells blood. He wins a battle even before it began. He was a womanizing bastard, and he doesn’t give a shit for pedigrees. Marriage? BULLCRAP!
IT’S A PERFECT 5. You guys should read this. I love you Lonzo! You are now added to my book boyfriend List! YAY!

Ok! There, I said it! Now moving on with Lonzo (the book). What else can I say? I was swept away with this story all over again. The taglish version was my introduction to Kat Madrid's words-painting and the very reason why I have all her books collected. This English version though was an excellence beyond excellence. It was weaved with superb diversity. From the poor and dangerous life in the street to the glamorous and fabulous life in the ramp. From the hero's baggages in his past to the heroine's unfortunate childhood. I was amazed how the author balanced the heavy-to-the-heart story line with those witty narrations, POVs and lines (that was a brilliant display of dynamic writing, if there's such thing). The "hyper-ventilation" thing was smartly used as a tool to connect readers to Dana's difficult life as a child. And yeah, how can I disregard the hawt love/bed scenes! One word for it...DYNAMITE!
*Sorry for the chaotic weaving of thoughts, I'm still sporting a scattered brain caused by the blast. But I'm so ready for the second dynamite of lonzoness :-D

I never thought I would but...
I WANNA PUNCH LONZO IN THE GUT THEN KISS HIM AFTER!

I have read the first edition and fell in love with it and with Kat Madrid. It was my first Kat Madrid story and I became an instant fan.
I read this edition and fell in love with the story even more that I pant for the book's conclusion!
I shelved this book for a while after I got my copy, thought I'd wait for the second book so that I won't be having a book-withdrawal syndrome. But just like a book slut that I am, I gave in and read book one. And now I regret it totally!
I should've heeded my original plan and waited for book two. I can't get the story off my mind. Now I'm drooling for the next installment. I wanted to take the first edition from my bookshelf and read the continuation just to satisfy my craving. But I didn't. I'm getting crazy over this. **sigh**
Anyway, Lonzo (international version) was not my regular re-read of a translated story. It was like reading a familiar book that was thrown in with new different spices. It had deja vu feeling in it but it's somewhat different. It had a different flavor in it.
I love the inside look at the modelling world. The cutthroat international boardroom action was a thrill. And the--eherm!--bedroom actions were written with a BIG BANG! Pun intended.
I can't wait for LONZO BOOK 2. Makes me wish that it's August 8 already! **fan-girling squeal!**

This romance story covers more than a year of time, and a lot happens. It is a romance between two beautiful, well-off people, but they both have dark pasts that they have to overcome to get to love. The hero is especially untrustful, and he really messes up with the heroine a lot. The story made sense, sometimes it seems like romance is too easy in books, and this wasn't too easy. I really liked the main characters and the secondary characters were well-developed. The sexy scenes were very hot. It is a good book.

i loved the scene where they first made love it was pretty cute and the scenes when they stayed together for a month in rome! and i loved how it doesn't drag on because this book isn't those type to drag on or it will be boring so i like how it was just one book! but i loved how the girl wasn't only attractive to him but everyone thought she was beautiful not only him. i hate books where the girl is only attractive towards the guy only not every guy but just him so am glad it isn't like that but rather the opposite.

Scorching Hot
Lonzo Vitale is a gorgeous specimen. It's very hard not to like his drop dead ravishing looks. He can just be snotty sometimes. But hey, it's part of his delicious appeal. This book is just scorching hot, I felt like a lovesick puppy reading it. 5 stars! read it, you won't regret. -- JB

They love that kind of information, like waving a red flag at an angry bull, they use it to embarrass her and taunt or challenge men who scramble to be her first. Running off to Italy to be maid-of-honor for her best friend will not get her out of the hot seat.
Lonzo Vitale is a powerful billionaire who can’t keep his pants up apparently. He thrills at the chase and if he notched his bedpost after every conquest, there would be no more wooden frame for his mattress. He is proud of his polygamist ways and will never settle down.
Lonzo is the best man at the wedding, hoping to persuade his friend not to marry. Then, the night before the wedding, Lonzo and Jordana wake up in bed naked, no memory of how they got to this point, and their naked pictures splashed all over the tabloids. Who set this up? How did they get away with this? And now what will Lonzo and Jordana do about it?
I didn't see the humor here. Jordana was a naive person if she did not foresee repercussions from her proud admission. Lonzo was also foolish to flaunt his conquests and give the media a likely candidate to mess up Jordana's "accomplishment". His attitude toward women bordered on cave-man. This was a foolish trap they fell into, but was of their own making.

*sighs* I seriously don't know how to express my emotions with how good this is! I'm so utterly speechless like OH MY GHOSHHH! This book is every freaking thing! Not to mention that I cried a river with the last part.
