Worth reading once. Really liked how Rob has described the balance between to be happy and content for whatever you are and continually strive for the better. Few of the messages in the book are keepers. Especially enjoyed the last part wherein he talks about passion, profession, market and profit.
Although, the book is bit too lengthy with certain messages getting repeated throughout. Could have been a better read had the messages been a bit more succinct.

I’m a Rob Moore fan and this book didn’t disappoint. But it didn’t blow me away either.

There was lots to think about and address, but I felt it lacked something it was a bit of a generic self, all be it a good one.

It could have easily repeated the content from his social media, podcasts and other books but it didn’t.

great book for self development, to know the self worth, i like the closing sentences of the book which stated that each of us are always enough for as we are, because it is all within each of us (the passion, the ups and downs in life, the useful life skills, etc). this book helps us appreciate who we really are and remember our worth in life.

It was a very enjoyable and relaxing read. A lot of information has already been hashed and beaten to death, but it still did not take away the fact that we constantly need to be reminded of good examples and hard work.

Slightly repetitive but an absolute gem regardless. Loved it. The casual tone of voice is everything, too. It felt human - understanding.

A mixture of the subtle f*cker book + Ryan Holiday huiliaty recap + Morgen Housel's Money psychology revisit.

Gain awareness, and then mastery, of your emotions.

First, notice the emotions. We have a unique ability as human beings to be aware of our emotions. We are able to separate ourselves from our emotions, become conscious of them, and evaluate them in real time.

Ehhhhh. I was looking for something to help me manage extreme emotions. This ain't it. I didn't, for some reason, clock this was primarily aimed at entrepreneurs. It's not a genre I'm into. I don't like the whole Tony Robbins esque mantra based business teaching bollocks.

But I read it anyway. I feel sceptical and more about his claims to know what it's like to be poor. Then he says he's worth tens of millions. Anyway, I don't really care about that. I was looking for something about coping with emotions.

There were actually some interesting bits, among the business speak. Doesn't seem to like being a parent much. Fair.

Valuable advice

It often easy to think that you are on your own and that no one else it having a hard time of things. So it very refreshing to know that even successful people have self doubt and struggles. This is a really good guide to all those doubts and self sabotaging thought with some practical steps to work through and overcome them.
