Part 3 of 3

Finding Stevie is a dark and poignant true story that highlights the dangers lurking online.

When Stevie’s social worker tells Cathy, an experienced foster carer, that Stevie, 14, is gender fluid she isn’t sure what that term means and looks it up.

Stevie, together with his younger brother and sister, have been brought up by their grandparents as their mother is in prison. But the grandparents can no longer cope with Stevie’s behaviour so they place him in care.

Stevie is exploring his gender identity, and like many young people he spends time online. Cathy warns him about the dangers of talking to strangers online and advises him how to stay safe. When his younger siblings tell their grandmother that they have a secret they can’t tell, Cathy is worried. However, nothing could have prepared her for the truth when Stevie finally breaks down and confesses what he’s done.

I was spell bound from part1 thru part 3. If everyone could
Meet people where they are in life having gender issues/problems-accept, respect, & guide like Kathy did with Stevie, this world would be
A better world! Integrity and Character Cathy instills with all

very good

Cathy Glass writes in such a way that you almost feel like family. I read her books because I am interested in the behavioral health of children. England seems to have a better foster care system than the US. They get bogged down but the is always someone else to call on. her books are a pleasure to read.

I read all three books in the series and I finished them in three days. I really enjoyed them. I love Cathy Glass and look forward to reading another one of her as I have never read one I didn't like.☺

Stevie finally gets his. life on track!

UK really keeps track of foster kids! Here in the US not enough workers to keep track of foster kids! Dwellings are checked enough! Too many foster kids are dying! Foster kids kicked out at 18 here! UK helps theirs transition out of foster care! Sad ! Nice series!
