Lydia and the Boundary Pirates

Lydia Hayden can travel through dimensions, bend space, and control time. She is also eleven years old, lives on a farm with her five older brothers, and has no idea she can do any of these things. All of that changes one strange January morning when she meets Flin, a formidable Boundary Warden, and Kara, her apprentice, who have come to Earth seeking an elusive aging captain. Lydia is swept up in their quest and soon finds herself far from home. On a spaceship…being chased by pirates… Before the end of the day Lydia will discover her long lost grandfather, befriend a robot named Blink, and learn she has abilities far beyond her, or anyone’s, imagination. But can she use those powers to return home? Will she ever see her family again?
