Giovanna Fletcher

Giovanna grew up in Essex with her Italian dad Mario, mum Kim, big sister Giorgina and little brother Mario, and spent most of her childhood talking to herself (it seems no one wanted to listen) or reading books.

At thirteen she left Essex behind to attend the full-time Sylvia Young Theatre School, where she met her husband Tom Fletcher. Following SYTS she completed an acting BA (hons) at Rose Bruford – since then she's been acting, chaperoning mini actors and dabbling in a spot of freelance journalism.

Giovanna is a firm believer in the power of magpies and positive energy. To see what makes Giovanna smile, view her blog at www.giovannasworld.com, or her Twitter page @mrsgifletcher

Billy and Me is Giovanna's debut novel.

No mention on social media’s, can’t even ask them as they’ve turned off comments on their socials.
Amazon has continued to push back the date for years now since 2021.

Edit July 2025: Mrs Fletcher has broken the silence & confirmed on SM that book 3 will be coming out but they don’t want to rush it as they are busy doing shows. No confirmation of when though or if they have started to write it, maybe another year or two?
Know a lot of fans have given up waiting & cancelled preorders, so thought I would update. 🙈

Edit May 2026: Still no update on book 3. I officially give up. It’s Game of Thrones all over again - but at least we had a TV series that gave us some kind of ending!

When is this book coming out?! 1 day to go and no cover or title?!! It’s already been pushed back once recently but the fact the date hasn’t been pushed back in a while gives me slight hope!

Edit:
Nope, as of midnight 1st Feb, the release date is now October 10th 2024. It was meant to come out oct 2023, then feb 2024, now october. Come on people!! At least update the placeholder cover that says “coming 2021” which was now 3 years ago!

If the first 2 are anything to go by this book will be amazing. But when is it coming?!???!?

Never coming out. Been on pre order since 2020. Date just been pushed back yet again but no information about it anywhere. All comments on socials are turned off so you can’t even ask. Maybe the authors had a massive fight. Who knows. But I have now lost hope. Wish I had never read the first 2 as now I will never know how it ends. Very disappointed.

THAT’S IT. Preorder cancelled. The temporary cover on Amazon still says coming 2021. Well as of April 2025 I had an email saying it’s been pushed back to *JANUARY 2026*. Seeing as there is still no title or cover art, I imagine it’s likely to get pushed back yet again. I didn’t even enjoy the second book enough to be excited about the third.

Sept 2025: Update because i can’t help being hopeful. Now pushed back to May 2026.

Oct 25: Now due June 2026. Is this going to be a monthly thing, pushing the date back?

Jan 2026: Due Sept 2026. Still no title or cover art.

March 2026: Due Dec 2026
