I was lucky to be quarantined with this library book in the early stages of the pandemic and I absolutely loved it so much that I bought a copy to keep on hand. Since having a little one that rummages through my bathroom cabinets (and wants to try on everything I'm using), I've been taking a hard look at what I'm actually putting on my skin. If I don't feel comfortable with her using it then why am I willing to wear it myself?? I've been using the 'Think dirty' app to check up on how 'clean' my products are and this book has been a huge help at flushing out products that are more complicated than they need to be. @sarapanton has put together a beautiful book full of simple, no-fuss recipes and techniques for cleaner beauty and for Essential Well Being. I'm especially loving her essential oil recipes for diffusing around the house. For me, scents really have a direct link to my mood and energy levels so I've been mindful to use them whenever I can (the perks of working from home!).
I haven’t made any of the recipes but they look very easy and so natural. I’m definitely intrigued and will start making some things. I think lip balms will be first.
