This book 3 of the Dark and Lovely Series is Action-packed is the secret sauce for this read.

Karen D. Bradley wrote an intriguing story as though she embodied the main character ... When Mia went into protective mode and the villains thought she was too soft, too inexperienced ... well, they messed around and found out that she was the indeed the sweetest taboo.

This was a very well written suspense story that kept me on the edge of my seat. With every page turned, I learned that this story encompassed so many of the necessary ingredients that made this “Confection Assignment,”one of the year’s tastiest reads for this reviewer

3++ Stars ⭐⭐✨ For such a quick read, this has quite a lot to keep you entertained. Although there’s not room for much backstory, there’s enough to get a feel for these characters. Whatever it may lack, it makes up for in the fast-paced, intense action that will have you on the edge of your seat, the surprising twist when the bad guys are revealed, and the heartwarming ending that is sure to leave you smiling. This may be a short tale, but it is quite engaging and very enjoyable.
