I have been following Lisa on YouTube since i was in high school but did drop of for a bit there but was very excited to learn that she was writing a book.

Lisa is naturally funny and it shows in her writing and in the way she tells her own story and it's pretty honest and raw and something i didn't expect to get from her ever. I was expecting to go into this just to read another memoir about her growing up and going through life, yes it did have those elements but Lisa took it and made it her own and added her own little twist on it which i loved.

This memoir is about finding yourself and doing this that are not the norm for society standards and i love that Lisa is doing thins on her own terms and when she's ready to do so. Myself heading into my second half of my twenties i already have people from high school getting engaged and having children so i feel that added pressure to settle down but Lisa made me comfortable while reading this and makes me realise that everything will happen when it happens theres no need to rush.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish all the crazy antics she gets up to and her allowing us a little glimpse into her private life.

The message i will take away from this book is it's ok not to be where society tells you need to be, that it's ok to do things on your own terms and let things happen. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise because at the end of the day it's ok not to know were you fit or were your headed just do things at your pace and things will fall in place when it happens.

This is a book for people in their twenties and thirties who are still trying to figure things out.

I lived for this debut novel by Lisa Schwartz. My thirties are creeping up and why not get tips and life lessons from the hilarious Blonde Oprah?!

This was such a fun story and a collection of stories from Lisa. She detailed certain moments in her life that were important to her and that taught her some of her favorite life lessons. Her sense of humor even in the difficult topics was refreshing and undeniably hilarious.

Her love of Seinfeld really shined in this book. Seinfeld quotes can be used daily. For example, when you are reading a book and don't want to be bothered just listen to George Costanza:

Her advice was genius and unique. We could all benefit from her tips!!

Overall, this was a cool, hilarious guide to navigating your life in your thirties (or whatever age range you are in) that will leave you laughing.

One of the funniest and most relatable books I could have ever gotten. I’ve followed this YouTube for years and can honestly say I feel like I know her better now and I feel like I know myself more as well. As someone whose gone through their fair share of problems I can’t help but thank the universe there is something so needed as this novel. For anyone struggling to understand their adult life and choices I holy recommend this book for some self insight and comedic genius.

I’m getting closer to my thirties and I’ve watched Lisa at YouTube for years now, so it was a good match for me to read.
I was surprised with the good writing of the book, it’s not that she’s a youtuber writing nonsense, she really put thought in it. The book was entertaining and with good tips.
Really liked the turtles reference and it’s something I’ll think about at though times.

This is a fascinating and hilarious memoir by Lisa Schwartz whose many thoughts of being in her thirties I can very much relate to. She's had her fair share of awkward moments, being hung over, dates that went south fast and maintains seeing a therapist for several things that she's working on improving.

Essentially she seems like a wonderful human being who is trying to navigate the often tricky ground of being in one's thirties and trying to decide whether going down the road of marriage and children is the right path while working hard at her various jobs, trying to have some fun along the way and learning some rather interesting things as she attempts to navigate.

This was so much fun to read, I could well relate to several aspects that she mentioned and she had some very good points particularly about certain social events that can feel awkward when you may not be at a certain stage in your life that other friends are.

I highly recommend reading this book particularly if you enjoy humor and memoirs.

I've only recently started watching Lisa Schwartz on YouTube, having missed her whole public relationship with Shane Dawson and her public persona on YouTube for most of her career. However you don't need to know anything about that to really get into this book. She does a phenomenal job of setting up the feelings you have when you enter your 30s and the tricky parts of navigating a world where what you may want and expect seems different from that which others expect of you. Heartfelt, funny, and truly open, this is a wonderful book. Especially for anyone who is entering this part of their life, or is recently coming out of it like I have. Also, highly recommend experiencing this is an audiobook as Lisa Schwartz herself does the narration. I can't imagine not having her hilarious and dramatic narration.

I thought this book was full of raw and personal struggles and victories. I have been a fan of Lisa for a while on YouTube and so that was my motivation to pick this up. The writing flowed pretty well and it was easy to read. I think the advice and perspective are great and there were a few times where I actually laughed out loud! However, I was disappointed with how each chapter was very independent of the others, there wasn't a lot of connecting happening throughout the book, that is just personally not my favorite way of story telling.

I enjoyed reading this book. I’ve been a fan of Lisa’s for a couple years now from YouTube and have appreciated her honesty and sincerity. What she writes about hits home with me and it feels good hearing it from her perspective. The main reason I didn’t give this more stars is because although I enjoyed her writing, I wish it flowed better from one chapter or part, to the next. The timelines didn’t always match up and that’s something I’m not the biggest fan of. It was an easy read and I would suggest it to anyone that is also in a similar time in their lives and needs a good read.

I had no idea Lisa and Shane Dawson dated. That's like a whole other realm of YouTube I don't visit aka the popular kids. I only recognize Lisa from some of Sierra Schultzzie's videos and I liked her humor. It was definitely a fun book even though I skipped the whole chapter on fur babies because while an animal lover, I'm not an animals living in my space lover.

Lisa‘s book is filled with wonderful stories about becoming more adult. Each section and or story was filled with wonderful analogies and stories that touched my heart.
For all single women who are 30 and up this is the book for you. Also for women who are introverts or are battling anxiety it’s nice to have someone else who is gone through the same type of things.

I've watched Lisa for the past few years on YouTube and the book was really entertaining although slightly overdramatised at times (but I guess most autobiographies are). It had some witty puns and unique stories in it though, that I wouldn't have known about just watching her YouTube videos, which I really loved.

Yay!

I loved Lisa when I was a big Shane Dawson fan.. I instantly connected with her and was glad to see her success after Shane’s and hers breakup! I thought this book was witty since I’m a 30 something and loved relating to it!

So this was found at the Dollar Tree and I figured, huh, I’m in my thirties. Maybe this will be insightful? Nope. Just regurgitation of the typical lifestyle of someone looking for love in all the wrong places with a sprinkling of Shane Dawson in the middle. I hope she gets therapy.

It's ok. nothing to write home about. If you like her as a youtuber and want to show support, et this book. If you don't know her at all, you might not want to waste good book money.

I listened to this because I didn’t want to throw away my remaining spotify audiobook hours and I was feeling nostalgic for the worst time of my life (middle school.) This isn’t as bad as some other Youtuber books. It is also not great.
