I have to say, this is the most interest writing style I've encountered in a while. Although the vast amount of scenery and plethora of characters can come on a bit strong, Rahman excels at weaving common themes across many ancient mythologies with a stream of consciousness angle of storytelling. If I had to come up with an analogy, it would definitely be Doctor Strange meets Life of Pi. My favorite aspect had to be the vivid imagery evoked, especially through the perspective of main mortal character, Haroon. It is an avid adventure to visualize this journey through the eyes of a fellow human.
