Some lessons are harder to learn than others.

Jerry Jenkins is a player. He loves women. Curvy women. Soft women. He's unapologetically drawn to full-figured women. With all the beauties in the world, he has no intention of settling down with just one. Not until Rayne Ellison moves in next door. But the curvaceous beauty doesn’t fall for his charm. Still, she's the only woman who has him willing to shred his bachelor’s card.

If there’s one lesson single mom Rayne learned over the years, it’s to avoid players. Been there, done that. Barely survived. No way will she fall prey to another ladies’ man. She has one focus—raising her daughter, but there’s something so magnetic about Jerry. Rayne agrees to be friends, but nothing more. At least that’s what she tells herself.

When tragedy strikes, Rayne is ready to give up, but it’s Jerry who keeps her afloat. He breaks down her defenses and, in the process, gives her a lesson on love.

Happy Endings😍🤗

It was good that Rayne gave Jerry a chance to give her and Stormy the love, help, and security that they really needed. Jerry might be younger than Rayne but he showed her what a real man was all about towards being a husband, provider, lover, and father. I love Stormy's personality and how she was territorial towards Rayne with men other than Jerry. I can't wait to see what's going on with Liam and Charlee.

I enjoyed this story that featured Jerry Jenkins and Rayne Ellison. I particularly liked how Jerry patiently and strategically pursued Rayne. He had to overcome a well-known reputation as a “playa”., and at the same time convince everyone who knew him that Rayne was the reason he was a changed man. Rayne’s struggle was real, and I admired her character as a survivor. I also liked the role of Jerry’s mother, Violet, who offers sage advice to both the hero & heroine. I loved the HEA, and I recommend this story.

After being conned and cheated on by her late husband Kirk, Rayne Ellison decided she was DONE with playboys and definitely needed a new start. She meets and develops a friendship with her fine ass neighbor Jerry Jenkins. Hearing about his philandering ways, she immediately throws him in the friend zone but Jerry has no plans of staying there permanently. Jerry knew immediately that he wanted Rayne and her daughter Stormy as permanent fixtures in his life,he made it no secret and was determined to make it happen. I loved me some Jerry! I know he had his man whoring way, but I felt his love for them was the real deal.He was kind, loving and compassionate. He went out of his way multiple times to make sure that their needs was met. He pursued Rayne with determination, he didn’t judge her past and his actions indicated he wanted to be a major part of their future. The way he loved on little Stormy was absolutely beautiful. His love for her leaped from the pages and there was no denying that she was his heart. I liked Rayne a lot. I felt she was a bit whiny at times but her strength and perseverance helped me tolerate her a little more LOL! As a single mom myself, I saw myself in her and I hoped she would be open to the love that Jerry was offering; but I also understood why she was so hesitant. It’s scary dating as a single mom. Seeing Rayne and Story receive the love of a good man made me happy and made the story all the more relatable. The only issues I had with this book was the lack of backstory between Rayne and her sister. It was implied that their relationship was strained, I thought seeing her sister again on the trip to San-Antonio was the opening to explore the awkwardness between them but we got nothing. Overall, this was a cute story and I am glad I didn’t give up on it. If you love stories about single mothers who receive the love their deserve, this would be a great read.

Rayne has been dealt a hard hand in life, being cheated on by her late husband and faced with the debt he and his mistresses left in their wake for her to deal with along with taking care of her daughter, Stormy. She meets her next door neighbor, Jerry and the sparks fly. Jerry is ready to hang up his player card, but Rayne keeps rejecting his advances. He wants Rayne to be his special lady along with being a father to Stormy. You will LOVE this read as Jerry wins Story and Rayne's hearts.

It was great getting a male view of love.

Getting a perspective on love was great, knowing they sometimes go through doubts and fears too. But as long as you have family everything going to be alright.

I loved the book. I loved Jerry's story. He gave up his playa status for the heart of one woman. The way he treated her child++++, one of the key factors to a womans heart. I have much respect for the man he became.

I love the Jenkins family series and have read every book so far and I'm never disappointed. Rayne and Jerry's story was no exception I loved seeing the evolution of the Playboy. Rayne was a little love scorned but I'm glad she took the chance on love.

Sharon came thru with Jerry's story

If you've read the Jenkins & Sons Construction series, you like me have been waiting for Jerry's story. Let's just start off top with Sharon wrote the heck out of this story. Like she literary made you feel every emotion. What you love most is that Family is just not a noun but it's an action. From the siblings to the parents.

But let's get to Jerry and Rayne's story. Can we say compassion, passion, determination, willingness and respect. Jerry is what we all know to be turn. A man can be many things to many women but when he's found the one, he'll never let her go. From his understanding nature to Rayne's past. To the love he shows Stormy. Which has down endeared me to him. Jerry is growth goals.

Rayne is the epitome of overcomer. She is strong and loving. Remembering her troubled relationships had you feeling empathetic. Her relationship with her daughter shows that one doesn't have to repeat mistakes.

The sub characters especially Violet, Jerry's mom added that link of retalatability that is often overlooked.

You'll enjoy this story. It's a page turned. From a strong family to love that knows no boundaries. You'll smile throughout.

Great job Sharon.

Plus Sized Let Down

I wanted to love this book. Like really really wanted to but I just couldn't. I felt the author had a chance to tell a story that's normally not explored. The lead in the story whined and woes me throughout the story. For once can we get a story where the plus sized woman is together and confident and upbeat. Geez

When true love calls!

Jerry Jenkins of the famous Cincinnati Construction company owners got one look at his beautiful new neighbor Rayne Ellison and her adorable little girl Stormy and he was instantly in love. Unfortunately his previous reputation as a bona fide player preceded his new found desire to change his behavior to show the beautiful Rayne that his heart and his focus is squarely on her and her little girl. Many things transpire to derail their budding romance from former women hell-bent on getting him back with them to battling the fallout from the troublesome childhood and former marriage of our heroine Rayne. Despite obstacles to the contrary our hero and heroine finally reached their happily ever after. As always Ms Cooper you have another blockbuster on your hands! This is a really excellent story and I am so glad to have been able to read and enjoy Jerry and Rayne's story.

A feel good story

A Lesson on love is a great read. I absolutely love the Jenkins family. This family is a family after my own heart. This book deals with Rayne who had a very hard upbringing and an even worst adulthood thus far. Rayne was a single broken parent who needed to be shown love. Jerry has totally redeemed himself in this book. Rayne and Jerry's love is a beautiful thing to watch unfold. Take a chance to read it, this is a great read.

More please!

Just love the Jenkins family. Love the continuation of this series. Also love the inclusion of Martina’s antics. It would have been nice to hear from Peyton since Jerry got on her nerves so by not living up to his potential or her expectations in the past. Looking forward to Liam and Charlee’s story.

Second Time Around

The love shown to Ryane, when she was at her lowest point was heartwarming. The Jenkins family never gave up on her. I enjoyed watching her grow from being afraid to speak to not on my watch.

Another Smashing Hit

Sharon you have done it again with Lessons On Love. The love story between Rayne, Stormy and Jerry was wobderful. Rayne was a woman hurt and best down by life and a cheating no good husband she needed th love of Jerry Jenkins and the Jenkins clan in the worst way. Stormy was simply the sweetest thing ever, and Jerry's mother Violet was absolutely amazing. Jerry grew from the spoiled baby of the family to a grown man taking care of and providing for a family. Each Jenkins story gets better and better, not sure how you do it Sharon but keep the stories coming.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review all the way.
