Meet one of your favorite Sesame Street friends in this adorable photographic board book!
Say hello and learn all about Abby Cadabby in a Sesame Street board book illustrated with bold, bright photographs. As babies and toddlers pore over the many colorful, sturdy pages, they will delight in seeing Abby Cadabby--the little fairy-in-training--try her magical spells, play with her favorite frog-prince doll, have fun with friends, and much more!
This is Heather's new favorite book. We have borrowed it from the library multiple times because she asks for it frequently. She loves the page that says Elmo and Abby are "best friends!" and the part where Abby turns things into pumpkins. ("Silly Abby!") We will probably buy this soon so Heather can have it available whenever her little heart desires. And I hope she has a best friend someday, too, just like Abby and Elmo.
A book about Abby, one of the Sesame Street friends. The book has very colorful illustrations of Abby. There is very little story line but the 2 year old I read it to is a fan of Abby and loves the book.
Her parents like it as a bedtime story since it is a favorite and quick to read!
I love the Sesame Street intro series. And I always look forward to the turn-it-sideways image. I was unfamiliar with Abby, but this filled in the blanks, including that she makes mistakes. But her friends still love her anyway.
Abby was added more recently and I am not sure how her magical powers add to the Sesame Street community. She sounds a little ditzy but I like that they empowered making mistakes.
This book series is so sweet! A dear friend bought us the elmo book and somehow we have ALL of them now. Between Elmo and the Count, we read those two easily 100 times each and then needed to have a few other books in the rotation.
I like the Abby book, but in comparison to the other stories, this one and Cookie monster's story are just a little too simple. I wish they would've given her a few additional words, and a bit more meaning. I have a feeling our toddler would've liked the story more then.
