Surprisingly well-written for a fan-fiction story. It's very simple for kids to follow, but engaging enough for an older audience too. I like what the author did with Steve. The supporting characters are great: A pigman and a creeper creature (exploding monster).

I was able to enjoy Dave the Villager part 1 with only basic Minecraft knowledge. I've never played the videogame. At the time of this short review it was available on kindle unlimited.
