One of my top favorite MC romance series EVER! And the box set includes a bonus story which will lead to a new spin-off series!!

LOCK & KEY:
5++++ stars!!!

Once in a while, a book comes along that absolutely throws you for a loop and knocks your socks off and I'm happy to say LOCK & KEY is one of those books. A story about a 42-year-old heroine who has sacrificed her whole life to the One-Eyed Jacks MC, LOCK & KEY is hot, sexy, thrilling, perfectly written and filled with characters that I won't soon forget.

Grace and Lock meet right at the beginning of the story and sparks fly. They are both damaged and not looking to connect with another human being on any kind of meaningful level. They spend an incredibly HOT night together ((hello, ice cube scene!!), thinking they'll never see each other again, but boy, are they dead wrong.

I fell in love with Lock, he is one bad-ass biker but he knows a good thing is right in front of him. The problem is, will he realize what a treasure Grace is before she slips away?

"I had my dream on my hands and in my mouth, and I never fucking realized.”

This story is perfectly told in both a combination of flashbacks and alternating POVs. The book unfolds like a flower petal, layer by layer peeled away until the reader is left incredibly satisfied at the end. This is a long and meaty book, filled with plenty of drama and scorching hot sex scenes, but I literally could not put it down until the very end. Ms. Porter has created a world of memorable characters, Alpha bikers, strong and feisty women and a solid story that will stay with me for a long time to come.

I highlighted half the book but instead I am "borrowing" the author's teasers. This is an original and very creative story so I don't want to give any of the plot away. Add Lock & Key to your TBR list immediately! This is a must-read book for all fans of strong writing, characters with backbone and beautiful stories about the importance of family and second-chance love. Ms. Porter deserves a place among Joanna Wylde, Madeline Sheehan and dare I say Ms. Kristen Ashley with her absolutely incredible debut MC romance book. Go meet Grace and Lock. I know you will be as captivated as I was.

RANDOM & RARE

How can that rare beautiful be rendered irrelevant, intangible when I still feel so damn much?

I can’t even find the words to describe how much I loved this book. Random & Rare is one of those “rare” books that I actually read slowly because I just didn’t want the story to end. Sexy, incredibly thrilling, creative, emotional, uplifting – this book has it all. I really didn’t think anything could match the power and beauty in Lock & Key but the author did it again.

Cat Porter is the real deal. She really touched me with this book. The first part of this story is told by Dig. Yes, that is Grace’s husband. I never imagined that he could have so much to say, and that his story would get under my skin in the way that it did. Dig and Grace are quite literally soul mates, destined to be together and fiercely loyal to each other always.

You might think you know Grace and Dig’s story from Lock & Key, but there is so much more to their history! I thought that I loved Miller, but Dig, oh my God, he stole my heart forever. I do not often cry during books (I read a LOT), but Random & Rare reached right down into my heart and squeezed tight.

“My hand stretched out over the warm skin of her stomach. Grace’s body was our temple, our bit of holy, where both of us connected and exploded together in some sort of glorious, furious symphony. Her skin was still flush with the pleasure I’d just given her, and my mark stained the skin on her sweet ass. Forever.”

Dig’s life is not easy. He is a member of a rough MC and he is a trusted officer of the club. But nothing is at it seems and every action has a reaction and a consequence. Cat Porter is a gifted storyteller and all the threads of both books are woven together here into a beautiful, sexy, satisfying and explosive conclusion.

“You’re in my bones, Grace. Can’t stand straight without you, baby. Can’t.”

Dig is a fatalist, and his life is a very gritty one. But he loves Grace with all his heart and tries his best to shield her from his violent world. Trust me, their story did not end in Lock & Key and if you love MC stories, Cat Porter is an absolute one-click author. You will fall in love with the characters from these books and will not soon forget them.

IRON & BONE:

Cat Porter has written a magical, intense, sexy and incredibly satisfying story. Boner made my heart race and captured my soul!

"You reminded me that there’s still magic,” he whispered roughly. “That there are things of wonder still left to experience.”

I am a HUGE fan of MC Romance books and Cat Porter is at the top of my list of favorite authors in this genre! Lock & Key, the first book in this series, remains one of my all-time favorite books. Random & Rare contented the experience of her absolutely flawless writing and now we have the third book in the series, which is Boner and Jill's story.

Boner is a total bad-ass, who has been attracted to Jill for a long time but won't act on it. He's too old for her; she isn't sure she wants to go back to club life again; etc. etc. Jill had been with Catch, another biker and the father of her child, and it ended badly. But who can resist Boner, the sexy biker with a painful past? And how he got his road name...well, you'll have to read for yourself! It's not what you think. I fell in love with him and hoped that Jill could help him overcome his demons.

"Was I only pieces patched together by a leather vest?"

Even though Boner think Jill is off-limits, he offers her his protection and let's just say things progress from there. At first, their "relationship" is just for show but since this is a romance after all, they both quickly come to realize they have real feelings for each other. And the Victoria's Secret scene? Oh my God!!! My favorite.

I loved reading about Boner's painful past and the action scenes are fantastic. While this doesn't knock out Lock & Key as one of my all-time favorite books, it is a fantastic, sexy, fast-paced and passionate story which I enjoyed immensely. The Epilogue was superb! All in all, Iron & Bone is another must-read book from the incredibly talented Cat Porter.

BLOOD & RUST:

BLOOD & RUST is one of those books that I read slowly because I didn't want it to end!! The fourth book in the Lock & Key series is a gorgeous, very adult and very sexy story of two souls who are looking for redemption and happiness. Cat Porter is hands-down one of my very favorite writers and she has bought yet another beautiful story to life.

I can't recommend this series highly enough. Filled with memorable characters, lasting relationships and incredible writing, each book is a treasure. So you could read BLOOD & RUST as a standalone, but these books are fantastic and intricately written so you will get a real flavor of the history of each character and of club life.

Tania and Butler are both looking for a fresh start in South Dakota. Butler has led a rough life, filled with terrible mistakes and tragedy. He is much older now, and is trying to rebuild the loyalty and trust of his brothers, He will do anything to work his way back into the good graces of the club, even if that means giving up his chance at love and happiness. He is a tragic figure, and he broke my heart!! One of the things I adore about Cat Port is that her protagonists are older and have lived a very full life.

Tania had a brief but unforgettable encounter with Butler years earlier. Now they are both trying to start new in Meager, South Dakota. Tania has left an empty and soulless marriage behind, and is finally pursuing her passion. She knows she behaved badly with Butler all those years before, but will he be bale to overcome his past demons and give her the love she deserves? Will Tania be able to overcome the alomst-insumountable obstacles that stand in the way of her happiness?

"We kissed like enemies clanging swords on a battlefield littered with our dead. We were the only survivors locked in the final battle, both of us knowing there would be no victors."

I absolutely fell in love with Butler!! No one writes a tortured hero like Cat Porter. He is very complex and truly believes that real love is outside his grasp. He has put aside his own personal happiness for the sake of the club. This is a slow-burn romance which only makes things all the sweeter when Butler and Tania finally get together. These are two very mature adults who know what they want and Butler is ALL about pleasing his queen Tania.

He still had that rugged rough and tumble exterior, but now, he was...intriguing. The kind of intriguing that was making my toes curl and my purse jump at this very moment.

The banter in this book is priceless and no detail is overlooked!! I loved how the setting of South Dakota is almost another character in the book. The scenery is described in very vivid detail. The ending for these characters was just perfect. If you are a fan of MC romance, then this entire series is a must-read!! Now I will wait impatiently for more stories from this incredible storyteller.

I love that the amazing Cat Porter put the Lock & Key series in one Box Set, because it's so addictive that reading them all in a row was a great treat.

Lock & Key (Book 1) is Grace & Lock's story. See Grace was Dig's old Lady until things went south, and he was killed. She ended up on the run basically, until a family issue brought her back home. This is when she met Lock, and they hit it off in a very HOT fashion. Their chemistry was insane which made for sexy times that lit the sheets on fire. Next time they meet is at his MC, that same MC where she lived with her husband. This story was so emotional for me, as it broke my heart, not to mention pissed me straight off more than once. Yeah, I was a hot mess, and not as forgiving as Grace to be honest.

Random & Rare (Book 2) tells the story of Grace & Jake, her first husband, told from his POV as Dig (his road name), plus wraps up Grace & Locks story. It's as emotional as Book 1 to be honest, and I couldn't get enough.

Iron & Bone (Book 3) is Bone & Jill's story. I started out with this story long ago, so I'll just post that review now. WOW! I'm not sure why it took me so long to read this author, but better late than never! I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this story! Jill hasn't had the easiest time in life, with getting kidnapped, and then becoming an old lady of a cheater. She has moved in with her mother-in-law, Rae, with her daughter in order to help her. Oh and she's also carrying Grace and Lock's baby. She's happy now in this new chapter of her life, but she still feels that connection with Boner that isn't going away. Boner has a ton of demons that he carries around. He feels the connection with Jill, but doesn't think he will ever be good enough for her. When her ex comes to town, he's forced to declare her his "old lady" to protect her, but his feelings are getting stronger. Will Jill and Boner get a second chance at happiness with each other?

I devoured this book in one sitting. The character development is fantastic, as we get flashes of how these two people got where they are now. A fast paced, exciting, and well written story line flows effortlessly. The chemistry is off the charts HOT, with SCORCHIN' sexy scene goodness, and well placed humor that had me rolling. Cat Porter does an amazing job at getting me from the beginning, and keeping my heart racing cover to cover. I'm so glad that I finally read her as I'm a big new fan, and CANNOT WAIT to read more of her SMOKIN' HOT bikers. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Blood & Rust (Book 4) is Butler & Tania's story. It's the final book in the series, and it's great. Not because I liked either of them at the beginning, but because by the end, I did. See, Butler didn't win any love from me from previous books, and neither did Tania. You would have to read those to understand. But I can say this, Butler's demons are realistic, as he had a difficult past riddled with addictions, and Ms. Porter definitely wrote it with raw & gritty detail. It wasn't easily overcome, but with a journey that took work. There's also a ton of twists that kept the f-bombs dropping like crazy, which is always a hit with me!

This is a fantastic series that I couldn't get enough of! So all that's left for me to do is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This series is one of my absolute favorite MC series. I’ve read it multiple times and it never gets old. I loved each and every one of these books and feel truly connected to each character. My heart was torn to shreds especially in Random & Rare. That’s my favorite book in the series. Cat Porter is an amazing writer. She’s a soulful writer. You can tell she gives her all with every word. I love how all the characters are connected in so many ways. Cat Porter is definitely a 1-click author for me. I just can’t get enough.

I bought this boxset on a whim when it was on sale, having never read a Cat Porter book. Let me tell you, it was one of the best on a whim book purchases I've ever made.
I absolutely loved this entire series. It had the grittiness and roughness you expect from a MC series but it also had such intense love stories.

The characters had such depth to them that you couldn't help but become entranced within this world that was being created. I kept sneaking time to read because I needed to know how these stories played out. I needed to know their ending.

Cat Porter's way of blending the past and present in the stories was so seamless but it provided so much more to the characters and their life stories.

I loved every character in this story. Lock and Grace, Boner and Jill, Butler and Tania, even Catch and Nina. They all had an epic love story to be told.

Now...it's onto Fury. Because...well...Finger.

Wow, What A Ride...

I was first introduced to Cat Porter by a friend whom had bought Wolfsgate only to be given a second copy so she gave me one to read. I loved it. I loved the writing style. I loved the easy way the book read. The characters were great.

I had brought the box set a while ago and had been meaning to read this series for a while now. After reading Wolfsgate I wanted to jump right in straight away. Man I was not disappointed.

LOCK & KEY - Book 1 - Lock/Millar & Grace

Couldn't start a series off with a better book than this one. Totally loved it even with the sad parts along the way.

I couldn't help but love Grace right from the get go. She was one strong Lady and as the story went along my opinion of her grew. Along with the love she had for Dig early on she also had to endure heart break and then isolation as well and for a freaking long time.

Then we get to meet Lock (Millar) and man what a hotty he was from the start. His and Graces chemistry was off the charts hot. It was sad to read parts of his back story as well and so when him and Grace got together early in this book it was electric straight away between them.

And then there was Dig. The jumping back in time and getting Grace and Digs story from her POV was really nice. When you find love you certainly know it and with these two, they certainly had it.

I loved the twist and turns that came with this story. Then Butler gets thrown in the mix which threw everything around. Which I found a good twist to this story. Couldn't have it too easy could we!

To top off a great story with really great lead characters is having great secondary characters and this story had them. Boner was a lovely character and I look forward to his story. I loved Tania, she was a fire cracker. Butler also grabbed me the poor lost soul. Jill as well and the list went on.

Ultimately when Grace and Millar came together after all the twist and turns was lovely to read. Not only was Grace lucky enough to have found one soul mate in her life time but to find another one in Millar was amazing. And them together was beautiful to read.

RANDOM & RARE - Book 2 - Dig & Grace & Lock

The beginning this story threw me to have Dig and Graces story told all over again but from Digs POV. Well for the first part any way. It was great to read more from Dig. Read more about Wreck and How Millar came to be etc. Filled in a few more bits of their picture. He was such a great guy and loved Grace so much it was lovely to read.

Tania was a great addition to this story and gave it more depth. Jill, Catch and Finger all additional characters coming into the mix was great as well. So many clubs here and there.

I loved what Jill did for Grace and Lock. It was a great second book and for Lock and Grace to really get their HEA was really amazing to read and have Dig finally being able to let go as well was a nice touch.

IRON & BONE - Book 3 - Boner and Jill

I enjoyed this book and these two coming together. Oh and Becca lol Cute!!

Boner had been a constant character from the beginning and seemed like a great person for both Dig and Grace. It was great to find out more about Boner in this story and more of his back story. Filled in a lot.

Jill was an amazing character and loved her and Digs/Boners connection. Jill just had this amazing energy and nothing got her down. Even the way she stuck up for herself with Catch when he found out she was pregnant with Grace and Locks baby.

It was great to read these two together. I love, love, loved it. Considering how much Boner had stored in his heart nd his hurt from Ines and what happened earlier in his life.

I loved the epilogue in this story. So much soppy happy love for this little family. A great 3rd book.

BLOOD & RUST - Book 4 - Butler/Markus & Tania

Really loved this book and these two characters together so very much.

We got to know Butler and more of Tania through the previous three books but I was hanging out for this couple. And I wasn't disappointed. At all!!

Getting more of the back stories of these two was great to get a fuller picture which of course just made you want to hug these two more and more.

I loved Tania and Graces friendship and of course Butler and his brothers. Getting more of these all other was great to read.

The twist I didn't see coming was how Finger fitted into Tanias story and I kept waiting for it to come out but it never did which has me intrigued on where it will come out.

I loved these two together from the start. Well from the second time they come together ;-) The first time was interesting to say the least.

These two just clicked and I have to say I had a soft spot for Butler since book 2 so yay he got his girl and the love he deserved and same with Tania to have her man love her back the way she should have was so nice to read.

I loved how this story came to a close and how Butler proposed and them getting married on the beach. A great way to finish.

Lock & Key by Cat Porter contains the complete series in one and I can't say how much I appreciate that now all books are available in one box set.
Book one Lock & Key tells Grace and Lock's story. Grace Quillen is an ex-old lady, a widow. She left many years ago and is back only shortly to tend to her very ill sister. And now she's back on the MC's rardar.
Miller - Lock - Flies as an Eagle has had an crush on this beautiful stranger for a long time. And now she's here in flesh and blood. He knows she's his one and he wants her, simply as that. He does everything, literally everything to win her over.
Lock & Key is an emotional read that had me in tears more than one time. I loved the writing - it's excellent and the story is more than captivating. 5 stars.

Random & Rare is book two and tells Grace and Jake - Dig's story. Dig is Grace's first husband and they loved each other very deeply. He got killed and Grace was severely wounded. The story is told from Dig's POV. It's a hard earned and well deserved HEA and the conclusion to Grace and Miller's story. 4,25 stars.

Iron & Bone is book three in this series of standalones and tells B. and Jill's complicated story. There are a lot of characters, a lot of plotting and sheming and so many lines I nearly gave me whiplash. But the story is a great one and I liked it, very much. 4 hot stars for the Seargant at Arms and Jillie.

Book four Blood & Rust is the fourth and last book in the series and tells Butler and Tania's story. In the previous books I didn't care much for Tania. She's too feisty, too loudmouth and too bitter. Butler is an hot ex pres, who dealt with his addiction and his rough past in a spectacular way. He's all better now and he wants Tania, why?? I don't know, but the heart wants what the hearts want. There are a lot of unxpected twists and turns, they kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
All in all, a fantastic box set, I give 5 stars and recommend Lock& Key 1-4.

Fantastic series

This was a really great series following three main coupled who's lives are intertwined by a series of events. These books are not your usual romance, they are hard, gritty and heartbreaking. I cried a few tears.
First book was about Grace a widow in a self imposed exile from the club after her husband/old man is murdered. Her return and her relationship with Lock.
Second book I could have done without but it gave the back story from Digs POV Grace's first husband.
Third book was Jill and Boner. Dig had saved a teenage Jill from a drug dealer that had kidnapped her which ended in Dig being murdered. She had lived with her guilt for a long time.
Fourth book Tania she is Grace's best friend and Butler, these two had a long road to hoe. We get to understand some more of the dynamics between the two waring clubs.
Thoroughly enjoyed this series and I'm looking forward to reading Fingers book.

Love burns bright

I can't do books that voyage through the storms of life. I don't want to feel the pain & heartbreak before reading the HEA. I want fast, easy resolutions. I want escapism with unicorn sprinkles. But, Cat Porter, you have dragged me on a voyage filled with tearful wonder. The lives of these men & women in various CMs have twisted into destruction, choked in revelations, or entwined in devotion & love. I cried. I worried. I sighed. And I smiled. The culmination of Dig + Jill + Grace + Lock was breathtakingly beautiful. The epilogue of Dig left me swallowing sobs of grief & hope. How did you write a book, Cat Porter, that I expected to be a DNF, but became one the best MC books I've ever read?!! That includes your book "Fury". I am in awe.

I already own each one of the 4 books in this boxset but I love having them in one place, so of course I had to buy them again! If you love a long and enduring saga of friendships, romance, heartbreak and a lot of action/drama...then this is the series for you. Cat Porter infuses the dangerous biker lifestyle with a lot of everyday "citizens" and keeps the emotions at a high volume. There is plenty of violence, sex and also, down-to-earth "real" relationships and I just fell in love with all of the characters (even the ones you want to hate). Grab this one while it's on sale...you won't regret it.

Cat Porter wrote stories that the reader will feel long after they finish it. From the very beginning to the very end, these books had my emotions on rollercoaster edge. Lock & Key - The Complete Series was the most heartbreaking and emotional series I've read in all my years of reading. These stories were filled with gut-wrenching emotions and shattered my heart so many times, I couldn't hold back my tears. Ms. Porter has the ability to let her readers experience the journey of her characters right along with her. Each story in the Lock & Key Series are unforgettable second chance romance stories that tell a story of love and pain, fate and circumstances, forgiveness and hope.

You SHOULD NOT Miss THIS!

It's worth the book hangovers! The broken hearts, drama, squabbles and happy endings ARE worthy of the sleeplessness, missed/late for appointments.

A definite must read series!

This was an intense, intriguing, and wild ride of a series that I truly enjoyed. These books have been on my TBR list for a while, but recently I realized that I needed to get back to the older ones that I had been wanting to read. I am thrilled that I have started reading these because they've brought me awesome stories like this series. I can't wait to read the next novella in the series, and then the other books that are a spin-off to this series! It's certainly a series that you won't want to miss!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and fantastic author.

Fabulous read!!!!

This series was phenomenal! The character building and raw grit of an MC world really struck me. I couldn’t stop reading this series! I truly was enthralled and enjoyed the good, bad and ugly of each characters lives. The way Porter described the lifestyle and behind the scenes live and loss was amazing. I’d recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good, solid story built on live, loss, trust, brotherhood and family that you choose. So much real life going on in this series. Thank you Cat Porter for creating this masterpiece.

Wow what an amazing series. Cat Porter is a truly gifted author, these books are the complete package. Heartfelt emotionally charged tales with gripping, twisted plot lines that keep you engaged throughout. Even when you are revisiting an event that took place in an earlier book, the story stayed fresh and details were revealed that had not previously been disclosed. Clever writing with believable well developed characters. One of the best MC series I have read of late.

One eyed jacks

This story builds you up and tears you down. It is an emotional ride. The first book introduces us to Grace and Dig and their story, which is where the emotions start. In book one you meet all the main characters from the rest of the series. It took me a while to finish the series, I kept coming back to it though. If you like MC stories, this one has all the excitement.

Enthralling

Weaving the story through the Black Hills was intriguing and kept me reading to get another glimpse of Deadwood or Pine Needle, or anyone of the beautiful vistas. Intriguing and excellent deep characters and storylines throughout all the series kept me reading till the end, couldn't put it down!

Cat is an amazing author, and was able to capture me from the start of each book.

Harleys and the Highway

Cat Porter's descriptions of riding are spot on! While there were shades of n MC television series, I was more impressed with the authors ability to make me see the colors of the skies and surrounding countryside. I'm from Nebraska...Porter knows her states' backgrounds.

Incredible book series

I absolutely loved them all but my favorite was the last Story such a story on second chances at truth happiness. This series isn't all sun rise and rainbows as the description states but it was outstanding all the same!

Very satisfying books

New author for me, got the series on a whim, I’m so glad I did. I’ve never read a MC series so emotionally satisfying. I loved the characters, how the stories wove together.
