This book is about a boy named Jordan who has a hearing impairment. When you read the book it is written as if he is talking directly to you. It talks about his hearing aide and all the things he is able to do, even though he is deaf. The story makes being deaf relatable to the children and easy to understand. He talks about it like it's no big deal, he still gets to do everything he wants.
This would be a great book for my students to read by themselves even to learn about someone like them with a disability and how well he does.

This would be great for all my students (2nd-3rd grade).
