At an introductory level this book presents the topics in deep. Every chapter starts with the story of some people which is very good in understanding the subject. The images are also helpful which makes the reading fun. You will never feel bored while reading this book. One more thing that makes it different from other book is that it also present the subject in the historical perspective. On time to time some autobiographical details of famous psychologists are also given. At the end of each chapter you will find a section called "psych for your life" which tells how psychology can be helpful in our everyday life for e.g. how to study effectively, how to prevent suicide of someone etc.

Very well organized. I loved the examples and case studies found in the margins.

Since I read every chapter and it halted my pleasure reading i'm counting it as a book towards my reading challenge.
