The more I read about The Flash world, the more I don't want to read it.
The Speed force world feels like the quantum world of Antman, except that the speed force really feel like it was never developed past the initial inception of it decades ago.
It just doesn't make a lot of sense on a scientific fantasy level.
But I'll read this Flash stuff whenever it's in a tie in anyway, I can't skip.
So then, who is that blue guy?

I am here to read a bit more about Impulse, that's it; but the plot seems to be quite interesting...

Great issue, the pacing was good, it ties Heroes in Crisis with the main Flash book/plot and also it introduces Bart in a cool way.

Also it ends with a cool cliffhanger teasing a mysterious villain.

Not the reunion I wanted, and Impulse should never be consider a guest star in Flash comic book. Either way Williamson proves why he has been on this book for four years, he is an amazing writer, even though the serie has had it’s bumps. There two emotional moments where heart tearing and well written. Love how the character of Wallace is developing and the dynamic of this new Flash family, I miss the old one a lot though. Bart was well written and I believe that the new young justice serie should take some tips from this comic. Bart is a fun character, but it’s been a long time since he develop from the impulsive immaturity of the 90s and early 2000s.

Flash Annual 2
DC, 2019

Intro ties into the DC series “Heroes in Crisis.” Check the reviews before purchasing that series. You’ve been warned.

In the Speed Force, Barry hunts for Wally. Enter Godspeed. Godspeed tells Barry, “… I need you to trust me.”

Godspeed tells the gathered Speedsters that “Wally West is Dead.” See “Heroes in Crisis.”

Barry tells Iris about Wally. Great two-page spread of Barry comforting Iris.

Cut to Godspeed talking to an unrevealed someone. Nice teaser.

Best quote:
Godspeed – “The Future needs saving.”

I like Scott Kolins art.

To be continued in The Flash series in 2019.

I probably would've just skipped this comic in the store but the one thing on the cover that caught my eye was Impulse. After I read it I really liked it!

[Langston Lardi]

My fiancé got me this book, first ever book/comic book she ever got me, immediately a 5/5 stars. Even have it framed above my head of the bed.
