Max Turner has been an all star cheerleader for three years. She's won trophy, rings, and enough championship sweatshirts to fill a life time. But there is one thing she is still missing. An NCA jacket. After her teams second place finish at Worlds the year before she is certain they are coming back stronger than ever, and sure to win. But, when things start to get rocky with the people who support her the most, Max begins to struggle to keep her focus where it matters the most: on the cheer mat. Not wanting to let her team down, Max has to made a decision and fast. Will she let her emotions get the best of her, or will she claim the top spot she's been working for all season? With only two and a half minutes to prove her team deserves to win, Max will have to push like never before to make her dreams become a reality.
Dana Burkey is a self-published author living in Bellingham, Washington. She has been enjoying her time in the Pacific North-West since 2009, making her move there after graduating from Youngstown State University in Ohio. She began self-publishing young adult fiction in August of 2014, and is most known for her TNT Force Cheer Series.
