What If
When blind date number twenty-eight turned into a barfight with me throwing the first punch, I was about ready to give up on the idea of love. That’s when a six-foot four wall of muscle scooped me up, took over my fight and made sure number twenty-eight got a lesson in how to treat a lady.

It took 28 dates
Jessie met Torin during date date 28. She kicked a guy he saved her and that is that. This is their story. Jessie works in a bakery and writes Romance books. Torin is a cop. She has a past but is afraid to tell him. This book was steamy sexy with a lot of suspense. I loved it.

Pretty good book.
Jessie a writer/baker is on her 28th blind date.m she hates it and she really doesn't wanna go but she sucks it up and goes because this could be the one. And it isn't the guy is rude, handys and a asshole so when he gets to grabby she punches him.. and before more can happen shes saved by Torin who puts the guy in his place.
Sparks fly between them and it goes from 0 to 100!! They are in love and well Jessies pass comes back to bite her in the ass..
Now i get why she didn't tell Torin right away since he is a cop and her anxiety, but she was arrested long long time ago that wasn't her fault her asshole boyfriend set her up.. now she's being arrested again, she tries to do the right thing and distance herself from Torin but he doesn't.. thats his woman and he shall take care of everything.
No ow drama & om drama, slight secondary chara, no cheating, Drama, sexy times, no virgins or manwhore guy

Loved
I really loved this story. This is the story of Torin and Jessie. I really loved both of these characters, they were amazing. Torin knows the minute he sees Jessie that she is something special and he has to get closer to her. Jessie is attracted to Torin but is a tad more cautious but can’t deny their explosive chemistry. They definitely had some hurdles to jump over to reach their finish line and the outcome was a little out there but I loved it anyways. Torin is absolutely swoon worthy and irresistible!

This story was completely safe. Both are not virgins but have been celibate for years. There is drama with an om who Jessie had one date with. There is no abuse!

I really really loved this book so much I was captured by these two from the first page.
Jessie is a successful romance writer who is making it on her own after an incident in her past that she would rather forget so she has buried herself in her writing and working part time in a bakery. And that is how she finds herself on yet another blind date and after a promising start when she arrives at the bar she spots Torin and thinks he is her date only to be disappointed when the real one turns up and she finds herself wishing for the night to end especially as he thinks he can put his hands where he wants…. She is saved from the worst date of her life by the guy she has been lusting after and the chemistry fires between them like neither have ever experienced before and she falls fast for him but she has kept her past a secret and it may destroy any future they have especially after recent developments. She is left with the only thing she can do cut him out of her life.
Torin is super-hot and oh so alpha, from the moment he sees Jessie he sees his future and there is no way he is going to let her go anywhere especially when he observes her date touch her inappropriately he steps in and from that moment on he knows that he will never let her go. But when it seems that others have a different plan that could lose him the future that he so desperately wants.
Both characters were intense although Torin was way way obsessive I still loved him, both seem a little sad and the way their stories were written was with care in subjects that can be hard. Jessie’s parents are awful people and didn’t really understand their relevance to the story if I am honest but I recommend this book highly.

What If was a quick, steamy read I enjoyed from the beginning until the end.
But I didn't see the connection between the actual story and its book title—beside it being mentioned in the story quite a couple times.

This is my favourite read from this author. It had the insta love I expect from her stories but this one had lots more feelings and plot twists. I really enjoyed it & Torin is all kinds of delicious 🔥

Sweet and passionate romance is good medicine for the soul.
Sometimes I delight in a love story that doesn't dwell on doubt or negativity. This romance between a bearded, well-endowed cop and a curvy, quirky romance writer is full of spark, insta-feeligns, protective alpha male mode and no-barriers sensuality.
From the first scene, where a blind date gone wrong turns into a feisty fun meet-cute, this unusal couple hits it big time. She has finally found a guy that excites and moves her, and he's completely obsessed with making her happy, protecting her, supporting her in every little detail of her day, while giving her the most delicious big O's of her life :-D
Then, oh my friends, then the sugar takes a twist into drama land that got my poor heart in knots. Imagine having found your happiness only to have it snatched away by force and injustice! Torin and Jessie are so much in love, but they are separated by cruel fate. I loved the words that described their struggle, their impotence, the terrible emotional storm, like a monster trying to destroy not only their bond, but their sanity.
I'd not anticipated such drama or the delicate issues it explores. I think this story caters to our soft and sexy side as much as to the romantic and dramatic side.

I absolutely loved this story and the characters are wonderful. Jessie is out for blind date number twenty-eight and she's not too optimistic. When she sees Torin, a gorgeous mountain of a man reading a book in the bar, she's hoping it's her blind date. But if course it's not, instead she gets to sit with Derek and have a miserable time. She's ends up in her first bar fight because Derek can't seem to take no for an answer and Torin rescues her. Things heat up quick between these two, until Jessie's past comes back to haunt her. Will she be able to get Torin to understand about her past? Will she and Torin be able to stay together or will this rip them apart? Grab this book today and find out. It is a heart wrenching and beautiful story, that I highly recommend!!!

I had high hopes for this but I honestly could not finish. I wanted to like this so bad. It started off really good and fell flat fast. I hate insta-love with a passion but this was beyond ridiculous. Torin was way too intense, too soon. It was kinda creepy. If I have a conversation with a man for a few minutes, and that man starts talking about how we're meant to be and he feels something for me that he's never felt wth anyone else, I'm running the other way. The pet names are terrible. The men saying "good girl" to compliment their woman is crap. It needs to stop. I hate it. Did I mention how intense he was? Oh baby don't you know how proud I am of you? I just wanna be good for you? Dude. You just met her yesterday. Stop it!!! I quit after the 5th chapter.

WHAT IF by Dani Wyatt is a phenomenally hot lovestory about Jessie and Torin. Jessie is a romance author and baker who has become a serial blind-dater after a series of epic fails. On her 28th blind date, she was saved from another douche by a sexy detective who came to her rescue. It was insta-love for the both of them, but not without her past trying to haunt her. But Torin was her savior from the moment they met, and with him, she blossomed. Loved this book so much! The story had all the feels, and had me hooked from start to finish. Torin was just so swoonworthy! WHAT IF is already listed as one of my early favorites this year!

Let me start off by saying that I love Dani Wyatt. She's one of my go to authors. I know, without a doubt, that her books are gonna have certain things. A OTT alpha and a HEA. And usually a Instalove connection. Normally, the instalove doesn't bother me. But with this particular H, I found myself skimming the story. Torin came off too intense. I like intense male characters but Torin came off as kinda creepy. It was just too much, too soon. I really liked Jessie's character. Can't stand her mom and stepfather though. Regardless of my opinion on this particular book, I'll definitely read the next book Dani comes out with. Still a fan. Even though the H didn't work for me, I do recommend reading the book. One person's Eww, is another's Ahh..

There are a lot of what if's in this book and they all have an outstanding result!
I absolutely adored this insta love with smoking hot chemistry between the two main characters and the perfect way Dani Wyatt put all the what if's together in order to form a perfect story with an HEA for Torin and Jessica.

When you least expect him, expect him!!
I cannot express how much I LOVED this book. Dani hit this one out of the park. She gave me all of my sinful pleasures in this one. Torin was everything alpha, obsessive, possessive, protective, growls and of course Daddy! All of the characteristics that has me swooning with every page I read. Jessie who is an author writes about HEA but just couldn’t see one for herself, but after a blind date (number twenty eight) she was finally saved from ever looking again. This is a definite must read!! Dani I Love you’re words!!

Oh My GoD!!! I loved this book. I could not stop reading this book. I'm a fan of Ms. Wyatt and I this one is now one of my new favorites from her.

I got a kick out of how Jessie reacts to the bad date and that's when Torin steps in and saves the day. Sparks fly and they are connected in a way no one is coming through. I love all of Dani's books, some more than others, for various reasons. This one got me right from the start, all the the way through. It's up there with Perfect and Kiss Me Goodnight. Fast and furious, hot and steamy with a HEA we've all come to expect. Great combination of characters in this one, not the typical roles, giving us an exciting story along with the romance.

Wow
Now this book is just what I needed. First the story is so...heartfelt and full of truths. Yes it is still a bit over the top and instalove kinda way, but it does not allow you to skirt around the issues.
I found this one refreshing without being to much. I only gave it four stars because of some errors with editing that took you out of the story for a bit. But overall this story is inspiring and makes me smile.

And if anyone asked me to pick my favorite Dani Wyatt book, I'd tell you her newest one, because every new book, is even better then the last! This book was incredible!! OMG!
I loved this! Dani is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. This story between Torin and Jessica is so strong. There are a lot of obstacles for them( and they are big); but done so well. This touches on multiple tough subjects, but they do find their HEA. The subjects are handled and written about with such care.

Short, sweet and hot!
You can always expect a great hot book when it comes to Dani Wyatt and this one definitely delivers on that front. A perfect blend of action, heat and love at first site. True alpha male detective that is hot hot hot in his demeanor. I loved everything about this short read. Great book!

Perfectly Beautiful
This was an amazing read from Dani Wyatt, both characters were perfect i loved Jessie's feistyness and Torin was full alpha and very intense but suited him and the story. This is a true love at first sight read with a brilliant and emotional at times storyline to go along with it 💙💚💛
