Raven

Raven‘s secrets have shaped the woman she is; solitary and closed off. After being let down by the one person that should have always been there, Raven has built her wall up so high, nobody could possibly scale them. She takes care of herself. She has her own back. She might live surrounded by her brother’s club, the Fallen Lords MC, but the family and brotherhood they preach is a load of crap and she isn’t buying any of it.

Clash

Babysitting his president’s baby sister isn’t a hardship. Keeping Raven safe from the Ultra isn’t a problem for a man like Clash either. Keeping her from being destroyed by her inner demons is what threatens to bring him to his knees. When truths come to light and clash with reality, Clash is determined to be the one Raven can count on. Even if she refuses to admit it’s what she needs.

I liked the premise but unfortunately the story did not do anything for me. It wasn't terrible but I wasn't invested in the romance at all which is very important in a romance. Not sure if I want to read anything else in this series later but maybe I will

Clash was the sixth book in in the Fallen Lords MC series by Winter Travers. We met both Raven and Clash in previous books.

Raven was the MC President’s sister (Wrencher). She was basically a prisoner within the MC Compound because her life was in danger and the Fallen Lords were ensuring her safety.

Clash was the MC member currently assigned to Raven. It sounds like an easy job except Raven was fighting the MC at every turn and constantly getting in trouble. Protecting Raven was no easy feat.

I had a tough time getting into this one. It started slow and I kept getting distracted and putting it down so it took me a while to get though it. I really didn’t like Raven. I thought by getting her POV I would get inside her head and begin to like her, but no such luck. She stayed bitchy. Once her secrets came to the surface, it made more sense and a softer side came out at times, but years of being a bitch doesn’t turn around in a day.

I liked Clash. A lot. The storyline didn’t have a ton of drama except what Raven created through her bitchiness, but Travers utilized the crazy girl clan within the MC Old Ladies to add humor in the mix. The bantering between the MC brothers also added humor.

Travers also began to incite curiosity into the remaining single members of the MC for the continuation of the series. Although this wasn’t one of my series favorites, I still loved the series and Travers foreshadowed for an explosive future. Next up is Freak.

And yet another winning read!
Clash is a story about two people who start as hating each other, to becoming friends and then falling in love. Clash is the alpha male biker member of Fallen Lords. He assigned to watch or protect Raven who is Wrecker's (club Pres) younger sister.
Clash and Raven have amazing chemistry from the beginning, its an easy chemistry. They fit together like puzzle pieces. The push and pull isn't there between the characters. Clash is able to break though the walls Raven has erected around her heart. He finds the real heart of Raven she is sassy, sexy , sweet and broken. Clash will pull it all out and help Raven find the pieces that were lost. Clash's character is amazing and have me so much feelings. Clash is on my top 5 of BBF list.
Travers knows how to a write strong alpha men who understand the value of family and friendship. She is an author who can write strong sexy female characters with some crazy antics that will have you laughing out loud. I sometimes wonder where she comes up with this stuff that is in her stories because she blows my mind everytime. The crazy antics aren't though the entire story it's little parts though out the book. Travers characters and stories are good for your soul. This author will make you Laugh, cry and ahhh...and laugh some more. If you haven't read this series I suggest you pick up a copy of Nickel and follow down to Clash. Trust me her stories are worth every penny. Happy Reading!!

Let's start by saying we are enjoying this series as well as this current read.

Clash and Ravens love story was a complicated one as there is more then meets the eye when it comes to Raven and the way she acts as Clash is the only one who is seeing whats below the surface and that she is sad and lonely and hurt but, also that she is hiding something huge and he is just the man that will uncover all her secrets. These two them made such a cute couple together as they had chemistry and sparks but, most of all Clash was able to read Raven to a tee as he new when to push her and when to retreat.

The story brought us tons of laughs .Although the girl gang made us laugh as always the story itself was pretty tame other than the on going MC drama going on in the club itself but, Raven spiced things up a bit but, it was also about healing and second chances which made this one sweet romance read!

I did love how this couple fell in love and it just seemed just so natural like it was a forgone conclusion just when it would happen would be anybody's guess.

Clash's character I found to be protective, kind, caring, and had a sense of humor. He gave us tons of laughs that made us love him all the more.

Raven-I found her to be a bitch at first until we got to know her character than things started making sense about her behavior and then we discovered that she had a heart after all .

The story was and easy one to read and it flowed nicely and kept your interest and brought tons of laughs and giggles and it had a sweet romance,a little bit of drama and a few surprises in the mix to shake things up to make it another great read in this on going series. We really enjoyed this sweet romance read. The characters as always were all amazing they are just a fun bunch to read about.

We loved it and we are so looking forward to the next in this on going series.

It missed the mark for me, though I like that the hero was not a manwhore and was genuinely interested in understanding/taking care of the h.
I could have done with a massive warning about her being a rape victim though, I got blindsided when she talked about it.

Winter Travers, I say this almost every time I read a knew book by you and I always mean it, by the way, but hun you have really out done yourself. the writing alone, just the way everything ran so smoothly together, there wasn't even a dry area. like a stale part in the book. it all flowed so well, it played like and episode of SOA in my head. I know who I want to play bot Clash and Raven.
Clash has been tasked with babysitting his presidents little sister, Raven. she doesn't make it easy and keeps him on toes and guessing what she will do next or what will come out of mouth next. its exciting to see the women give the men a run for their money. but I did feel at times I wanted to slap Raven to go easy on my man Clash. Raven has a hate that is deep I don't even think she knows how to have a hate filled heart anymore. she has this burning hate for her brother that in turn she has a hate for the MC. soon the babysitting turns into more then that and they find that they actually like spending time with each other and have a few things in common.

I honestly didn't know how would I feel once Ravens past was put out in the open and why she hates Wrecker. I wasn't prepared for the out come. I wanted raven to open up and come to grips with everything but at what cost. her soul, clash's soul, Wreckers soul, I mean even my soul was tore open and set on fire. when I say I devoured this book in less then 24 hours I mean just that. I was sucked into this world that I am still recovering from.

Winter Travers you just keep getting better and better, but maybe ease up on the heart ache. what am I saying your books wouldn't be what they are without the heart ache, drama, and twist you put us all through. do you boo boo do you!!

I can't get enough of this authors bikers. And this one I really loved. I wanted to know Raven's (Wrecker's sister) story since we first met her. But what we learn is so much more heartbreaking than what we thought.
And here I thought she was just a regular biatch, but underneath it all, she was so much more. A Talented designer who just wanted to know why her brother left her, why he picked his club over her. And contrary to what you would think it is so much more complicated than that.
And then there is Clash. Oh man when he first met Raven he couldn't believe he had to be the one to babysit her. But the more he got to know and the more time he spent he saw so much more. He saw the person she was hiding from everyone else. And he was the one who decided that he wont leave her, now all he had to do was prove to her that he was here to stay.

From the start of this book, it was filled with so much suspense, as you didn't know what was going on with Raven and why she didn't want to be part of this awesome, wacky quirky loving club. But in the end it made sense and it will capture you from the start to find out what is going on. Filled with suspense, love, heartbreak and so much more this book will have you rushing to see what Raven is hiding but also rushing to see how she and Clash get their HEA. I can't wait for Freak's book Winter <3 <3

The feel's.😍

Winter Travers is the bomb ! . God dam i love her writing. She brings you into the story line and makes you wonder what you would do in situations like her characters find themselves in. Her characters are broken, sassy, tough, strong independent and emotional. Regardless wether they are male or female. They are real and raw and lay their hearts on the line and protect like no other. Clash and Ravens story was all of the above. Feeling lost hurt and abandoned by her brother Wrecker Raven put up barriers around her heart that riveled that of fort knox . But Clash was patient and saw something in Raven that no one else could. because of her attitude and sarcastic demeanor no one wanted to touch Raven with a ten foot barge pole. Everyone except Alice. But Clash over time . Gave something to Raven that Noone else ever had. Respect, time , and let her make her own choices and listened to her even when she had nothing to say . When old hurts and bitter feelings towards her brother wrecker come to the surface both Clash and Wrecker are stunned to find out exactly why Raven was so bitter and hard. Can a life time of bitterness jelousy and heartbreak be over come with love and forgiveness? Or will it divide them irrevocably? Guess you will have to read Clash to find out.

This is the first book I have read in the series and it will not be the last. This book was off the hook and I loved it. I loved both main characters Raven and Clash.

Raven is the President of Fallen MC little sister and she means the world to him and he wants he protected at all times. So Wrecker chooses Clash to watch over her and Clash takes his assignment serious. Even when Raven give him shiz and does things she is not supposed to Clash is there for her.

Then Clash and Raven start to get to know each other and things begin to change. Clash has started to have feelings for Raven. But he wants to get to know her the true her and when she shows him why she hates Wrecker he understands why she acts the way she acts.

This is an amazing MC romance that should be read by all! So go on ahead and one click this bad boy and enjoy a great MC read!

This was a really enjoyable book, I loved every page.
Raven is Wrecker’s sister, the Fallen Lords MC’s President. He thinks the world of her and wants her safe at all times, so he sets his loyal brother Clash to watch over her, and make sure she is protected. Clash isn’t to happy at first on being giving babysitting duties especially when Raven gives him sass, plays the bitch and makes his life as hard as possible. But soon Clash comes to realize there’s a reason beneath Raven’s difficult ways and Clash decides he’s going to be there for her when she finally tells all.
This was a slow romance, and very enjoyable as we see the characters change and trust as their relationship deepens. Great fun with the secondary characters, a very entertaining read!
This one is definitely a keeper. I highly recommend this book!

I received an ARC in return for an honest review. While this book can be read as a stand-alone, if you haven’t read previous books in the series you will feel like you missed the beginning. I feel like it would have been better if the story began or at least had flashbacks to when she first came to the club in the first few chapters. I’ll liked the back and forth between Clash and Raven but I missed the build up between them so when they finally kissed it wasn’t as monumental for me. The story was good but I probably wouldn’t read it again.

Disclaimer: I did have all the books in the series but i did review it based on someone reading it as a stand-alone.

Oh this book is really good!! We get all the dirty details as why Wrecker's sister is such a bitch and why she hates him, everyone around him and the club period. I kinda had a feeling on some of it but not everything.

Wrecker has Clash keeping an eye on Raven to make sure she stayed out of trouble and didn't do anything stupid like burning the clubhouse down. Now they are treating each other like regular people who talk and get along....be careful when it comes to family.

No clue who just showed up at the end of the book but there's probably trouble on the way....

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I have been wanting to read Ravens story since we met her previously so I more then happy to get my hands on this gem. As one would expect she has had a rough past and she does not want to deal with it. Clash has other ideas as he noticed how unhappy she is while he is guarding her 24/7. Makes for some explosive encounters as he pushes her buttons so she opens up. Places him in the middle between her and Wrecker as well. Lots of emotion, testosterone, and twists. Great for fans of MC romance. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

So this series has been so up and down for me and I'm not sure what to think about it anymore. I had a hard time at the beginning of this series and getting into it. Than it started getting better and I started liking it better. I had heard this book was really good and couldn't wait to read it. But that's where my excitment for this book ends..... I'm not sure what's going on lately but this is the second book in the last two month's that I haven't been able to finish and usually I can push through a book and finish it. I tried really hard to finish this book but I got to about 65% and just couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't stand the character's anymore.

Usually I would start with the guy, but this time I'm going to start with Raven. I've kind of had my issues with Raven since she was introduced in this series. She always seemed to have an attitude and I didn't like how she acted around everyone in the club. I was hoping she would be better in this book and I could connect with her and get to know her in this book. And don't get me wrong I feel bad for what she went through as a teenager...... BUT WAHHHH, WAHHHHH, WAHHHHHH, GET THE FU(K OUTTA HERE WITH THAT $H*T..... Raven is the most self absorbed character I have ever read. Everything was about her and what she wanted, and how she was treated, and she didn't care about anyone but herself. Even when her brother Wrecker found out the truth she wouldn't talk it out like an adult, it was like she was still a child and stuck her fingers in her ears and didn't want to hear anything.

I have to say I was really enjoying Clash at the beginning of this book and throughout most of it. But than about half way through it he completely changed. And I just couldn't really stand him either.

I really wanted to enjoy this installment of the Fallen Lords series. But as I said above I couldn't even finish this book.

I'm giving this book 3 Stars out of 5, because I'm a fan of Mrs. Traver's and have enjoyed past books in this series!!!

***I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion***

AND right back to mediocre.

Raven is a raging bitch, but she's also immature. For someone so stuck on being independent she is a runner. Going gets hard she runs away.

Clash, love him. He is so patient and kind it is crazy. Love the way he handles Raven but won't take her attitude either.

Major time error (maybe not to some but to me) in Wrecker's book Raven was a brat child he could not wait to get away from. When their parents died she was 17 and he tried to get custody but was denied, maybe because he was an MC President at that time but that was never really explained. Now in this book Raven was 15 when she went to foster care; he didn't try to contact her and didn't try to gain custody because he had no job and no place for her. Now which is it?

As I have said before, this author is hit or miss for me...Clash and Raven were a miss.

Spoilers ahead,
I felt bad for Raven, she had a horrible past and I would be bitchy towards my brother as well. Granted it was a long time ago, but to not contact HER at all back then....
Raven was raped by her foster brother. It was not mentioned in detail, she did blurt out what he did, she did think back about what he did and was glad he was dead.
Clash was a good guy who figured out there was more to Raven. Did he really have to think that she was the best pu$$y he ever had?
It was a good story, I wasn't even mad when she ran for it, had some funny moments

4.5 Engaging Stars

I love this author and have read almost everything she has written. This series just keeps getting better and better. I love it. I have been waiting not so patiently for Raven's book since I first met her. So without further ado here we go. This is Clash and Raven’s book. It is also booked six in The Fallen Lords MC. It can be read alone but I wouldn't do that. You should read the whole series just to grasp the characters

Raven is one tough cookie. She is strong and fierce and doesn't take anything from anyone. She keeps to herself and won't let anyone, not even her brother Wrecker, the president of the MC.

Clash. Oh my gosh, this man. He was great. He is a hardened man just like the rest of them but when it comes to Raven he has her number. He gets her and he is everything she needs. So when he is assigned to babysit her he has no qualms about it.

Clash and Raven are great together. As I said he has her number. He can see something is bothering her. He won’t push. Slowly but surely he is breaking through that giant barricade around her heart. When he finally does find out what is wrong his heart breaks for her and so does mine. Then you have wrecker her brother that only thought of himself at the time when Raven needed him the most. I can see where both Raven and Wrecker are coming from. I understand to a point, but when family means everything to you. Well, let's see what you the reader thinks.

I loved this book and the growth in Raven she was making leaps and bounds until she broke down and told her story. Then when some surprising things happen in the MC she is feeling like an outsider again. The writer did an amazing job of storytelling and keeping the reader engaged. She keeps letting us read about previous characters as well and I love that. I get to see how they are all doing and progressing int heir lives. I read this on one go and loved every moment. With that said the blurb at the end, I can’t wait for the next book I the series.

I hope you will all join me. Happy reading.

Clash is book six in the Fallen Lords MC series and while each book can be read as a standalone, this book should be read after reading the series as events come full circle in this story. Raven (Wrecker’s sister) gets her story and we finally see some questions we had on her and why she acts the way she does. Bad attitude (and that is putting it mildly) and why she appears to be crazy when it comes to Wrecker and the MC. Boy does, she Clash with everyone, but there is one person who starts seeing her behind the hiding. Yep, that would be Clash!
Clash doesn’t have the easiest job when it comes to Raven. Along the way lines start to blur for the both Clash and Raven. Clash sees what she is hiding, and Raven sees that Clash is different and not just her sitter. All is well until it isn’t. Won’t go into detail cause that would be a spoiler, but just know that you will love this story. It truly was an emotional release for many. Gotta say that fate and coffee have a funny way of intervening in here and loved it!
You will fall in love with each set of characters in this MC series, but the Girl Gang just keeps getting more hilarious and bigger. You see the alpha men and truly how much this MC is family, but how they each have that soft spot for their girls. The funny thing is by now the men should know better. You cannot baby sit a girl without one of the men falling when least expecting it! Not only due I want to be apart of this Girl Gang, but they seriously need their own novella that includes stories on the kids, cows (lol), the meeting notes and the more on the men. This family has love, laughter and heartache and just goes to show you that there are real good MC men out there (not all are bad). I cannot wait for the next book cause I love it when each of these alpha men fall with one of these crazy funny girls.

Lawd, Raven has some serious demons, and no one truly knows what they are, as she's not revealing them. However, she is making everyone's life miserable trying to keep them away, because her walls are so high, and while her brother's MC is trying to protect her, she wants none of them. See, she sees them as a bunch of hypocrites, especially since her brother, Wrecker, never had her back when she needed him most. And now he has Clash on babysitting duty, which infuriates her more. Clash doesn't see it as much of a hardship keeping her safe from outside forces, it's the demons she battles which are the hard part. Oh, and the fact that he's attracted to her prickly self. And when her secrets finally come to light, he's determined to be the person she can finally count on. This story was so good, as I was waiting to see what was dogging Raven's steps, because her angry appearances had already been made in previous books, and I needed to know what happened to her. And WOW! I mean, I kind of had an inkling of what happened, but it was harder to hear it from her, and Wrecker's reaction to it. But I LOVED her & Clash's interactions so much, as she really put him through the paces. And of course the cast of secondaries, mainly the Girl Gang, had me rolling in laughter, which was a break from the heavy angst. I mean, let's face it, Alice will always be colorful, and can defuse any situation with just her clothing. And of course there were some f-bomb worthy twists that made for some excitement, but not in the way I thought, and of course, some set the stage for what's coming! I LOVE this series, and CANNOT WAIT for the next book so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

(4 stars)

For the last few books we have "seen" Raven and the mischief that she can get into. Because of said mischief she gets Clash as her babysitter. At first she avoids him at all costs, while Clash takes his duty seriously. The more the two spend time together, the closer they get (obviously), and Clash actually starts getting to really know just what makes Raven tick. But when Raven runs, will Clash be able to catch her? Or will he just have to wait and see if she comes back on her own?

This was a really great addition to the series, with loads of drama, low on the danger aspect, and add in some really hot naughty bits. Raven and Clash's story was very entertaining, I give it 4 stars.

(4.5 stars)

Wrecker's sister, Raven, is still staying at the club and Clash is assigned to watch her at all times, partly to keep her safe and partly because she is seen as so unpredictable she might burn the clubhouse down. Clash seems to be able to handle her though and gradually, as you may expect from being together pretty much 24/7, the pair start to feel more for each other than him being her warden and her his detainee. Clash also sees that there is more to why Raven is the way she is; it's not just a craziness or her being a bitch, there is something buried deep that hurts her and it seems to be aimed at her brother. Will Clash, and Wrecker for that matter, be able to deal with the aftermath when Raven finally reveals her secrets?

I really enjoyed this as I have every other book in this series so far. I'm looking forward to the next one, and I hope somewhere down the line Slayer gets a book as I'd love to see how he reacts to getting "tied down" lol. I give Clash 4.5 stars.

This book oh man how I loved Raven and Clash's story. This wasn't the typical MC romance that is full of action and adventure with dangers coming at them. This book was about heartbreak, feeling rejected, left behind and unimportant, learning to move on from your past, forgiveness, opening yourself up to others and so much more. Don't get me wrong we still get our sexy, alpha bikers but this was on the sweeter side of the MC romance genre and I absolutely loved it.

Winter has been one of my go to authors and I can never get enough of her books and this is just an example of why. My heart broke for Raven and the pain she feels. When she finally opened up about her animosity towards her brother and the MC I was left gasping and clutching my chest. I wanted to jump in and beat the ever loving crap out of Wrecker, I just was feeling so much and that is what Winter does. She delivered us a story that will have us feeling it all as if we were the characters ourselves and it was wonderful.

Not only was this book touching but Raven is sassy as hell and keeps these MC men of their toes and it just added to the entire story. I freaking loved Raven. Clash who drew the short straw and is responsible for watching out for her started out thinking she was the bitch everyone else thought but once he gets a glimpse and another side of her he does something nobody else does and takes the time to talk to her, to get her to open up, to love her like she should be. Clash may have won my favorite MC man in the Fallen Lords MC after this one.

Needless to say this is a book I would highly recommend. I just couldn't get enough of this beautifully written book.

4.5 Stars of Awesomesauce!

I am going to start off this review by saying that I was not expecting this book. I went in knowing the characters and knowing that I wasn’t sure what to think of Raven, but I knew that there was more to her story than her anger at her brother. There was a reason for it, and I was totally right and frankly, her anger was deserved. I definitely give the author credit for working out that issue in the way that she did, because I wasn’t sure how she was going to do that.

In saying that, I really liked this book. Again, I started off not sure about Raven’s character. I liked her, but sometimes, I really didn’t either. I thought she went into snits to easily and really needed to check her attitude. But, after knowing her backstory, I understand her character’s actions and that affected my opinion.

But what didn’t change was my opinion of Clash. Now that is a character that I absolutely adored and sympathized with. Clash really stepped up to the plate in this book and made it all about Raven. He dealt with everything in a great way and really showed the others that he meant business.

What I think I really liked with this book was that there was no dangerous drama to be had. Yes, there are issues that are discussed that will impact future books, but not really present in this book. And OMG was Alice’s character in full humor mode in this book. So overall impressions of the book were favorable. I liked the writing and storyline and really liked the moments of levity that were peppered through the book. Great addition to an awesome series. So, two thumbs up and happy reading!

What an amazing story! If you have been keeping up with this series, you will remember Raven...Wrecker's troubled sister who is now living at the clubhouse. Now you will get to find out why she is that way and why she hates her brother and his MC so much. But you will also watch as she and Clash go from sitter/sittee to one dynamic couple.

Raven is sassy, bitchy and downright venom filled with anyone who is inside of the MC, well except the old ladies. But her past is what has defined her and for good reason. Wrecker has no idea what has happened to her, but when Clash is in her room, Wrecker's protective instincts kick in...only it is him who ends up getting kicked in the gut when Raven can no longer hold on to her tongue and releases her past to him in rapid fire sentences; leaving Wrecker speechless. Clash takes the lead and works, not only on trying to help Raven heal from her past but to help the two siblings understand each other's side of things and hopefully get them on the road to recovering their relationship. It is a rough road, and with Raven's tendency to run, Clash has his work cut out for him, especially since their feelings for each other are growing by leaps and bounds.

A remarkable story that is well written and heart wrenching as well as humorous. The characters are very well written and well defined. The supporting characters in this story, especially the old ladies, will have you doubling over with laughter. That girls club is something else!

Absolutely amazing story and I highly recommend this book/series!

Another great addition to the Fallen Lords series. If you are like me, and have read this series from the start, this particular book brings Raven and her brother, Wrecker (the Prez), full circle. As such, even though this book can easily be read as a standalone, it would be a much better reading experience if you’ve read the prior books in the series (In My Humble Opinion). The author has given us a great storyline involving Raven and Clash and lets us catch up with the status of the club, the bikers and of course their ol’ ladies. However, this addition may have triggers for some so be forewarned.

Raven has been a bitchy, troubled soul ever since she arrived at the clubhouse. She doesn’t get along with anyone and just seems to cause trouble at every turn. Clash has been assigned the task of keeping an eye on her, or as she so fondly put’s it, he’s become her warden. But the more he watches her the more he senses there is more to her than meets the eye. However the more he tries to befriend her and be there for her, the more she pushes him away, just like she has everyone else in the clubhouse. Then one fated night, the truth comes bubbling out in front of Clash and her brother Wrecker. Will her finally opening up bring peace or cause even more friction in the clubhouse?

This is a very well written storyline. At various times, my heart ached for all three: Raven, Clash and Wrecker and had me hoping for any kind of happy ending. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars for Clash and the entire Fallen Lords series, I Highly recommend grabbing them all up and enjoying the ride.

Clash is another fantastic addition to the Fallen Lords MC series! I fell in love with these bikers all the way back in book one and Ms. Travers has kept the hotties with huge heart coming.

Raven is a pint-sized pain the everyone's asses. As Wrecker's sister, she's basically trapped in the club until they can ensure she's safe but the club is the last place she wants to be! To say Raven has issues with her brother is a massive understatement but her issues with the "brotherhood" might even be bigger. No one knows why she hates the club so much and truthfully, no one really seemed to care, except her assigned watchdog, or the "warden" as Raven likes to call him.

Clash was royally put out when he was assigned guard duty over the surly, loud-mouthed, wild card sister to Wrecker but he's the Pres so his word is law. She's unpredictable, insolent and a gigantic pain in his ass until he starts to actual see her, listen to her and understand her. He begins to realize that her porcupine exterior is a defense mechanism and more than anything, he wants to make her smile. Teaching her to trust might be his hardest job yet.

Fantastic book. I loved Clash and he's the perfect complement to Raven's sarcasm and prickliness. The rest of the club are there in fine form and the whole story is full of heat, humor and tons of heart. I loved every minute!

This is one of my favorite series, but this is my least favorite book in said series.

Besides the fact that Raven is a raging bitch, what really bugs me about it are two author faux pas.

1. They took a previous character with an HEA and made them an asshole. I love Wrecker. He's the club prez and a decent guy. Him and Alice are two of my favorites, yet in this book, he's a POS older brother. He's a guy that after his parents died, allowed his younger sister (15) to go into foster care instead of doing everything he could to keep her with him. Let alone the fact that he didn't keep in touch with her. Supposedly, he called the social worker and foster mom to check in with them but never actually spoke to her? The poor girls parents died, and her older brother just disappeared? Wtf?

2. The author changed facts already known in previous books. In Wrecker's book, it's mentioned that Raven was 17 when their parents passed, not 15, and that she was in foster care for a year. The fact was changed to make this book's story more plausible. No, no, no.

Beyond that, I liked Clash alot. He was understanding and protective of Raven, even standing up to the club prez for her. Raven just kept screwing up and taking off instead of facing her issues and actually communicating with Clash. It was irritating. But of course in the end she came around.

The girl gang was as funny as ever and the other guys were there normal selves.

Clash was less than thrilled to get stuck babysitting his President's sister. Her witchy attitude and ability to drive him crazy made his job that much harder. Somewhere along the way, though, he starts to notice that she keeps people at arms length and spends too much time avoiding everyone. Raven hates being kept in the clubhouse. Her anger at her brother bleeds into a hatred for the MC and don't even get her started on her babysitter. Before she knows it though, she is wanting to spend time with Clash. When things come to light about Raven's past, will Clash back her or will he side with his president?

Winter Travers has become one of my favorite MC writers. She give you all the alpha men you could want in an MC story and adds in a bone deep devotion to their women. The MC truly is a family and they really will have each other's backs. Each couple in this series is definitely unique, Alice especially and you can't help but love them all. Raven has had a tough go of it in the past and her attitude is totally understandable. Her anger and desperate need to get away from the MC fuels her. Clash is the definition of easy going. He starts to see who Raven really is and takes the time to get to know her. I consumed this story in 24 hours, staying up way too late and I regret nothing! 5 stars for Clash!
