Noah Chase loves being the lead guitarist in a viral-band but when Call Out’s lead singer is found dead in his dressing room, all evidence points to a deranged fan, and now Noah and the other band members fear for their lives.
Marcus Richards is a respected cop, much loved friend to the Chase family, and Lowri’s ex-husband. When he is called in to protect Noah and the guys from Call Out, Noah and him are thrown together on his Texan ranch. Twelve years her senior, Marcus has always kept his relationship with Noah platonic, but now that she is in his care, Marcus finds he has developed feelings that what be prudent to keep to himself.
At the end of a lengthy and demanding project my spirits were in urgent need of uplift. I needed something hot, steamy and with a gripping to story to lift me out of my black hole of depression. And ‘Catching Noah’ worked a treat. It is the fifth book in a series, but works well as a stand-alone read. I was attracted by its major theme – a relationship between an older man and a younger woman. The characters are vividly portrayed and come alive in the story, sharing their doubts, anxieties and innermost thoughts with the reader. Oh yes, there are bucketfuls of lust between the pages. IT wouldn’t be Angela Stevens without, but there is also love, tenderness and maturity that lifts the relationship to a higher plane. The affair between Marcus and Noah develops among a major threat to Noah’s band. Could it be a psychopathic musician, jealous of their success, a deranged fan or who could it be who wishes them harm to the extent of attacking- even murdering the players? A full box of emotions range through this novel that comes to its climax on Marcus’s ranch in Texas – nuzzled by Loco, the little Falabella horse that stands just twenty-six inches high. I really enjoyed this book that I finished feeling happy for the characters- and without a trace of the black-dog depression afflicting me before I opened the first page.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Marcus and Noah. She's a young girl living the dream, she's the lead guitarist in a band. Four and a half stars. This is the fifth book in the series, but it is not necessary to have read the others. In this story we meet Noah, the only girl in a family with five brothers. She is a member of a successful rock band covering for the drug addicted lead singer until he is found dead. Suicide or murder? Noah calls the only one she can think of calling, Marcus and it takes off from there. There is lots of action as they try to find someplace the paparazzi can’t find her. I had the answer to the mystery way before the end but the journey was a good one.

Noah had been happy to be a guitarist for a rock group, but when her fellow group members all start to be more interested in their pleasure than in their music and performance she becomes unhappy. The final straw is one of the members being found dead, seemingly an overdose. Luckily her best friend Marcus was nearby and takes her to a safe haven. Their story is hinted at before, in other books of this series. Like the others well-written, with people struggling with past events and trying to get a grip on the present. A truely enjoyable read, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Noah is in a band called Call Out and when the lead singer is found murdered in the dressing room the rest of the band including Noah are fearing for their lives. I didn’t know that this is book 5 to the series so I hadn’t read the others but that doesn’t matter too much I still enjoyed this story. This is an action packed, suspenseful story with twists and turns, romance and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
5th book in the series and it is a welcomed addition. It is a well written, consistent, fast pace, emotionally deep suspense romance. The storyline is very interesting with scenes that are very intense and is action packed with twists and turns. Likeable characters with amazing chemistry between them. A really great story! Felt like a novella but it was a full story. This is from an new author to me so I never read anything by Angela so when I noticed this is a part of a series then I knew I was missing things. Cuz the ex wife of Marcus was in a few times and never caused any problems sinc she was happy with a different guy, that throw me, u til I learned it was book 5. Overall a good book but if I read Noah’s brother’s book I might have understood the whole dynamic.
She is part of a band and she loves it but when the lead singer is found dead in their room it brings terror. He is a cop and he knows her and he is having them at a ranch to keep them safe. She is younger than him but that does not stop him having feelings for her. What is going to happen? Will they catch the killer? See what will happen

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

This one just wasn't for me, sorry. It felt too slow. I will return to it one day, but right now I just wasn't feeling it. I like rock an roll set stories so maybe I expected too much. I hope someday my review will be different.

I couldn’t wait to dive into Noah’s book. I loved Marcus and Noah in the previous books and I love them even more now. Despite their age gap they worked really well together. Marcus was such a sweetheart and Noah was freaking awesome. The story was awesome.
