Bound Angel is the fourth book in the Her Angel series by Felicity Heaton. It can be read as a standalone but I think you will enjoy catching up with previous characters if you have read the other books first.
Rook is a fallen angel working his way to being the Devil's second in command. He loves Hell and the job he does there, it's where he belongs. Or so he thinks.
Isadora is a witch who is the only one who knows the spell for immortality. She has been captured by a group of other witches who are torturing her in order for her to tell them the spell. She knows that the only person, an angel actually, that could have rescued her is dead and she has given up any hope of getting away.
Her guardian angel isn't dead, but he isn't a good angel any more, he is Rook, and he has no memory of her or the connection they had in the past. Despite that, another angel enters hell in order to persuade Rook to rescue Isadora. An impossible task as he believes he doesn't know her and doesn't want to do anything that takes him from hell.
Is he persuaded and if he is will the Devil even let him go?
I have enjoyed this whole series with each book earning an easy 5-star rating. But Felicity Heaton must have kept the best 'til last because this book was absolutely fantastic. From the very first scenes, I was hooked! There was so much drama, blood and gore, not to mention the battle between the evil witches and the angels trying to rescue Isadora. Oh OK, I give up, I will tell you that Rook does agree to help rescue her. But things happen that are so unexpected for him and Isadora, it was just amazing to read. Amongst all the drama there are a couple of extra sizzling hot sex scenes that will have you reaching for a fan or your partner!!! It's definitely not for the under 18s!
I cannot fault this book and I wholeheartedly recommend it!!
Tragic Past Unbelievable Love...Isadora and Rook’s Story....
This is the much anticipated new book in a revamped series Bound Warriors.
Rook, a fallen angel, working up the ranks in the Devil’s Legion. All he desires is to rise to the top of the command. Until, one persistent pesky angel named Apollyon tells him that he use to desire something more and that he use to be something more. Rook denied this statement as lies and are just a way of trying to cause him to leave his Master. But, the angel keeps stating that a very special witch needs Rook to remember her and that she was someone very special to him in the past and thus a seed of doubt begins....
Isadora, a witch with a powerful secret, one that she has been protecting at all costs. Just existing because of a very tragic event of her past. She is now a prisoner of fellow witches who seek to steal her secret and use and sell for their gain. She refuses to succumb to their demands no matter what means of extraction they try, until one day when a very special angel from her past, one thought to be dead, shows up outside her window but is very different then the one she remembers. Fearing the ability to remain silent and the possibility that she may finally break. She does the only thing she thinks that she can...to cast a spell to forget...one spell comes with a very severe unintentional backlash...
Can Rook find out the truth of of his past? Can Isadora remember what she was trying to forget? Can their love survive the present? Or will their lives be taken before they can even sort things out?...
You have to pick this one up to find out....
This is probably one of the more intense ones of the series. But for all paranormal romances this one has the heat to satisfy your cravings. The plot is beginning to fully unfold not everything is as it seems and there are thing going on that have yet to be discovered. You could read this alone but highly recommend the others in the series to get the full effect but definitely would consider picking this series up.
What do you do when you are the fiercest angel in the legion of Hell . Rook only wants to lay claim to the first battalion and getting one step closer to the Devil . When a dark winged angel won't leave him alone whispering to him about a witch that needs his help . Isadora is that witch and she has been alone for over a millennium because the angel she loves can't remember her, Will they over come the obstacles ahead of them and realize that they belong together . This is the story I have been waiting for Rook has been a character that has popped up in other books and he has always captured my attention . He is dark and brooding and actually kind a blood thirsty in a way. All he wants to do is fight and get to the first battalion . He is also oh so sexy , you kind a want to climb him like a spider monkey and have your way with him . Isadora is a complicated character at the beginning of the book she is so defeated and tired of everything that is going on around her, the people that kidnapped her are putting her through so much . When Rook and her finally reunite you see her blossom and become the witch that she was destined to be all the years . Apollyn and his wife are back and helping out the couple against the evil coven of witches that want Isadora's power. This book is a brand new book in the series and I was so excited to see it come live . I really love the characters in these books . The author writes her characters with such an intensity and they are so complex . You can't help but love them . The story always have such an intensity that you get sucked in after the first page . I will admit this one is a little darker and more intense then the other books . I loved how the plot unfolded in front of our eyes . You are swept away and there is enough heat to make you blush but there is also all the feels that you have . You will laugh, cry and fan yourself while reading this book . For those who love hot sexy fallen angels these are the books for you .
There is nothing about this book that I didn't absolutely love. Thanks for the ARC. I will post a full review for the pre-ordered Kindle when it's delivered after publication 2nd February 2019.

A Thrilling Conclusion To The Her Angel: Bound Warriors Series.
I am already a big fan of Ms Heaton's writing style; it's the way she creates a believable paranormal world and then packs it full of multifaceted characters - even the supernatural ones have very real human foibles - then weaves their stories around an engaging background plot that just draws me in and keeps me hooked.
Bound Angel had everything that I look for in a great paranormal romance; it made me smile, cry and feel all warm and fuzzy inside, my heart was pumping during the fight scenes, there were great well written erotic thrills and tons of romantic gestures that satisfied my soppy side.
As with all of Ms Heaton's books, due to the graphic violence and sexual content I would only recommend this book to adults who are not offended by content of this nature and enjoy reading stories about conspiracies, the drive to hunt out the truth and protection of those we love but Bound Angel is definitely a must read for those of you, like me, who adore tales about soul saving love with oodles of fire and passion.

Can true love survive with a thousand years separation?
This is the final book in this series. Rook is a fallen angel who is second in command of the devil's army. All he wants is to please the devil. When Appolyon enters hell and tells him a woman he once knew named Isadora needs his help, he doesn't care. He has no memories of her. Isadora is a witch who has been captured by a group of witches. They want her to tell them the spell to become immortal. She won't ever tell them because then immortals could be forced into a pairing to make the witch with the spell immortal too. Both Isadora and Rook were separated a thousand years ago and thought the other died at that time. The devil knew different and had Rook's memory taken. Now that they have come together, can they trust each other and defeat their enemies? What part will not remembering play in the scheme of things? I liked this book, there is plenty of action that kept me reading. The only thing is that it was never revealed what or who the talisman was for, and I wondered about it for most of the book.
A witch and an angel, two powerful beings so in love that they would die for one another. The unthinkable happens and they are torn apart never to remember what they were, but love will not be denied nor forgotten. Both Rook and Isadora will find themselves face to face again and needing to find out who and what they truly are to one another.
Isadora and Rook’s story is a beautiful read. Rook quickly endeared himself to this reader and Isadora soon followed. It was nice to see the love and devotion that these two have for each other. They work well together and even though they have no memories of each other they still fight by the others side as they try to unravel the truth. I enjoyed watching their relationship take shape and deepen as their feelings grow stronger. Their story is full of emotions and will pull on your heartstrings. The author weaves a wonderful romance with strong characters and has kept this series fresh and engaging from start to finish.
The past is not your past so much when you don't remember it right? Say hello to Rook one Felicity's Fallen in her newest release Bound Angel, such an amazing series.
Rook has his eye on the only prize that matters to him or so he thinks, making it up the ladder to the prized position with the Devil himself. All is fine and good just until another Fallen tries to clue him in on a woman that supposedly needs him a witch no less.
Isadore (love the name) a beauty to behold a witch that has gotten herself taken by some not so friendlies. They wanna know things. hmmm mmmm. Is their any reminiscence of her past accept remembrance of the dead?
Such an intriguing story that's been revisited and added to. The story and characters clicked and just enough detail a warm scene or two, some old sparks that gained ground quickly and just as passionate. The fight is on, it's tricky and dangerous. Enjoy
Rook is one of Hell's angels. He is trying to earn his way up to a better spot in the Devil's army. He has done a lot of evil things to get where he is. At the moment there is a Angel from outside the realm that is obviously trying to be the next to die. That will help his promotion hopes. Isadora is normally a very powerful witch, but she has been captured by other witches who are trying to force her to reveal a very special spell. That spell is far to dangerous to allow anyone to know it. The past has been well hidden from our hero. He has many vicious and magical battles to fight . Will our heroine ever regain enough of her magic to escape?? An action packed story that links with others from the series but is easily read on it's own. The fight scenes are so vivid that it's easy to picture them. Really exciting reading.
Rook and Isadora forever bound, danger at every turn. The story was fantastic, couldn’t put it down, it kept me enthralled. Their story begins in Hell, all Rook wanted was to be the Commander of the Devil’s army and he reckoned by killing an Angel he would get his way. He hadn’t counted on the Angel tricking him from Hell, forcing him to remember her, Isadora, a witch. She was in danger, kidnapped, tied up, her magic forced away from her. Drained, she knew what they wanted, they wouldn’t get it. The story kept me reading, it was very good, the sparks that flew between them, literally. I recommend it very highly. The book is part of a series, I recommend you read them in order. A***********
Bound Angel (Her Angel: Bound Warriors, #4) by Felicity Heaton is a paranormal romance that can be read as a stand alone. This revised and extended version of the previous book is fantastic and checks off all the boxes: Rogue angel, strong heroine, climactic battle scene and a HEA. Rook and Isadora's story is my favorite of the four books in this series. Their love is transcendent. I can't say enough about how visual this author is in creating backdrops for her stories. The reader feels transported along with the characters. I recommend this read as well as any of the Eternal Mates Series by this author.
Rook is a fallen angel that has had his memories taken by the devil himself..he thought his witch love Isadora was dead and lost everything. Isadora thought he was dead also but she is taken by bad witches who want to know what and how she's immortal. They take her prisoner. Rooks friends find him and tell him he's got to save her...he doesn't remember her and thinks it's a trap but something makes him go anyway. Ms. Heaton has 3 other angel books before this one. You don't have to read them in order but it helps know the characters and back story.
Doesn't surprise me that Felicity has written another outstanding book, or rewritten! Either way, she's a genius and her book's prove her worth! Rook is a demonic angel with a past life he can't seem to remember. Isadora is a immortal witch in hot water because a lot of dark witches want the spell she used. The characters are powerful, gritty and outstanding and the storyline is otherworldly, strong and dangerously addictive
This story is just wonderful, it is thrilling and very entertaining throughout the entire story. Once I started I just had to finish it, I couldn’t put it down. Isadora is wonderful, and Rook is just heartbreakingly awesome. I was so wrapped up in the story, with the storyline and the characters, it is an excellent read.
I have so enjoyed this series, the rewrites have, in my opinion, been a huge success. This final book is Rook and Isadora's story and their shared history. A love story that defies time and the devil himself. A mixture of mystery and intrigue involving the main characters, a great read. A fitting end to the series. I loved it!
So in love with this series!! Lived for it when it was first released and love it even more now with additional content added. The the strength and depth of the characters, along with the steamy and enticing storylines make this series a forever must read.
This book and series gets better with every read. The passion, the emotion, the conflict, the characters and the entire world that the author has built from her imagination is amazing. A must read and highly recommended to anyone, even if PNR is not your thing. It will be once you’ve finished.
What happens when an angel and a witch get together, then are led to believe the other has died, then find each other many years later? This book will take you on a heart stopping journey of danger, magic and determination. Wow!
The story was great from cover to cover. Even though this is the 4th book in the bound series, it the 9th in the overall angel series. I love how the characters follow from one book to the other.
0.5 Star 2024 ⬇️0️⃣ 🎧✅ Dropped 2020 Ok so the H didn’t remember the h so he left her in a cell then he was pissed because she forgot him, wtf? At least he was celibate still not a fav trope.
Bound Angel is the fourth and final book in the new Her Angel: Bound Warriors paranormal romance series. It is an entirely new book and worthy finale to the Bound Warriors arc.
The previous books in the series have touched on Rook (H), so we already know he is a fallen angel that his friends all thought dead. The mystery is WHY he is fallen, and that is the focus of the book. Why does he not remember how he came into the Devil's service? Why does he have tattoos on his wrists he is compelled to hide? Who is this witch the intruding dark angel keeps telling him needs his help?
Isadora (h) is a witch who has suffered a millennia alone, trying to die to ease her heartache, yet not able. She is eventually betrayed and captured by witches trying to steal the spell that makes her immortal, a spell she would rather die than reveal. Attempting to keep the spell safe, she ends up inadvertently losing some of her memory. When Rook shows up to rescue her, she doesn't know who he is. Neither remembers the other, yet both know they should. Isadora is trying to deal with the backlash of a memory spell and the effects of torture, while Rook is trying to deal with emotions he doesn't remember ever having, including Isadora's emotions. In the middle of all this, they are trying to stay alive with witches after them.
I liked the book and felt it was a great ending to this story arc. The earlier books in the series were rewritten, and though I haven't read the old versions, I feel that the additions were probably related to Rook and Isadora's story. You want so badly for them to remember each other and what they had. The ending, though satisfactory, left open room for them to be pulled into future stories, especially since Isadora continues to take chances. I really enjoyed the story and highly recommend it, though be warned - there are some very sexy scenes.
Okay. It's been a while since I dipped my toes in this world of angels and demons and love that last lifetimes. I must say, I still like these possessive angels and their special lady friends. There's something about snarly, brooding men (fallen or otherwise) that make me smile.
So. Rook and Isadora. Due to the devil being a total jerkface, they've spent the last several lifetimes believing the other is dead. Or just flat out not having memories of Isadora, in Rook's case. They've both suffered because of this. Rook because he feels like something is missing and Isadora because she believes the angel she loved with all her heart is lost to her.
Imagine their surprise when Rook shows up to rescue her (through some subterfuge and misdirection on Apollyon's part) and they start to feel things. You know, FEEEEEEL things.
Throw in a dangerous, murderous sect of witches who do VERY bad things to other witches and a misfired spell that steals even more memories than what they've already lost and you have yourself a pretty epic love story.
I'm still liking these couples and their rocky path to love. SO MUCH BROODING. Excellent.
I’m so happy to finally get the story of Rook and Isadora. After the previous books which have been revised versions of older books from author Felicity Heaton, we have seen glimpses of the name Rook throughout. This is an entirely new story to the series and one I have been looking forward to since it was first proposed.
Rook from what we can gather from the previous books was a friend and brother at arms to Apollyon, Lukas and Einar who was thought to be dead. Now second in command to a legion of fallen angels in Hell, he only cares about one thing and that is seizing control of the First Battalion, and nothing will stand in his way…that is until now.
I got chills reading this book each time that Rook almost started to remember, only to be overpowered by Hell. I was pretty much on the edge of my seat each time, wanting the past he had forgotten to be remembered. Then with an epic twist that happened with Isadora, it looked like all hope might be lost. But we all know our “heroes”, they’ll do what they can to overcome.
I love this new addition to the Her Angel: Bound Warriors series. I originally fell in love with this series several years ago when it was just called the Her Angel series. Now all of the books have been edited and expanded, taken in a new direction to better suit their story arks. All except this one, Rook and Isadora's story. This book is an all new addition to the first part of the newly written story ark. Rook and Isadora's story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. The things they have both had to endure are tremendous. I love this addition to an already beloved story line and the new direction that the author took it in is phenomenal. I can't wait to see what she does with the next set of books, the Her Angel: Eternal Warriors series. I'm so excited! Well done to the author.
This is the final book in the Her Angel: Bound Warriors series. It is Rook's book. This does work as a strandalone but you'll get more from it if you read the other books in the series. Rook has been mentioned in each of the other books and I was glad to finally have the mystery of why he was where he was solved. He's on a mission and is interrupted by a witch needing him. Isadora is that witch and the two of them have a past and a future.
I've liked all the books in the series and I think this was the best one (maybe because I was waiting to find out about Rook). All the stories have led up to this finale and I feel that the ending was good. Satisfying and understandable. Like all Felicity Heaton books, the flow is excellent, the characters are well developed and understandable. Highly recommend the entire series.
I fell in love with Her Angel series with it was first released. Bound Angel is a revised verison of the first book with somethings added that make the story wonderful. Rook and Isadora have a one in a lifetime kind of love and even when things get sticky, crazy and they still love each other. This story is about second chances and not letting go of what really matters. If you haven't read any of the Angel stories...I suggest you one click Bound Angel to travel to a beautiful world Heaton has created. Happy Reading!!!
