Now that the five queens are together they are working on bringing Alataris down. Therefore we are in for a rolleroaster again. A race against time and Alataris. It fits that they will do something noone has tried before. Also, one secret is revealed but I wished for more conclusion at this point. Still, I love the idea of this magic world. The unique blend of witches, gods, fae, shifters and so on is awesome and I really like the witty dialogues. They are spontan and funny. But sometimes they feel forced and then the whole story comes to a standstill. That is a pitty because overall it seems to be the right rhetorical device for Mrs Montero. It comes natural to her.
Also, she really needs more Editors. There are many small mistakes which interrupt the story flow further totally unnecessary. Please, Mrs Montero take more time with your stories. They are brilliant but need more work mainly from a critique crew and editor.
I will read the last book in this story arc because it is just too interesting for me to stop now.

P.S.: It deserves at least for stars but I could not ignore the typo mistakes this time, sorry.

In the war for my power only one will win…

My secrets are starting to surface and in the world of Evermore secrets can get you killed. The sister I never asked for has joined our side. I’ve hidden the blood tie we share from everyone, including my soulmate Tucker.

I’m hiding too many things from everyone and I’m starting to unravel.

We don’t stand a chance against Alataris, not the way we are right now. His power grows every day. There’s only one way to beat him – steal his crown. It’s the deadliest mission we’ve taken yet, and it could get us all killed. But without it we’ve already lost…

Is it me, or do each book in the series hooks you more? I loved the last one, but this one was even more action-packed, filled with twists that even I did not see coming. Like that ending, that was unexpected for anyone. I love books about witches, it is one of my favorites, The Royals: Witch Court series is unlike any series I have read before, and I have read few series about witches. It is one of the reasons I love it this much, it is unique, and I love the story behind it. I love reading about Zinnia’s journey, and I found myself wondering if she would be able to defeat Alataris. The moment that I finished WICKED POTION , I picked the next book in the series, anxious to see what happens and how it will all end. There was not a single moment in the book where there was not anything going on. Every page, every chapter had some sort of action going on, making it hard to put the book down because it would end with a cliffhanger. I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning of the book until the end. Once you reach the end, you will be picking up WICKED QUEEN right away.

I love reading books from multiple points of view. I love Zinnia, she is my favorite, and however, I loved for a chance to get to know other characters a bit more. I love Ophelia and I do wish that others would not give her such a hard time, so she messed up, but who has not? I love the bond that she and Zinnia has and the way that they both try to protect one another. I am glad that Zinnia finally stood up for her sister because I got a feeling that Ophelia would not do that. I understand why she did not tell everyone earlier; she was worried about them finding out that she was Alataris daughter, and I don’t blame her. I cannot imagine having a father that powerful, a father that you have to defeat. I know that it must be done, but I cannot imagine that it is an easy decision. I do wonder if Zinnia will go through it, considering her mixed emotions through the end. I am eager to find out what will happen next.

Tucker and Zinnia, I was happy to see their relationship finally progressing. I wonder how long that was going to take. I do wish that they did not have to hide their relationship, although I feel that almost everyone aware of how they feel about each other. The two of them had a special bond right from the start, I was rooting for them right from the first book. I am hoping that the two of them will come out of this alive, will defeat Alataris, and can finally be together without hiding. I can tell how much the two of them are happy when they were with each other. Tucker and Zinnia belong together and I hope that they get their happily after. If you enjoy young adult fantasy, witches and some romance, be sure to check this series out. A must-read.

Be prepared for a magical ride!

Loved the adventures in this one.

Of course, Zinnia comes back to life. She & Tuck get closer. They get to meet Hephaestus, & the Angel of Death. Poseidon makes another appearance too, with an odd request, after assisting them. Cross makes a bold move in front of everyone, trying to win over Ophelia. I can't decide if he is going t o be good for her or not. If he has just been dating all these other girls because Ophelia won't go out with him, then it could be just what she needs. However, if he does her wrong it could be just enough to send her over the edge & back to the dark side. So happy that Nova & Ophelia reconcile their differences. Also it's about time that Zinnia revealed Ophelia is her sister! And I love that the little boy asked Ophelia to tutor him in potions! It hopefully will go a long way into helping others to accept her & know that people can change their opinions of you. Actions speak louder than words! This was one of my favorites in the series. SPOILER ALERT: May have something to do with Zinnia & Tucker finally hooking up!

Right from the start it's like this book was just a page turn away from the last book. It didn't miss a beat. I cried when I started reading and my heart went out to Ophelia. This book is exciting, scary, funny and unpredictable. I am so glad that some of the secrets are out and most of the animosity between the queens is finally becoming workable. One of my very favorite parts is when the girls are following Mateus around and he caught them. That conversation made me laugh out loud for another whole chapter. His grumbling was the kicker. This book was so good, in my opinion, that I was reading it on two devices at once. I run the battery out on one and pick up the charged device while the first recharged so I didn't have to wait. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

There are no bad ideas. Right?

So the queens have a plan to defeat Alataris. Not saying it's a good one, but it's the only one they've got. Well, it's actually makes a lot of sense, it's just going to be rather dangerous to pull off. Or in other words, a regular old Tuesday. It requires pulling in all kinds of favours, and there's not guarantee it will work. The queens are challenged every step of the way by gods supposedly helping, but mostly just making things more difficult. And then Hades has to go and tip the scales a little further, just for a laugh. Or perhaps it was payback for having his shower interrupted...again. As we reach the end of this book, we find Zin and Tuck about to embark on a journey to acquire a weapon that will allow them to level the playing field...if they survive it, that is.

Oook so i have to say I am loving the plot, the story and it definitely keeps you hooked.

I've till date never read a book about witch casts and a queen for each cast and shifters who ain't wolves; warlocks being the darker side of magic but witches being the better side; the Fallen and the Greek "gods" essentially being powerful assholes and literally everything else. I love this universe Ms.Megan has created...𝙗𝙪𝙩 the writing... Ughh

If it were edited properly and maybe written with a better flow I would most definitely have enjoyed it even more...

P. S. It went from vanilla to just a sugary scent lmao

Another Winner

Wow oh wow! Megan Montero has done it again. Each book just keeps getting better and better and more intense. Zinnia, Tucker and the rest of the Queens and Knights are still up to their eyebrows in danger as they try to finish off the evil that is Alataris. In this one we get to see a little bit more from our favorite fallen Angel ❤ and I for one want more about him.
This book just draws you in and doesn't not let you go. It starts right up where the last one left off and sucks you in right up to the end. I want the next one now

This is the fourth book in The Royals: Witch Court series and they just keep getting better! The book grabs your attention right from the beginning full of action, suspense, love and sacrifice. With unexpected twists and turns along the way the Queens & Knights are in a race to save Evermore from Alataris. Zinnia and Tucker relationship grows stronger and some secrets are revealed. I cannot say enough about this writer and I highly recommend her books. I loved everything about this book and can’t wait for the next book Wicked Queen!!!

Wicked Potion (The Royals: Witch Court Book 4)

Can this series get any better.... I couldn’t put the book down, even though it is so late at night, I keep saying only one more page then I will go to bed... 😂 lol 😂 one page turned into a book.....

I love the story line and am excited to see where this takes them..
The Greek Gods are horrible to them...it’s no wonder no one wants to stay long around them for to long.

I hope they finally take Alataris go down a lot of pegs...

I definitely recommend this book.... onto the last book of the series..

I was anxiously waiting for this 4th installment and I can say one thing: it was mindblowing!!! Fast-paced, action-packed, full of magic, suspense, intrigue, secrets and of course the ongoing romance between Tucker and Zinnia, the book picks up where the previous left us and leads us on a merry roller-coaster of non-stop action. There's plenty going on, even in the background of the story, especially with the secondary characters. I can't wait to read the next book!!!!!!!

So much excitement. Such an awesome book...

I had so much fun reading this book. If you think you know what is going to happen, you will definitely be surprised. I get so into reading it that time just flies by. Zinnia is such a strong and powerful witch. With Tucker by her side anything and everything is possible. On to the last book in this season. So exciting. On to number five.

Best book of series

This was most enjoyable book of the series. I love the development between tucker and zin. Finally they are moving forward. This book, though as short as the others, made strides of development, plan in place on how to defeat the king. Looking forward to the next book.

Ophelia has joined the gang at Evermore and everyone is ready to take on Alataris. Zin and Tucker now know they are soulmates and their bond is stronger than ever. Defeating Alataris is becoming more difficult, but the gang has a plan - steal his crown. In order to do that, they are going to have to steal several items from the Greeks and retrieving these items could get them killed.

Good read

I’ve been hooked on this series since book #1 and I’ve devoured them fairly quickly. Book #4 does a good job of further character development and laying the groundwork for the series ending.
