That should be my motto. I'm a busy air marshal with no time for relationships. Plus, I don't do commitments, just hook ups. Until one day I'm on a flight that runs into trouble. The flight attendant is so damn hot when we work together to rescue passengers. If we make it out alive, I think we should get together.
But it's nothing too serious... right? So why can't I stop thinking about him? Apparently love is in the air.
It’s Book 3 in the Baytown Boys series. It can be read alone but, due to related characters and settings, is best read with others in the series… and a tall glass of water to cool you off after so much steam.
***** Kade, Sky Marshall is big, and muscled, with a crew cut, brown hair and blue eyes. Cute Miles, 28, one of the flight attendants, has soft wavy hair and a bright smile. On a flight from Dubai to New York, a malady came over 18 passengers and during that episode, Kade and Miles get to deal with irrate folks, and talk to each other, too. They made an emergency landing in London where our guys share a room.
The ordeal has them exhausted but they are still frisky. The men are so intune with each other, they find themselves globe trotting as friends and lovers. Each sexy time is better than the last. As time passes, the dinners, sightseeing and bonding continues. Before they can figure out where they stand, it's Valentine's Day weekend, and Mile's cousin's wedding in his hometown. Kade shows up and wants to talk.
This is a beautiful slow burn romance with a few bumps. We get a chapter one year later in time, and the epilogue is yet another year later. You'll be smiling. ENJOY !

I did not finish this book. I'm surprised at the amateur level of writing considering this had a solid five stars. There were several typos but what really threw me was their first sex scene. I don't know if English isn't this writer's first language or if they don't have a basic understanding of the physics of sex, but the prepositions were all wrong. Miles was not "going in and out of" Kade's dick because that's impossible. Kade was going in and out of Miles. This sort of backwards prepositions happened several times and I just couldn't deal with it.
The flu epidemic on the plane ... flu symptoms don't progress that fast. You had some thirty passengers come down with severe cases of the flu in the span of a couple hours. It doesn't work like that. Some respiratory diseases do. The flu doesn't. That was a bad choice for no real purpose other than to add unnecessary drama. The two main characters were already into each other. They both live in the same city. There was no need for an epidemic on the plane. And if you're going to make one, make it something dramatic, not the flu.
I honestly don't understand why this has five stars.
I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.
This is book 3 in the series, but it does work okay as a stand-alone. The MCs from books 1 and 2 play a part in this story, but the backstory is introduced in a way that gives you enough to know what is going on without being too much.
I thought the story had a decent flow. Though there were times when I wanted to shake my head at how one of the MCs had acted, it was still very much in character for them and so fit the story. Kade had some serious commitment issues (understandable once we got some more backstory). Miles I felt at times was rushing the relationship a bit (he seemed to want to leap past a few relationship steps at one point). They both needed to realize what they really wanted long-term to find their HEA, but the journey certainly had its sweet moments.
This is a wonderful addition to the series. Bringing a Federal Air Marshal together with a Flight Attendant together made for an entertaining buncch of crooks in the road to a relationship. Miles is quirky in many ways and I especially laughed at the drunk Miles. Kade has a few issues but his personality makes him a standout in any situation. I was happy how Kade has a brother to turn to. Kade and Miles together make for some really hot, sexy times. I liked how their personalities were brought out as a major part of the story. I enjoyed some of the previous characters being a big part of the ongoing series. These stories just make me happy. I also have to add that I really like the cover of this book. I can’t wait to see what is next.
This is a truly wonderful MM romance & a pleasure to read. The plot is well-written & entertaining with quirky characters that have individual personalities with realistic emotional flaws, there are some character crossovers from previous books in this series but this book is standalone & complete. There is: a distrustful federal air marshal (Kade), a sweet helpful flight attendant (Miles), suspense, intrigue, adventure, humor, sick passengers, friendship, verbal banter, attraction, fantasies, worry, aggression, concern, flirting, memories, fear, contagious illness, confusion, emergency diversion, CDC, verbal confrontation, threats, jealousy, tension, insecurities, paranoia, commitment issues, brotherly advice, hope, emotional turmoil, determination, outrageous behavior, family issues, amusement, apologies, happiness, contentment, love, steamy scenes & a excellent epilogue. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this MM romance & would recommend it to people who enjoy reading this genre.
Long trip Good romance. I was surprised by the meeting of the two heroes, because I did not expect at all a beginning of history of long-haul flight and a plot about a mysterious disease in this plane. I liked and I found interesting the questioning of the two heroes about what he wanted and the problems of non communication in this relationship. In the end, it's a good gay romance, original by its approach. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This was another great book in the Baytown Boys series, although it can be read as a standalone. Miles and Kade had an instant attraction to one another. The chemistry between them was sizzling. There was some angst in the relationship but I loved seeing them figuring out and admitting their feelings for one another. I would definitely recommend reading this one. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
Another comfortable, easy to read, though a little predictable, story in the series that I am enjoying. There was an interesting airplane quarantine in this one which features an air marshal and a flight attendant. Other than that, not a whole lot happened, and it follows the same formulaic outline as the other stories in this series. However, I do enjoy the Easy Tone and likable, decent characters that made the story fun to read.
Because You Loved Me: I loved how the story was written. Loved this addition to the Baytown Boys Series. Kade and Miles were wonderful and how they kept each other going while on a difficult flight. I loved the connection that they both had towards each other. They understood each other so well. Loved the challenges that they went through. Great story!
I have to say I loved this book ...from the moment Kade and miles net in plane you could feel the chemistry..... They went through kades commitment phobia to get their happy ending. I love all the books from this author... I. Recommend you reading this you will love it then read the rest to learn about miles friends..... I voluntarily read an arc
After seeing his best friends settling down and finding the one that they will spend the rest of their life with Miles wanted the same. While Miles is an flight attendant and when an viral outbreak is on the plane Miles and the rest tries to help everyone and an air marshal named Zane helps out as well things happens
Miles left Baytown at eighteen and became an airline steward. Kade is an Air Marshal after leaving the Air Force. They meet on a flight out of Dubai and have to deal with a sudden outbreak of illness causing a diversion and quarantine. A marvelous story of meeting and exploring a future. Romantic and erotic.
The Baytown boys are finding their HEAs. Miles is happy with his status, he flies around the world. Kade is the gorgeous “air cop” and they find themselves attracted to each other after a scary moment on a plane flight. Now they are just in it for sex, or are they? I enjoyed reading about their adventures and angst and their fondness of Valentines day.
Another great read on those days when you don't want to be all embroiled in tension and conflict, when you've got your feet up and just want a little romance (with a little steam and a little mystery). I love the premise as it isn't everyday. The voices of the main characters come through beautifully. Very enjoyable.
This book will have you hooked from page one. Miles and Kane both have some serious commitment issues, Kane more than Miles but he finally stepped up to the plate in the most romantic way. I just couldn't get enough of them and ended up staying up all night reading because you just lose yourself in their story. I voluntarily review this Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Loved this story! Miles and Kade had an instant connection, but it wasn't insta-love... Their story and their feelings felt very real. Very likeable characters, great storytelling. Can't wait to read more by this author.
Once again another brilliant read from Ian Finn!! This series just gets better and better!! I love all the wonderful guys that fill this story and can't wait to read the next book!! Thank you Ian Finn!! 💜💜💜💜
Miles and Kade started off working on the airlines doing their jobs until sickness broke out. Not understanding what was going on, they became quarantined. But these two had a magic about them that showed. Full of drama and excitement but also love!
Thank you, Mr. Ian Finn, for such a wonderfully romantic series! Each story with a little bit of drama but a whole lot of romance! I have fallen in with love with these Baytown Men!
I thought this book was wonderful. It was heartwarming and a little heartbreaking when I didn't think that they would stay together but in the end they finally opened up to each other and ended up married and very happy.
Meeting on a plane, one a steward, the other a sky marshal! They are drawn together! Pretty hard to get together when they have different schedules and different planes! Read how they work through their love! Hope you enjoy!
I have yet to be disappointed by Ian and the story of Miles and Made proves just that. Who'd have thought you could meet the love of your life thousands of miles in the sky?
