A very short audiobook lacking in detail and not very inclusive of the range of people who may be interested in practicing tantra. The narrator mispronounces a lot of terms.

One of the worst books on the subject that was ever produced. The only positive aspect is, that it is very short, but this does not saves it the second star.
The book has two messages:
One: you can’t learn tantra on your own: go and book courses/trainings by a good and experienced tantra teacher. (The book fails completely at explaining how to find one or how to tell the „good“ from not so good)
Second: the defloration of a young woman should be done by a much older and experienced tantra practicing dude. This part goes babbling incoherently for about a fifth of the book and is way beyond cringeworthy.
The whole „book“ is mostly incoherent babbling. Do not read!
Read „Urban Tantra“ by Barbara Carellas instead.

Taoism can be pronounced in two ways, but neither one of them sounds like TAY-O-ism.

I didn’t even get five minutes into this book before DNFing. I can’t say this is the worst narrator Ive ever heard, but dammit it’s pretty close. Was she a friend of the publisher who decided they would just read it for fun and upload it or if was this person paid for this? Hope not because I have no idea what they’re doing.

And for the love of goodness if you’re going to narrate a book step back from the microphone when you breathe! Every single moment where there should be a pause is hearing this woman breathing like she’s gasping for air.

I’d like to put this at the top of my worst narrators, but she’s not talented enough to even make the list

Really liked a lot of it. Thought there were some things that were too gendered, and the virgin chapter was problematic with its power dynamics and reinforcement of ideas of virginity that are counterproductive.

Overall, love its views of love and sex.

The Book felt like it was cliff notes to itself. Short, with some nice general ideas, but not much applicable information.

This book is a description of Tantra sex and not a guide.
