The fence around the compound isn't there just to keep people out. It's to keep people in.

My sister deserves to have the wedding of her dreams, not an arranged marriage to some random werewolf. But our Alpha father is trying to force her into marrying someone she doesn't love, someone she doesn't even know.

The worst part? She's agreeing to do it so I won't have to.

I have to figure a way to get her out of this. A way that won't end up getting myself killed in the end.

It isn't just werewolves I need to worry about...

Dodging danger isn't the easiest thing to do lately, after having a run-in with a new kind of evil - one that I never knew even existed until I met Jax.

And my friends?
It's hard to say which ones I can trust.

I received Starcrossed in return for an honest review from the authors.

Camryn's was worried with her best friend gone her summer would be boring. Instead of boring, she's met a new boy that just arrived in town that she shares a connection with. Her father has returned from a long absence, but he doesn't have the best intentions when he forces her 18-year-old sister to marry. One of the kids from school has been found murdered and all signs point to werewolves involved.

Camryn's future is banking on her and Jax figuring a way to break the cycle of her dying. As if that's not enough strange werewolves are hanging around town, and her new friend may not be who she pretends to be. As if she doesn't have enough going on her best friend has returned to town only to find out that Camryn hasn't been telling her everything going on. Will they figure out how to save Camryn's life or will she repeat the cycle once again? What about who killed the student from school?

I really like Camryn she's just getting better and better with each book. She's sweet, honest and willing to do whatever it takes to protect those she loves. I like Jax he's a good guy who cares about Camryn but he has some secrets that he's not ready to share with her. In Starcrossed we get to learn more about Mila as well as Zoe and her new marriage and even a little bit of their prior lives.

I couldn't wait to dive right in but I knew I had to wait till I had enough time to read cover to cover. Starcrossed is the 2nd installment in the Sherwood Wolves it starts off right after the end of the first book. While I'm not a huge fan of insta-love it's different for Camryn and Jax as they have had many lives together even if they don't last very long and it works. I read Starcrossed in one sitting unable to put it down until the last page because I had to know what was going to happen next. I love the characters they are easy to connect with you can't help loving Camryn she's adorable. The authors have done an amazing job creating a captivating story that sparks the heart as well as the imagination. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next with our star-crossed pair.

Days of our Lives

This story is like a soap opera. Characters randomly get introduced with little to no explanation. Topics are raised and never explained. Camryn is naïve about everything. Yet she is supposed to be strong and self sufficient? Jax is an awful boyfriend/mate. Blair and Roxy are both let downs. The only character that is worth anything is Mila, and she is be-autch-y! Hopefully the next books are better.

Starcrossed (The Sherwood Wolves #2) ~ I absolutely loved 💖💕💞💗 this book! I was drawn into the story right away, and never stopped wanting to turn the pages. I enjoyed reading how Camryn and Jax have been in each other's lives for over two hundred years.   I cannot wait to start reading book 3!!!! I definitely recommend this series!!!

Liked it but it was lacking compared to the first. still a good read just not what I was expecting. Some think that’s great but I was hoping to get to know jax more and develop their relationship but it doesn’t. I’m disappointed so I’m cutting my losses I’m not going to continue the series.

Such a good book! I pulled me in and o couldn't put it down. WOW!! I gave it 4 stars because of a couple swear words and a little wordy. Like I did on the first book and skimmed through it. I love the story line and how it keeps your attention!

Camdryn and Jax

I like the story but hate that when you finish one book your left with a cliff hanger. But I will continue to read the book .

Definitely worth the read

So much drama and still can't get enough. I can't wait to find out what happens to Jax and Camryn. The rest of the packs and who killed Isaac?!

I received a free copy for an honest review.

The book overall is very enjoyable, and precisely I should've given this book 4.5 stars if to judge it only based on its plot. But there was a good reason for this point off, and it's lucky it's only a 0.5 point off.

I wish I can separate the review of this book into two parts: romance and the story. The story was AMAZING. It just left me wanting more and more. I couldn't put my kindle down (that is probably because of all the cliffhangers that are literally at the end of every single fricking chapter). It was entertaining, enjoyable, well organized, and it's just great. The story itself is worth four stars. And it's such a shame because the book could've gotten perfect 5 stars if the romance was this good as well, but that didn't happen. The romance was horrid. Absolutely horrid. I understand that I feel this way is probably caused by how Jax and Camryn are separated from each other half of the book, but couldn't the author figured something else? And even though romantic scenes did pop out once in a while, it just didn't get me to feel anything, because it's just not well expressed. The situations were not well thought out enough. If the author just writes the situation better in Jax and Camryn's favor and add more jealous scenarios, it would've helped a lot. I know it's not my problem that I'm not feeling the chemistry between them because I've read so many other books that go me squirming in my chair, screaming and crying from the chemistry overdose. A book with well-written romance is capable of that, and that takes good scenarios for the character/story in general. But this book didn't get me feeling this way. And I wanted to feel it so bad because the story is absolutely amazing, and I just want a good romantic relationship to go along with it. I didn't feel the overprotectiveness where Jax risks everything for Camryn, and that usually is the best way to help the reader feel the love between two characters. I believe this book's romance would've been perfect. Because the romance had so much potential! If only the authors made a few changes.

Also, I just want to add how since the moon binding process has already begun for like, a long time already, maybe another way to improve this book to perfection is to add changes in Camryn to show the effects of the process, kind of like foreshadowing. Dropping hints once a while, here and there. Changes in her physical appearances, emotions, and basic habits. The author could've added scenes that seems to mean nothing at all, but hints the changes in her and how she's getting a day closer to death with the soul binding process continuing. Such as loosing appetite, loosing interest in favorite foods, moody, etc. It can be added just a small hint, and finish with a narrative like 'it's probably nothing', or just leave it alone.

Now that I've spent half this review critiquing this book, I have to praise the majority, and that is the plot of this book. I've read books where the story was just a hot mess, and problems are everywhere. It's so chaotic and it's unrealistic that it's just not enjoyable anymore. However, this book managed to organize and focus on all the main problems, without getting off track in any way, while still adding on other small issues so the reader wouldn't feel bored, but it's still in order and not overwhelming.

Either way, I still really enjoyed this book, and even if the romance wasn't up to the standers, and plotline was very well done. So overall, I give it a 4 to 4.5 stars.

I adore these two authors. I haven't been disappointed in one of their books yet. This is the second book in a new series, with new shifters! I loved the first book, this second one just keeps getting better and better! So much crazy happened, and I'm dying to find out more! It's times like this I wish books could be written faster! Five glittery stars for another successful book!
