What would you do to save the life of someone you love? Jaquelyn Hyde, chemical pathologist student, asked herself that question many times as she fought to find a cure for the disease slowly killing her aunt and could only ever come up with one answer.
Anything.
But she quickly realizes getting what you want comes with a price... and that price can be higher than you’re able to pay.
**This reverse harem Urban Fantasy Romance will show you what happens when the monsters don’t stay in the closet... but lie in wait within ourselves.**
Stacy Jones is an award-winning romance author living in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas. She can usually be found at her desk, with an oversized coffee cup, bringing the fantastical worlds and captivating characters in her imagination to life.
Jaquelyn (Lyn) Hyde, chemical pathologist student has already lost one mother. She can't lose a second one. So she is determined to do anything to find a cure for the disease slowly killing her aunt. When she is convinced she's found the correct formula, she uses the only test subject available to her, herself. Jacky is created. More interested in fighting and two blue-eyed twins, Jacky has no time for dull little Lyn's life, her classes or her sweet Southern crush. Somehow these two are going to have to learn about the other and learn to share!
I am a huge fan of KB Everly. Her writing is original, sometimes dark, always sexy, and always entertaining. For this story, she is paired with Stacy Jones, another fresh voice. This twist on Jekyll and Hyde is a prequel providing the backstory on what is sure to a most unusual and captivating RH. Brilliant start!
Every good literary classic gets its reworks over time. In THIS take on Jekyll and Hyde, Jaquelyn Hyde is Lyn and Jacky- a reserved and focus-driven student by day who transforms into a fighting dominatrix after she drinks the formula she's been working on. In this prequel, the scene is set and the characters introduced, including the love interests (Yes, plural. RH is where it's at). The anticipation for Where I Hide, the continuation of this story, has myself and my fellow K.B. Everly and Stacy Jones fans chomping at the bit.
Lyn is the primary part and she is so sweet and determined. Jacky is the alter and holy hell. Shes a ballbuster. But if you know the work of Everly and Jones then your expectation of a bad*** is well achieved in this short story. A modern day twist on a classic tale that doesnt leave you disappointed. Well, it leaves you drooling for the new series, but not disappointed.
This was awesome.. I can't wait to read more of this story.. Soooooo gooooood!! 🖤 Will they eventually be able to share her body somewhat equally? It's gonna get interesting
My goodness Hyde with me was such an awesome way to start a new series. I seriously can't wait to see how it plays out. This was just a taste and I need more!
I really can’t wait to read this series. This is definitely a fresh take on the Jeckyl and Hyde tale. I liked that this is from a female point of view because women can be strong too. I have heard about this until I saw this prequel and was intrigued. I’m definitely more interested about the characters.
Bummer, I'm not sure why this is a book. It says it's a prequel but nothing else was written. I purchased my copy on ebay so I also didn't realize it was only 60 pages. That was my own fault but there isn't really any reason to read this because it really is the equivalent of reading a short prequel in the beginning of the book but it doesn't go anywhere. 🤷🏻♀️
I particularly enjoyed Hyde with Me. The story was a rather fresh twist on the Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde retelling. Looking forward to the continuation of that series.
This is an awesome new take on Jekyll and Hyde. The two personalities are well defined in such a short prequel and it sets up a series with love interests for both personalities really well.
