In The Way of the Kabbalist, Yehuda Berg lifts the veil of mystery around the spiritual tools and technology used by the kabbalists to achieve self-control, abundance, healing, love, and joy. This book explains the significance of certain clothing and colors; of hair and head coverings; of special days and meditations; of immersion in water and rolling in the snow; incense and candle lighting; food classifications and combinations, and much more.
Yehuda Berg is a renowned authority on Kabbalah. Touted as "the people's kabbalist," he shares these teachings as a technology to improve everyday life. In 2007 Newsweek named Yehuda one of the top 5 rabbi's in the US. Yehuda believes that only by transforming our negativity can we unlock our greatest blessings. A bestselling author whose books include The Power of Kabbalah and 72 Names of God, Yehuda is a true spiritual activist. He lives in LA with his wife and 5 children."
This was my first time reading anything like this,I am on a journey to become more spiritual and this was an amazing first step for me. I love the way things were explained in a way I can understand, and I didn't find it to overwhelming It had small introductions in just about every aspect of life that left me wanting more. I'm looking forward to reading other books from this author. I now have a lot of questions and am excited to find answers.
Fabulous book. Very easy to read-tells about the tools of Kabbalah. Really great for Jews-as tells how the traditions and Biblical events can help us out today. I learned how to tie true spirituality with my religion.
Only reason the book wasn't rated 5 stars was because the author sometimes seemed to "sell" one of his numerous other books for other answers in the shory.
