A note on chronology: This story takes place after The Chocolate Temptation and Shadowed Heart. The main characters are Patrick and Sarah, from The Chocolate Temptation. This is a story for people who loved those characters and that book. I would recommend reading it and, ideally, Shadowed Heart and “Heart’s Gift” before you read this story.

Cute and sweet. Patrick wasn't my favourite Florand H, but he was fine just the same. As the only Asian character, I should be able to identify more with the h, Sarah, but I just couldn't. I guess that lack of connection translated into this short too, even years after reading their story.

I've actually never read this short story, so I was really happy to dig in to it, I enjoyed it a lot and smiled so much while I read it.
